i really dislike this pervasive idea amongst the pretentious that something being bad excludes it from being art in the first place. like, sorry, i believe all films are art. yeah even marvel movies yeah even dogshit comedies yeah even hallmark films. like this is the root of the “what is and isn’t art” debate it all comes down to people wanting to declare that things they dislike cannot possibly be art, once you remove that factor the answer to What Is Art becomes very simple. it’s what humans make

Unlike Earth, where sunsets are red and orange due to the scattering of shorter blue wavelengths by our atmosphere, Mars has an extremely fine dust that scatters blue light more efficiently near the Sun.

So during sunset on Mars, the sky turns reddish-brown while the area around the Sun glows a soft blue. It’s the opposite of what we experience on Earth.
