I ended up doing the translations out of order after all, but here’s Karasuma’s and Irina’s chapter in English!

Takaoka: The sequel to the incident that occurred seven years ago

Takaoka: You and your wife must know of it

Irina: That’s right! The battle between husband and wife never ends!! Tonight will be my win!!

Irina: …How mortifying!!

Irina: I’ve been treated like a baby for these seven years…!!

Karasuma: It’s that guy’s genes…Are these…clones!?

Irina: I’ve heard that our child has built up a harem at the nursery. Just who does she take aft-

Karasuma: You.

Karasuma: Wasn’t the possibility that it would be used as a weapon abandoned!!?

Karasuma: A dangerous location!?

Irina: Yes, I’ll go anywhere!!

Irina:  Although, I hate it when I’m ordered around by someone other than you  

Takaoka: KAARASUMAAAAAAAA!!

Karasuma:  We shoulder the heavy things

Karasuma: Together, as a team

Technically, I can’t say with 100% certainty that the guy in the hat and the one screaming “KARASUMAAAA” is actually Takaoka but he sure sounds (and looks) like him, and it’s a lot cleaner than writing “random guy”. Karasuma’s and Irina’s marriage is going more or less how I expected.

EDIT: nvm I didn’t notice that he had scars in his second panel. I was too distracted by the KARASUMAAAAAA to get a good look at the details. So  yeah, 99.9%  chance that it’s Takaoka,  0.01% chance that it’s his long lost twin or something. 

He doesn’t have scars in the first picture but that’s probably because he’s obscuring his identity. Not to mention the scars would be hard to draw in on that panel.

i think the key difference between george lucas’s star wars and disney’s star wars is that lucas is a man with an ideology. someone with a point of view, and all that entails. which comes with ideas of revolution, anti-imperialism, challenging the status quo, cultural appropriation and racist stereotypes. complex and contradictory ideas because that’s how artists are: complex and complicated people. disney is not. disney is a corporation. a corporation can’t have ideology, because ideology defeats the purpose of profit. and when the only thing you do is to turn on the movie manufacturing machine before you sit down and plan what ideas are you trying to convey to the audience, then your results are going to be washed out corporate garbage. and because when you’re a giant corporation who only cares about selling to the widest audience possible, you can’t take sides. you can’t decide on an idea. because you want to sell your product to people who are on the entire political spectrum. which results in movies without ideology, without purpose, without soul.

Omg. I just dreamt that there was a season finale where the ghoul approaches Lucy at the end in a small town, deserted but not completely in ruins, she smiles at him, surprised yet a little apprehensive why he comes THIS close. He cups her cheek and gives her a smile before kissing her, and they go into one of the houses with a Wintergarten and start kissing more while the camera pans away to give them privacy for their happy ending. 😭 All the while the song "La Vie en Rose" plays in the background...

Just had a plot thought.

What if in the future there is a scene where Barb and Lucy are being held by the Enclave, and they offer Cooper the option to save one of them. And instead of picking his family as he would have done instantaneously before, he hesitates and says,

"Don't make me choose."

I think that would be quite a nice way of showing how much he cared for Lucy without having explicitly stated the nature of his feelings for her. That there's a certain parity of affection which has been unspoken before.
