notice on the state of the hiatus
hey y'all, it's Robin. im here to say that im no longer going to be on hiatus from this blog ! I've had enough of a break, and I've returned with a fresh eye on my special boy, Atlas - I'll be re-vamping some of my pages here (I.e. About, Rules, Verses) so look forward to that!
It's great to be back. I don't know if many of you are still here, but it's great to see you all again! I'm looking forward to writing with you all again.
hiatus notice.
im ,, really sorry for being absent for so long, i haven’t been feeling any of me fe muses for the longest time. i want to come back so much, but for the time being, i’m afraid i’m gonna have to put myself on hiatus in this community. this goes for all of my blogs. ( @rigelicn , @zoficn , @dicetoss , @fratrisbenedictus , @rcdicnce , etc)
i love atlas and everyone else with all of my blood and soul, don’t get me wrong, i just... don’t feel like writing too much on these blogs anymore. im sorry for any inconveniences this may cause. i will definitely make an effort to come back at some times, kjust don’t expect much in the way of content - if my muse ever flares up again, you know that i’ll be back.
you can find me over at @targonian. taric’s the only muse i can keep up without getting overwhelmed, and im working on a FE verse there - please, give him a look if you’d like to keep up with what im doing.

sorry about the sudden absence, everyone. i’ve been dealing with the loss of a dear friend (my cat) and i haven’t exactly been feeling up to much. i’ll try my best to get back into things. thank you for your patience.
With a flex and a (rather well-timed & wonderfully charming) grin, Atlas used his actions - a constant and unfaltering factor, his ‘reliable ol’ guns’, as he would call them - to describe what his words - stumbling and faulty within the presence of this army’s very own Cupid - could not.
However, as soon as his actions ceased, his true naivety rang through his tone as words - ones laced with a childlike curiosity and some odd charm - stumbled forth from his lips.
“Haha, yeah... My mama always said I came outta the womb with an axe in my little baby fist. aw man, could a little kiddo even wrap his baby mitts around the damned thing? And wouldn’t that have been painful for her? I mean, like... honestly. I’m startin’ t’think that she was just kiddin’ about that stuff.”
“…I have the sudden urge to bake an apple pie. Is there anyone wanting a slice?”
atlas - axe in hand, woodchips covering his shoulders, log of a tree slung over his arm - drops three apples onto the ground. he screams like he has never screamed before. he has already cut down an entire gods damned tree for three whole apples.
at least he tried to help.

Atlas - with puppy-dog eyes staring as dumbfoundedly as ever forward; unwavering in stance, unmoving in gaze - could not help but falter as the sassy archer before him punctuated his presence with a sole cock of his hip. However, as quickly as his simple mind was distracted, he re-doubled his efforts upon maintaining a soothing eye contact with this conversational partner of his. At first he had almost let Leon’s simple question pass him by like a summer breeze passing vapidly upon the wind, though he quickly tuned into his ally’s remark; With a gentle flex and a light flush fanning out across his cheeks, he began to respond.
“Oh -- yeah, I’m pretty handy with an axe! Back in my village, I used’ta chop wood for my kid brothers. I was the most well endowed for the job, and so I gladly took it! Given that I’m fighting with y’all right now, I’d say all that time on the choppin’ block really payed off.”

Within the army Atlas had found himself in, not one individual interested him quite as Leon did. True of heart, outlandishly fierce, and a damn good shot to top it off - this was the kind of man that Atlas would wish associate himself with. Despite the fact that he seemed rather approachable to the naked eye, Atlas found himself struggling to meet his gaze; hesitating, worrying, having to give himself the last push over the boundary to introduce himself.
“So, uh... you’re pretty damn good with a bow, right?”

The words Python had used for this being of his very own namesake didn’t quite hit him. Instead of finding their mark like the arrows this man was so well known for, this fletched bit of information staved left, and soared directly over Atlas’ head.
Dopey smile still blazing strong upon his face, Atlas proceeded to lift the venomous creature dangerously close to some of the face’s more vital extremities.
“Aww, ain’t he a cutie...”
As the snake snapped and spat, writhed and wrestled the mountain of a man’s grip on its scaly body, Atlas continued to admire the snake from an overly-close distance. At one point, the being quite nearly latched itself onto the man’s eye - he could only laugh.
Laugh, for the danger in his hands was all too palpable. Laugh, as the reality of the situation set in. Laugh, as not one ounce of consideration went into his decisions. Holding it close to his breast, Atlas continued to utter his rambunctious folly, guffawing like a madman - and in that moment, perhaps he was.
“Hoo-ee - feisty one, isn’t he? I don’t understand though, why’re ya so afraid of him? We’ve wrangled baddies bigger an’ tougher than this little guy here in our sleep...!”
