is it always a long day within the divination commission? sometimes, it can be dreadfully so, and thus the young foxian did what she coul to both do her job and keep herself entertained. though, often it comes in the form of banter. "with the way you so gracefully conduct yourself, one might get the wrong idea and think you're doing it on purpose..." whatever that meant. pink tail swishes behind her. my, what a trouble the lady miko to deal with! for quite some time, it seemed there was mutual agreement in place  ( one silently written upon )  to cross paths as little as fate intended.  ( thus to avoid butting heads at every rounding corner )  while normally, fu xuan was one to reprimand anyone who slacked on their work, miko was the rare exception. a sharp wit & keen eye — those were her redeeming qualities that spared her from the master diviner's wrath.   ❛  lady miko ,  ❜   she began, turning to face the notably taller woman.   ❛  it would seem you're feeling rather bold this afternoon .  might i ask why that is ?  ❜

a judgement proceeded in silence — fully considering her words. she'll get bored. would she? fu xuan wondered just what had stopped her from acting on such a method before ... pride. an ego too boisterous to run neglected. it was always at risk in the presence of kafka — she always seemed to test her limits as a master diviner. @aevori was no silent combatant  ( or silent ,  in general ,  it seemed ). she glanced at silverwolf, a glint in those soft eyes that carried both annoyance & realization, though not directed towards her.

           ❛  i  —  !  i  ...  have no desire to let such rowdy behavior go unanswered .  ❜   what an excuse that was! she simply couldn't let go of the grip her arrogance held on her. it would be no easy task — an effort that may prove useful for far grander projects & encounters.   ❛  she must be held accountable  ...  might you have any other suggestions ?  ❜

ugh — slowly takumi's hands dressed the new cut adorning his skin . ' don't you have anything better to do than to bother me ? ' takumi questioned .

a scoff — one of utter disbelief. how could one approach the master diviner in such an unimaginable way? especially after she had extended such courtesy towards him? her arms crossed over her chest,  ( with her chin high & a posture that oozed confidence  ...  )  disgruntlement was evident.   ❛  hmph !  perhaps you ought to rethink your tone  ...  & mind your manners in my presence !  ❜

           despite such stern words, worry for his injuries lingered. how could such a thing be ignored? let alone written off as a bother? yet another scoff — people would always be an enigma to her.   ❛  may your audacious lies & quick temper overshadow the hurt your injuries leave .  ❜   it was her way of saying  ( hopefully your guilt scars more than your wounds ). even she realized how cruel it may sound ;  most things did when it came from her mouth.   ❛  are you or are you not in need of medical assistance ?  ❜

hands on each side of her own hips, sushang poses with the thought of being thrown into dangers jaws. excitement builds in her heart, prompting the soldier to beam a smile at lady fu xuan. " as much as i'd love to toss myself and clear out some more mara struck, i have some training soon with master jing yuan." sushang's days of being an amateur amongst the ranks have come to an end as her powers took notice by the general.

sushang's powers came from strict training in both physical and mental. a calling betwixt her dreams, li sushang envisioned summoning a celestial sword from the skies above. " speaking of that.. i was wondering if i could ask you something a bit crazy." bold as usual, the sword maiden blurts out whats on her mind even if it sounds all too unprofessional. holding on to these very words, her stomach turns a little at the thought of what's in store for her future ; releasing her sword for while glows in various yellow and fuschia auras.

the general, jing yuan, spoke highly of the young knight in meetings past — she knew it had only been a matter of moons before a promotion was at hand  ( whilst wondering when it would be her turn  ... ). all too rare does the dozing & tiresome man do such a thing so soon. sushang was special & proved it with each harrowing battle, tumultuous as it may be. she watches as the girl couldn't seem to sit still — only managing to do so when her tone grew serious. 

           a bit crazy  ( she could almost laugh ! ).while she reserved her capabilities for the entirety of the xianzhou's benefit, it wasn't rare she would indulge requests of friends or people she grew fond of. in which case, nothing sushang could utter would be considered by her standards — not when she had seen firsthand the countless possibilities that lay waste, losing only to one just slightly more advantageous. she chuckled, more to herself than her companion.   ❛  li sushang ,  ❜   her voice came off soft, despite the confidence that dripped from it.   ❛  you may ask me whatever it is that may plague your thoughts. no question too bold for comfort  ...  ❜   ( well ,  terms & conditions apply ! )  in an act of sincerity, a smile graced her features.

eyes pointed in the her direction — almost accusatory. she paused before letting out a gentle huff.   ❛  i am merely ensuring you haven't fallen asleep  —  again .  ❜   had it been a one time occurrence, she might've let the girl off with an earnest warning & leave it at that  ( or  ...  more likely ,  perhaps she would've brought it up a time or two afterwards as a possible work incentive ).   ❛  lazing about on the clock ?  ❜

a scoff, nearly releasing a mix of tangible confidence & spite. one in the same. perhaps, to those who dishonor lawful ways, the directives sanctioned to uphold justice were nothing more than an outline for chaos or an oppressive feature of society. she disagreed. given their respective standings, she held the power — but that was not to assume kafka had none. on the contrary, fu xuan believed fully that  ( unlike criminals past )  she must remain on guard. who knew what underhanded tactics she stored?

           ❛  i have faith in the matrix of prescience  —  no method that has acted as a stronghold for the divination commission could fail .  ❜   ( though  ...  despite her better judgement ,  there were doubts )  any hint of uncertainty disappeared without a trace. i am the best — i have never been wrong before. this is no exception.   ❛  & i have no interest in entertaining such nonsense .  need i remind you ,  there is still a problem at large .  ❜   whether or not she & her coconspirators were indirectly involved in such a predicament of grand scale, it was still at the top of her priorities. desperate times called for desperate measures. 

arguing could wait ... for now.   ❛  given your  ...  respective position as a member of the stellaron hunters & your knowledge of reasons yet untold  ...  i've come to ask for a favor .  ❜    she wanted to bite her tongue — to run & hide behind the nearest starskiff or even travel aboard the astral express as a stowaway  ( nothing ,  at that very moment ,  was out of the question ).   ❛  might i assume you have a semblance of what it may be regarding ?  ❜
