- first time eating an acai bowl. and it was freaking bomb.  - not only is it filled with antioxidants [yayy healthy~] it was sweet and tangy. - i believe i ordered the lemi fresh acai bowl. loved the granola and honey. the fruits were fresh too~

- hawaiian shaved ice! the creamy ice cream in the middle definitely hit the spot. super packed, but well worth the wait. :] - i have yet to try the neighboring matsumoto's though.

- japanese fushion food. <3 - the honey toast was one of the absolute BEST i've ever had. - everything was amazingly delicious. definitely going back the next time i'm in hawaii.

rooftop bbq: somewhere near hermosa beach

- a bbq on a rooftop near the beachh. how awesome is that? - hamburgers and hot dogs, and a grill master that can make them absolutely scrumptious... couldn't of have been more perfectt.

- my classmates took me to eat 보쌈 [bossam] and 해물파전 [korean pancake]! bossam is steamed pork or beef, lettuce, kimchi, and whatever else you want to put in it wrapped in thin slices of rice cake or pickled? radishes. [correct me if i'm wrong] and korean pancake has a whole bunch of vegetables and seafood in it.  - everything was sooosososo good. and apparently very healthy too! :]

- cutest water containers everr. - the bread was crispy on the outside, but superrr soft on the inside - the pasta was amazinggg - and of course, rooftop dining is always a plusss <3

- a little bit pricey, but yummy nonetheless. - i lovee the container they used to hold the olive oil and balsamic vinegar in. - live music! the owner of the restaurant pulled out a string instrument and broke out into song while the rest of his family played the background music or danced. a few of the customers got up to dance as well. - i love the atmosphere of the restaurant and it was super cozy inside.

- bruschetta was amazingg. hence... getting two portions to split between 3 people - the bread that comes with the pasta was soooo good.  - tiramisu. i wish we ordered two portions of that as well. haha.  - and it wasn't even that expensive considering how good it was. :]

- cajun fries and fried catfishhh.  - one pound of shrimp, the whole shabang!, and of course, with potatoes and corn. <3<3 - definitely worth the insanely long wait to be seated.

- falafellll. lamb. bomb. and fried cauliflower.  - i have yet to try the wowshi everybody seems to be flipping out aboutt. somedayyy.  - a super awesome hole in the wall, and definitely worth ditching in-n-out for.

- a ucla trip musttt, of course. i'd be crazy to be in the area and not go here. - after many trips, my favorite combination, and only combination i ever get now: one candy cookie and one white chocolate macadamia with mint chip ice cream. <3<3

- wurstküche.... still not sure how to pronounce it. i'm probably totally off - first time having an authentic german sausage thoughhh. the menu was crazy, and i was soo indecisive. there were also a lot of exotic kinds of meat on the menu, but i was wayy too chicken to try. [but from my braver classmates' opinion, it was deliciouss]  - belgian fries with some pretty abnormal dips, but it was yummy nonetheless. :]  - the way this place was set up was amazinggg too. very industrial.
