Okay, but, Maccready fear wetting.
Like,Sole doing a task for the minute men and Maccready tags along.
But then they arrive at a small issue, the task is on the other side of the city and honestly being blown to smithereens by super mutants just doesnt sound all that fun.
So, sole makes a U-turn, finding the entrance way to the subway station. As they're making their climb down, Sole notices that Maccready hasn't budged from the first step.
"What, you scared?" They jokingly asked, nudging the shoulder of the sniper as he backtracks back to him.
Maccready rolls his eye, "No- just, I would rather /not/ get stupid phenomena or whatever."
Sole chuckles lightly and pats his shoulder, "I promise ya' for the amount of time we'll be down there nothing will get you."
The thing is, it's before Maccready explained/told the truth to why he's in the commonwealth, meaning he hasn't told Sole about the ghoul attack that killed his wife /in/ a station.
Anyways- they get into the subway station, Maccready grumbling because his shoes and socks are soaked basically from the moment they came down. But, that nuisance is the least of his concerns at the moment.
Subways have an ominous silence and what sounds there are bounce and echo off the tiled walls eerily. And worst of all, it's a festering ground for ghouls.
He dryly swallows as they slink through the seemingly endless tunnel.
Anyways, timehop to the two accidentally stepping upon a small patch of feral ghouls.
Usually Maccready's fight part of fight or flight kicks in, however, it's his flight that happens as he is overcome with fear, memories flooding back as he just stands there as the ghoul's rustle around.
Thankfully the whizzing of bullets from sole's gun passing by his ears snap him out enough to stumble back, taking shots that just miss the ghouls completely and hit the wall.
And as he stands back, trying to claw out of the mind numbing fear, the gun for hire's eyes widen as he looks down.
He's wetting himself from fear. And isn't able to stop. ;0;
Soon the Sole is finished putting bullets into the irradiated folks, turning back to Maccready with concern, usually the man is quick with his trigger. Then they hears the small sniffles. Sole is quick to shine their pip-boy light onto the man and is surprised to see silent tears rolling down his face but, even more surprised to see his soaked pants-
