Calorie counting made easy:
1g of carbohydrate - 4 Cal
1g of protein - 4 Cal
1g of fat - 9 Cal
So 100g of anything is between 400 to 900 Cal.
💦If it contains a lot of water then it will have less calories (like fruits and vegetables!!).
🌰If it contains a lot of fat then it prob has lots of calories (but it will also make u feel fuller hence eating less) Nuts are good for u!
🥩Proteins are great since it 1. Fills you up 2. Takes the most energy to break down 3. Helps maintain muscle (lose fat not muscle)
🍞Carbohydrates don't fill u up and it also makes u crave more. Go for fruits and veggies instead of processed sugars!
