I don't want to start with something cringe.. but maybe that'd be for the best?
Something I can scroll and find a year later, laugh at like: "Wow, they sure were having fun!"
In that spirit! Howdy! Ello? Nice to meet you < 3
I'm Naia, 22NB, I use any pronouns and won't bite your head off regardless of what you use!
As of right now, I've been inspired to try and make a blog. A person I respect with my entire heart left me, and while I'm hurt, I want to carry on the admiration I have for them. Their way of thinking is so grounded, so moral, that I was always taken by it, when we were together.
I've struggled to get myself to think a lot, if at all really. I tune things out, ignore the world around me, and get lost in my idealistic daydreams, those other worlds that can satisfy me for a bit.
But that's also made me so very not self aware. I rarely notice my real flaws, or the problematic ways I think and am. That was one thing they pointed out. If they hadnt said anything, I would have carried on without even the slightest attempt. I'm hoping that Tumblr, a space I see so often, a space that they loved, will help me interact with ideas that can push me to become a better person.
I'm flawed. Very much so. But I hope I can begin to think like you do. Not for you, but for me.
I think that's pretty honest, right?
I hope the me from a year in the future finds this and laughs with a light heart.
Peace! Naia.
