Character Profile- Kingsley Drake
Kingsley P. Drake is a 47-year-old who enjoys reading, tap-dancing, seafood and helping others. He comes off as a parental figure sometimes or just an over-caring man and is giving, but can also be very violent and a bit secretive.
He is addicted to shiny things, something which his friend Edward Young pointed out when he discovered one of his “small” stash of random objets. The problem intensified as he would even collect bottle caps and coloured bottles.
He is British who defines himself as bisexual, however he does’t actively parade it as it is (for unknown reasons) men who are homosexuals is a crime but it’s legal for women. He sees it as something that a person just have and is just is. He was educated at Highgate School in London. At 18 he left school and joined publishers, remaining with the firm until 1935 when he moved to join Penguin Books as production manager. Kingsley left Penguin due with the outbreak of the war but came back to it after it.
Physically, Kingsley is in pretty good shape. He is tall (5′9 ft) with pale skin, jet black hair and unusual dark amber eyes. He has Due to the genetics and some unfortunate experimenting, Kingsley looks younger than his actual age. A very notable scar replace his right eye and he wears an eyepatch to hide the most damaged part as you can see the broken skin mark go down across from just above the eyebrow to the top of his cheekbone..
He grew up in an upper class neighbourhood. Parents divorced when he was young leaving him with his mother, but would visit his father who had other children with other women (some of it is by accident as he’s blind and had mistaken other women as his wife when drunk).
He is currently single. His love interests are the deputy chief constable, Diana Graves, who are good friends and she watch over Edward Young when he’s on the job and Tony Seals who works in the same building as him and has more of attraction for Kingsley then Kingsley does for him.
Kingsley's best friend is a zoik called Nora Tombs. They have a very firey friendship and he comes to her for her calculating advice as she knows of both side of his life. He also hangs around with Mary young. They enjoy photography together. Edward Young is seen as a younger brother, nephew or son that he tends to parent over nearly all the time with Edward’s job being dangerous as a detective sergeant.

Currently working as the face of the Penguin industry (keep in mind that this is just fictional and that I have no idea what it’s like to work with a publishing company, I’m doing research but I have no more than that to work off).
Has a secret underground smuggling empire in London. A cold, stoic, vigilante, almost an anti-hero of sorts. His craving for shiny-things is deeper than it seems, as he smuggles Nazi gold and other fine items which is what he really makes his profit of. He smuggles refugees into the country or other countries he has in his territory. He smuggles those in need of saving from the harsh environment they are stuck in and takes them to places where take can have a second chance of living peacefully as it’s from the guilt inside him from destroying innocent people who had no choice for the war they were in. He is also a secret informative to the police in London that he snitch on the other criminals in London that he believe should also be behind bars. He is the deceptive’s, Edward Young, favourite informative which he has to wear a mask to hide his identity from Kingsley’s closest friend. Protecting him from both side of his life.
