I can already seeing Ebisu wanting Selene to be her big sister, as her own mother died when she was a baby. She’s never really had a female friend that she really connected to before. Selene would be the first true female friend Ebisu’s ever had.

And before yall ask about Sycamore’s Garchomp, Ebisu considers her to be a mother figure, even more so since after the accident the two can now communicate easier. She calls Sycamore’s Garchomp ‘Mama Gar’//

As the Pokemon smiles at her, Selene feels  a wave of relief. Thank goodness she hadn’t scared them! She’ll have to do a better job of observing her surroundings next time. Normally she was pretty good about that, but her first instinct was to find get warmth from whatever she could. 

She couldn’t help but let a giggle of her own escape her as she thought about the circumstances-a person and a Pokemon both bonding over the less than favorable weather conditions. 

Seeing poor Ebisu shiver, she can’t help but worry. “Ah, here!” Without hesitation, Selene opens her blanket cocoon and gently lays them around Ebisu. She definitely has more than enough to share, and besides, if it came down to a Pokemon and herself, she’d never hesitate to do whatever was best for the Pokemon’s well-being. It’s just the kind of person she is. Now has that put her is some rather dangerous situations? Yes-that and given her a reputation for being quite reckless. Would she ever stop doing so? No, not at all. “I hope that makes things a bit better. Besides, the closer we are, the more warmth we’ll have, yeah?”

“Are you sure your papa won’t mind?” The young woman makes the inquiry with a tilt of her head. “I don’t wanna be a burden.” She could tough out the cold for a little longer, right? If worst came to worse, she could always make a little fire or just call her Bewear out-Carey was surely fluffy enough. Then again, she can’t deny that going somewhere warm and toasty sounded absolutely amazing. Not to mention the mention of snacks-food is her one true weakness, after all. 

“I think I’ll leave it up to you! I don’t want you to be lonely, after all.” 

The human girl sharing her blanket cocoon with Ebisu was so nice... She was flattered that anyone would want to become closer to her like this! Only papa and Alain made the effort to share things with her. 

Not that others did not share with her, but this kind of sharing was something Ebisu thought very intimate. Only close family members did this kind of thing with her.

She hummed happily and snuggled up to Selene, trying to wrap the human up in her blankets as well. Now they would be extra snuggly!

“That is true! The more warmth the better! I just hope I don’t fall asleep on you... I have a tendency to fall asleep when in situations like this.” 

When Selene asked if she would be a burden, the Audino shook her head and gave her a sunny smile.

“You won’t be a burden at all, dear! I simply love friendly company, and I’m sure Papa wouldn’t mind at all. I was just out here to surprise him when he came back from the meeting, but he won’t be surprised that I’m not there to greet him immediately. He knows how much I dislike the cold.”

She started humming happily and patted her new human friend’s head in reassurance.

“But if we’re gonna make it back to my room, we’ll need to get up and move. Goodness knows I’m not a psychic type, and i don’t know teleport either. We’ll have to make a break for it.”

While she was aware that other regions didn’t quite have tropical climate of Alola, this was a bit much for her-especially since the brunette was accustomed to being able to wear shorts and a tank-top everyday. Could she do that in frosty weather like this? Absolutely not. Not without probably becoming a statue of ice. It’d sure make an interesting headline: First Alolan Champion travels to Kalos and freezes in icy weather.

Okay, she’s going to buy the fluffiest jacket she can find later on.

Hazel eyes glance at the source of warmth her body was snuggled against, surprised to find that it wasn’t a person, but a Pokemon. A really cute looking one as well! Oh, she hoped she hadn’t startled them too much! Though, just looking at them, Selene could tell she wasn’t the only one unprepared for the current weather conditions. “Hi there!” She greets softly, offering a warm smile. “Guess we’re both having a tough time, huh?”

The greeting causes Ebisu to smile wider. It was nice to make friends in unexpected places, especially in Snowbelle City, where she could not stand being outside... Unlike other people and pokemon.  

Giving a little nod of agreement, Ebisu let out a small giggle at the circumstances. Here they were, two cold-as-ice ladies trying to keep themselves warm. 

Although she did not recognize the human girl as the Alolan Champion, the people of Snowbelle City knew of Ebisu quite well. Her room in the pokemon center was always nice and toasty warm whenever she arrived.

“Indeed. It seems we are in quite a pickle, friend.”

She says with a shiver. Arceus above, she didn’t know how ice types could stand this type of cold!

“I was waiting for Papa to get out of his meeting with Wulfric, but if you would like to go someplace very toasty warm; my room is always prepared warmer than normal for my comfort. I just hate being alone, so I moved out here despite the temperature difference. Would you like to join me in my room for some warmth and refreshments? I’m sure the Pokemon Center wouldn't mind giving us some drinks and snacks to tide us over till dinner.”

Nope, she refuses to become a Selene-cicle this morning. Despite the fact she’s already bundled in a cocoon of blankets, she’s just going to cuddle the nearest person. 

Said ‘person’ just so happened to be Ebisu. She was not one for the cold either. In fact, when she was human she was known to have poor circulation in her hands and feet that caused them to go numb... then actually throb and hurt badly if she stayed outside in freezing temperatures for too long. This is why she hated Snowbelle city. It was just too cold for her to tolerate.

The Audino had warm mittens and socks on her hands and feet, plus five different blankets wrapped around her as she struggled to keep her body in the warmth. 

The sudden cuddling made her jump slightly, but she still smiled softly at the trainer that had decided to cuddle up against her. More heat to share and keep them both comfortable then.

She just hoped that the weather would get warmer soon... She hated the cold...

Happy-go-lucky but also very shy, Ebisu is not an Audino you want to mess with. She is extremely loyal to her family and friends, but only if they’ve gained her trust. She is very cautious around Lysandre and prefers to be in contact with different kinds of pokemon.

History:

Born three years after Alain, Ebisu was once a human who strived to help other humans and pokemon. She mainly worked in Sycamores lab, and was very shy around new faces. For some reason, Lysasndre always scared her. Maybe it was because he was really tall, but she always made herself scarce when the family friend came over unless asked to join the conversation.

She didn’t want to hurt his feelings, but something just scared her to the point of tears around Lysandre. He was very friendly, but often he seemed to have a darker side that made Ebby nervous. 

When the whole incident with Team Flare erupted, she isolated herself from even her father and brother and poured herself into researching fairy types. Her favorite Pokemon only gained a fairy typing upon mega evolution, but that’s what intreguied her the most. Living like an Audino was what she strived to be. Friendly and caring to all, but ready to fight and defend if necessary.

While her father and brother were out, Ebisu decided to clean some of the testing machines in the lab. As she was cleaning, there was a power malfunction that locked her in the room with the machines. They flared to life and fired beams of energy at Ebisu, who screamed loud enough for the staff to hear. They knew there had been a power malfunction, but were not aware that Ebisu had been cleaning the equipment at the time.

With no success in breaking down the door, they called Sycamore. He was out to lunch with Diantha at the time, and upon hearing that his daughter was trapped in one of the lab rooms with malfunctioning equipment he rushed back to the lab. Diantha offered to help, and with her Gardevior’s assistance the lab was able to turn off the malfunctioning machines and open the door.

Due to the power being cut from the room, it was dark. Sycamore called out his daughter’s name, and only heard a small cry of pain in response. With little regards to his safety he rushed forward, seeing only a different colored Audino. He knelt down to it, talking softly. Asking if the Audino had seen Ebisu. 

What shocked him was the Audino saying she was Ebisu. Apparently she had no idea that she had been transformed into a Pokemon. Sycamore took his daughter out of the room and immediately to the hospital. There his suspicions were confirmed. His little Ebby had been transformed into a Shiny Audino. 

 Though besides the cosmetic change, Ebby was the same as she always was. In fact, she seemed to perk up much more often then she used to. Sycamore gave her an Audinite as an apology for not being there, but Ebby told him it was okay. No one could really see that coming, so she was not mad at him or Alain for not coming to her aid.

With becoming a pokemon, she also learned how to speak to and understand what they were saying. 

Now she helps her father at the lab with anything she can, while also learning how to be a pokemon. It’ll be a hard road, but she knows she can get through it!

first of all, Ebisu is a pokemon. i will not be engaging in sexual relationships or romantic ships with any humans!

in regards to my rule above, pokemon or other animal-like creatures who want to ship romantically are perfectly fine to ask. most of the time i may actually ship it too!

i only ship with chemistry! please respect this!

there are other types of ships besides romantic ones! if your muse would like to befriend Ebisu or be a rival or whatever then tell me! humans are free to request these kinds of ships with me. i just don’t do romantic ships with humans. sorry guys…

please don’t godmod! i try not to make my character super powerful and neither should you. it makes the rping less fun!

please don’t infomod either! infomodding for those who don’t know is when your character knows things about another character that they shouldn’t. it may be in my about page, but those are for the muns to see and understand. unless our characters already have an established relationship, do not assume your character knows anything about Ebisu, thank you!

mun has a life outside or tumblr too! if i do not respond immediately to any threads please do not pester me. start reminding me a few days after your initial reply. i may have forgotten about it, or tumblr might have not notified me. i may also be working on it, but it is taking me a bit.

please be patient with me on reply speed as i have said in the rule above. i am not a fast writer and can get distracted easily.
