"Excellent, now how would you like to sign?" the imposing male figure asks, looking down at me through his glasses.
I give him a questioning look. "What to you mean?"
"Are we use blood or ink?" he asks, still looking at me with pricing eyes.
I gulp, "Ink." I murmur, no longer meeting his eyes.
He smiles slightly, "Alright. Now, what are you willing to give?" he asks.
I breathe out. Meetings always go like this.
"I'm willing to give my first born girl and the two animals of my home." I state, slightly looking up. "Of the new life."
He looks at me and gives a broad, encouraging smile. "Alright, sign your name on the dotted line."
He roles out the parchment to me. With a deep breathe, I start to sign my name.
Be careful. They warned. You never know with him.
It's always dangerous to make a deal with the devil.
