Religion doesn’t excuse violence or make it more ethical

It saddens me how the world is right now especially Israel’s genocide (yes genocide because when one part has the weapons and the other side is being starved and tortured with no food source without risking dying for it and the side with the weapons actively killing population for killing then yes it’s genocide. It’s not war because that means that Israel is actively fighting back wich they aren’t)

I hate how quiet these governments are and not more support given for humanitarian missions and the mistreatment Palestine experienced at the hands of Israel. Remember many of the current jews in Israel’s ancestors migrated to hat used to be Palestinian land. Those who experienced torture at the hands of nazis would cry and feel empathy towards Palestinians as they know what inhumane treatment are like. When did people forget the facism that jews experienced. Yes I compare the treatment of Palestinians to the general similar treatment jews experienced by nazis. Namely living in fear everyday, torture, inhumane treatment and knowing they will be killed if found or try escaping. The prison the current humanitarians are being held at is WIDELY known to not treat their prisoners humanely. Israel calling everything that wants to aid the country in need (that is suffering) associated with hamas. How long do they think they can use it as an excuse. This will stain the reputation of Israel for a long time like Germany experienced. I recognise holocaust genocide was more widespread in a time where racial biology where studied and practiced. These events are not the same scale but it’s hard to come up in holocaust numbers where even if they eradicated every human in there they would not come up in these numbers and there are widespread laws preventing extreme torture or labour camps like the experiments on jews and probably never or won’t in at least a long term time. But there are likenesses in general treatment. For example

-Greater israel and the greater Germanic reich

-Calling a group of people terrorist vs hitler blaming jews

-Torturing and actively killing folkgroups (Palestinians-israel and jews and other miniorities-nazi germany)

-spreading propaganda like how much aid they provided to Gaza, the treatment of humanitarian workers like these sumud flotilla. Sprayed goods are not usable. There are even a video that says the prisoners will pay for it. when evidence prove otherwise.

-Censur people that stand up for the oppressed

I pray for the people of Palestine and for Israel to stop this genocide and realise what they did wrong. As someone once said, when does the victim become a perpetrator.

Israel should have nothing to fear if netty petty is innocent. If he hasn’t committed any crime then why avoid countries where he has an arrest warrant. Why do he not take it upp with the international court if he can prove himself innocent as it’s proven innocent until guilty?. If they where not committing any crime They would not arrest people on INTERNATIONAL water which is against the international law agreement. Why did they make that one video.

I am also disappointed in my country’s lack of involvement in bringing Greta Thunberg a PEACEFUL activist and the other activists home. They should be ashamed not being more involved in these times. I feel such pride for the swedes brave enough to make the trip and proud of being in the same generation as great Thunberg. I am ashamed for being a swede and proud at the same time at this moment because there are swedes that stand up for human rights like Greta Thunberg. She sat sail knowing she might experience torture at the second interception of the boat. And that she would be singled out because of her vocality and previous participation but did it anyway. I pray for safe return of these activists and Greta Thunberg if she will come home at all that she isn’t in a bad condition when and if she return to the homeland.

I feel disgust that people like Israel’s government members like Itamar Ben Gvir who has said he is proud of the activist receiving inhumane treatment.

Two wrongs does not make a right! and does not excuse terrorist behaviour. No matter your stance on who is right or wrong we as people living in 2025 should know better and stand for that NO ONE deserve such treatment. No one should be ”proud” of treating human beings like how palestinians and the activist where treated. It disgust me that things like this are still going on. And you don’t use a massacre as a shield. Ensuring and wanting to provide aid in a peaceful manner aren’t antisemitism neither does it mean association with specific groups of people. Denying people basic rights is never okay. NEVER in no circumstance considered okay.

I pray the conflict will end soon and the people responsible for breaking law will be put to justice. Also for the brainwashed people of Israel that believe this kind of violence is justified to realise the truth and push back and make change as the biggest change right now must come prom the population as Israel’s government body will continue with what they are doing right now. Do not look away and let what your government is doing to overshadow what the country has experienced in the past. Show that you stand for human rights and what’s right and push back. If people of Nepal has the strength and ability to push back so can you.

I hope every activist will return home safe and the safety of the people of Palestine and that the blockade will be broken soon 🇵🇸.

Sorry for the politically loaded post but I had to vent somewhere. As me and my sister are currently the only people in my family that are pro Palestine💔. Yes I am not afraid to say my family generally dislike religious people, non heterosexuals and immigrants. And it’s difficult being the only religious queer and asexual person in my family and receive scrutiny for it. (My sister are little more accepting and not racist, religiophobic( to a certain extent) or etnophobic and she is queer. She is not against religion but doesn’t understand why I am religious. I get scrutinised especially by my mom who despite claiming socialist views are very nationalist leaning. She doesn’t believe in asexuality and lacking physical attraction means there is something wrong with you. She is try it enough times and you will understand, you won’t know until you tried it. )Thus I pray for every person in need and for those who go through difficult times. People in need deserve sympathy. My heart goes out to them all. Especially as I experienced abuse given adhd medication that made me depressed and hallucinating. Physical as well as severe psychological abuse that in some cases depending on who you ask can be defined as psychological child torture. I experienced such treatment since I was seven at the hands of my mother until I was 17. I am 22 and still healing from the trauma, I read my suicide letters from my attempts to remember how far I have come in my recovery when I feel like things are never changing. And yes my mom still thinks I was a difficult lying problematic little shit who’s life mission was to hurt her( her words translated to English “en ljugande problematisk och hemsk unge som sattes på jorden för att krossa mig”) and it’s not even a fraction as bad as what probable terrors Palestinians and their children as well as other oppressed people around the world go through. Nobody deserve bad treatment like Palestinians experience not even my mom If I had money I would donate, if I wasn’t as sick physically I would participate in demonstrations but unfortunately it’s not the case💔

I wasn’t suppose to write so much about my own trauma but here you go. Even if I get massive unfollowing for these opinions I wanted to do what I can in these times as I am not well of economically and physically enough to be an active participant like the humanitarians that’s in prison right now. But what I can do is help spread the message to someone who has that ability.
