I am doing well!!! (As well as an American can be doing at a time like this I suppose 😭)

But I can’t tell you how happy I am to get a messege like this!! I honestly didn’t think people cared about my little comic so thank you!!

I’ve spent a lot of time in the last year learning CSP (I was previously using procreate exclusively and it’s reaallly not built for making comics lol) and have a good enough grasp on it that I’ve been slowly working on more of “From Open Sky” :))

Got sad about us never seeing Nona again but then started thinking about possible Nona-isms that Alecto might have……. Please, Tamsyn… let Nona haunt the narrative too PLEASE

I’ll get down from my soap box in a sec but just imagine with me:

Alecto has already been haunting the narrative as this scary and mysterious ghost. We see bits of her from Harrow’s perspective (We don’t even know if these bits are actually Alecto or just Harrow’s hallucinated ideas of her) as well as the mentioned memories that Jon and the other Lyctors have of her. we’re never given a direct view of Alecto, only formed opinions of her.

Then we get Nona, whose mind is disconnected from Alectos lived experiences, and who is now allowed this comfort and innocence and LOVE from Cam/Pal and Pyrrha. Like surely that doesn’t go away. You can’t take back LOVED.

Alecto may very well be this “monster” that everyone makes her out to be, but the time she was Nona is still there. I’m imagining reading ATN and still being able to see Nona in between the pages. Tamsyn has such a way of letting a presence be felt even if they’re not physically there and I NEED to feel Nona in there 😭😭
