tbh many people say they're supportive of facial differences when they're really really not. i think its worth really reflecting on how you react to facial differences. like do it now. do it this week. what context you see people with facial differences in usually. how do you feel. and if that feeling is negative that's an association you must break. it can be broken and it should be and every person with a face difference is owed the basic regard of their humanity that people without a face difference gets to take for granted

My name is Aya… I am a mother trying to protect my children, but I feel like I’m losing my strength day by day.

Last night, a powerful storm destroyed our shelter completely. We stood in the freezing cold, my children shaking, crying, soaked and terrified, and I couldn’t protect them or even keep them warm.

It breaks my heart that I can no longer provide the simplest things… not enough food, no proper clothing, no safe place to sleep.

Her whole family, her baby, her husband, her husband's mother, are in mortal danger from the bombings. And her 1-year-old baby is in a respirator; he has very dangerous lung cancer. She needs to pay $5,200 more before the 1st of July to get the family out of Gaza, so the baby can receive proper treatment and her other loved ones can be safe. My friend doesn't have that money.
