This is a guy who’s won two Stanley Cups, Olympic gold, WC gold, WJC gold, Conn Smythe, Selke, etc. etc….and this is still how he reacts to a practice shot going in or not.

I can actually attest to this - in practice (for me at least), it’s a lot more frustrating because that’s the place you’re supposed to be improving, and then showing it off in a game. practice is where you grind to get better, and when you’re not getting there or when somethings not clicking, it gets me very, very angry. there are many times I can remember me yelling at a teammate, or throwing a ball harder than expected. when you’re competitive and when you want to gain progress and it’s not happening, it frustrates you. but when it goes good, you feel good, pretty much that’s self explainatory :)
