A lot is happening with this COVID-19 pandemic, as most of England is going into tier 4. With schools closed until the 11th of January, what does everyone think? As all students education is important because In March to September some GCSEs were called off. Will this be the case again in 2021? Reply with your views!
Yubo update:
Since the 02/10/2020 I received an email back, as a few selected people know what the email was about. The email was sent out on the 06/09/2020 yubo support team replied on the 02/10/2020, this is still on going at the moment as I’m getting more concerned with the app. “Yes” they have stepped down on most things, but they have a long way to go yet.
It’s amazing how people get away with a lot of things in the app it self, I’ve been in the app since last year. I have meet some lovely and wonderful people on their so don’t get me wrong, but the app doesn’t make their ads engaging (making it fun and more eye catching). I’ve noticed that the ads are the same also repeated to. For example:
Person “A” : hey do you want to come to the beach with me?
Person “B” : I can’t I’m live streaming with my new friends on yubo.
Person “A” : yubo?
Person “B” : yeah yubo is an app where you can meet new people all Over the world.
I see this kind of advert on tiktok a lot, yubo need to make the ads more engaging. They also don’t state that in app subscription are in operation in the ads. They only state this on the app stall but some people have been made to get the subscription version of the app. As some also said when some people try to verify them selfs they get declined because of the equality act 2010. someone who I know did comment on the report/feedback which I sent to yubo support team. Some questions which I can answer for you:

Can I join yubo at 16? “Yes” as long your age 13 and Over with a parent or ligal gardens permission as they stall data about you. The app states in the App Store that you should be 17+.
Can I meet some nice people on the app? “Yes” you can meet some lovely and amazing people within the app, but there’s some people who are not very nice. Some of the people joke about things which are inappropriate etc.
What does the support team do? This support team are there to help youse with any questions you may have about your account, verify your account and etc.
What does the safety team do? The safety team just help people with any safety concerns you may have, this can relate to the following for example bullying, or a person being really inappropriate towards someone else. As yubo clams the safety team works around the emails 24/7, but as I said they taken 3 weeks and 5 days to respond. Think about it this way, “Snapchat is a well known social network. How many people use Snapchat and if you emailed them, that get back to you within 7 days” Yubo on the other hand takes a while, why’s this? Let’s think about this... (comment what you may think)
What are the benefits of the app? The benefits of the app is meant to be making new friends, but most of the time this is not the case. People think this is a dating app! But is it? “NO” it’s not, as people done this and things has turned out to be really sour and bitter. they should be really allowing this to happen in my best option, but respecting the community is at my highest point and I wish people the best. Can I have feelings for someone this within the app? “Yes” you can, but my advice would be DON’T ask them out just yet; meet them in person before getting closer to that person. This advice is only because I’ve seen people go out with other my via social media, and she or he takes away the other persons “rights”. Taking someone’s rights away and limiting them is actually illegal in some cases but not all.
Is yubo an app where bullying happens? “Yes” depends on the people who you hang around with within the app, don’t get me wrong but I’ve met some lovely and amazing people on there. Yes bullying can take place on any kind of social network platforms, but yubo is one of the app where it gets to a point. This is why yubo takes bullying really seriously, so please do report any kind of inappropriate behaviour on there.
This app has been mind blowing, it’s help me to gain knowledge on what people can say verbally. This app is the place where bullying does happen, on the app there’s so much more.

After 3 weeks and 5 days of waiting, yubo has officially responded. Thank you to yubo app for the response! I’m really happy with the response which was received, helping the community is one of Yubo’s biggest priority. Please if anyone is exspirancing difficulty like any kind of discrimination please contact the support channel of the app. They also appreciate any kind of feedback which people may have.
Yubo is an app where you can make new friends, but there’s positive and negative things about this app. First of all I am grateful for all of the new people who I’ve got to know within this app, honestly I am happy for this. The only downfalls with this app is when something is said information gets changed or added, so for example if you said something about etc. People will add information into it so it makes it a big issue when it’s really not. There’s also been false information by reporting people, to be really honest I’ve seen this for my self. It’s not good that accounts get banned for no reason what so ever, bullying is also a big problem within this app. I’ve got onto this app by via email about certain things, the email has sent but no reply. The email was sent out on 06/09/2020 - 12:42, I’ve should of had an email by now for an official app (which they claim to be the best) but yet when you send Snapchat an email they reply back within the seven days. I will keep youse updated with the email and what they say within the email.
My strongest opinion would be if you get this app to be really careful with the people who you socialise with, within this app. Please note updates will be on my Twitter account whilst following it up on here to. Yubo hasn’t replied yet to the following email, if this gets 289 likes I will post videos of what happens. Also I will be giving story time of what happens to, even though I will share with what’s happened in my experience, the “app is not safe” oh no... I forgot to mention that the email information will be posted on here to get the message around with what, how, and where things go. I’ve looked into the app, for additional information please message me on here...
