Hi there! I'm Brie, a transfem artist and writer living in Aotearoa, and I like drawing anything related to my TTRPG characters, trans people, sci-fi, and fantasy stuff <3
Here are some examples!
my old online name was "BenjiBo", which i don't go by anymore, but, any art before the beginning of 2023 will have that as a signature as a heads up :)
The main tag I use for all my art is "#bri art", which should include only singular posts and none of the reblogs I use for bumping.
i use tags for posts with my ocs, but I'll keep all that info below the cut.
all my art now has tags for if a recurring character of mine pops up in case anyone wants to look through and find all the things ive done with em, so ive got a little directory here that ill use for keeping up with that
---
Maxine (She/Her) | tag "bri oc: maxine"
my original blorbo and first trans OC (if im not counting that one time i went feral over a headcanon with my elden ring character), she's gone through a bunch of name changes, which looked like Bridgette -> Brianne -> Maxine, so that's why my old art refers to her by a different name
currently planning a novella/short novel with her as the main character! chipping away at it in my free time :)
---
Anya (She/Her) | tag "bri oc: anya"
another transfem oc, and my first proper pathfinder character. I wrote a whole short story about her realizing she's trans that you can find somewhere on my profile or here (It was the first story I've ever managed to finish, and that shows I think, I can write a lot better now but it's still a cute little thing) her hair changes colors with her emotions because i think its a fun thing to draw
---
Belladonna, or Bel for short (She/They) | tag "bri oc: bel"
my tiefling ttrpg character, and, surprise! also trans. paired up with a friends OC, so there's a few quicker doodles i've done with them being gay. they're my high-femme OC who i put in all the outifts i'd like to wear, and one of my most favourite characters to draw. her tail emotes like a cats :)
---
that's all i have for now but i'll update this as i design and draw new characters, cheers
❝everyone wants things from me and I don’t mind— I want to help. but I’m just so tired.❞
The Cheshire Cat frowned, quiet for a bit - probably longer than she should've been - before walking over and wrapping her arms around the Fae Queen. She could understand the sentiment; her entire life lately had been running from a responsibility thrust upon her, and then the consequences that came from actually solving the core of that responsibility. She might not be the Cheshire Cat on paper anymore, but that didn't change the looks she got back in Underland, or the tug that she felt whenever she hopped between worlds to go back where she "belongs".
Tegan understood the weight of power, and how impossible it was to put it down.
"You're free to rest with me. I'll never ask anything of you, Ellyn." It was a lie-- Tegan didn't have that much restraint. "Missed you, luv."
“Hmm, well...If you ever want to borrow some half-Fae witchlings, let me know. I’m sure they’ll tire you right the fuck out.” Ellyn snorted a little laugh at that and took her time stroking along Tegan’s back and hips a bit; nuzzling her as much as she could. The Fae Queen was just soaking up the moment with her missing lover and gave silent thanks to whatever deities were listening for bringing her back. Even if she had a million questions to ask.
When Tegan asked her if she was high then, she cackled and shook her head; grinning down at her. “Gods, no. I’m not high now, silly. I’m just saying the last time I saw you, I was high...And Probably hallucinating your presence, too. I’d only realized it when I’d woken up and you weren’t in bed beside me. Your scent was gone and so were your clothes, so I knew I’d hallucinated the night before--sadly.”
Pouting a little, she tried to ignore the memory and how it made her chest tight; heart hurting and a spell of grief and loneliness to follow. She had to shake her head a bit to help clear the thoughts and emotions away when Tegan curled up closer and commented on that nickname. “True, darling. But, it isnt’ the size of your breasts that the name came about, remember? It was the adorable pouty face most of all.” Then she leans down to nudge Tegan’s nose with her own and smirked. “Besides, I rather fancy your adorable petite tits.”
"Ellyn," Tegan said with as much seriousness as she could muster while drowning in the bliss her Queen practically spoiled her with, "I have personally trained over 50 Cats into semi-respectable Cheshire Knights. If I can handle their dumbasses, I can handle some adorable witchlings~" She paused then, partly to purr, partly to think of something. "They don't know how to teleport, do they? Cuz if so, I might have to retract my statement."
The loud cackle shook her from whatever vibe she was sinking into, but she settled back down to listen to Ellyn and... honestly, it hurt to hear. Because while it didn't sound like something she'd do, that didn't necessarily mean another Tegan wouldn't. And with how much Madder things with her other selves had gotten, she couldn't trust that her lover was just having a vivid hallucination. She nestled into Ellyn's chest and squeezed her tighter. "I'm sorry," the words stung her tongue, but she didn't have many other things she could say.
At least Ellyn was as quick to bounce back as she was; maybe that was why they got along so well. No matter how they clashed or meshed, they'd never be far from something fresh and exciting. She smiled a bit as she peeked up at Ellyn, thinking about how staying with her really wasn't too different from Traveling... ...
So why did she leave?
Before she could dwell on that question, Ellyn was drawing her in further, until she could all but taste her breath and they were bumping noses. She couldn't help it: the woman made her smile a wide, Cheshire grin. "Calling me adorable twice and complimenting my chest in practically the same breath? Ellyn, if you're gonna seduce me, there are easier ways. Like, "Hey Tegan, serve your Queen" - that one tends to work pretty well."
Tegan had her tongue stuck out one corner of her mouth, focused mostly wiping away blood and patching Arone up; too focused for her usual quips and banter for about 15 seconds, at the least. "More or less. Smoke shape means the only things that hit were the spells. No blood, just burns, which... alright, admittedly, ow."
As she finished up, she pursed her lips together before looking up into those green eyes. "You didn't have to do that-- not that I'm not thankful, I am... But I don't like seeing my friends get hurt for my sake."
"Ah, yeah, that can hurt like a bitch. I have stuff to help if you need it." Arone replies, brow furrowing with concern as glances at towards her, searching her as best she can but making sure not to move too much until she's finished.
Once she is finished, though, she turns more towards Teagan and gives her a softer smile. "I did it because I wasn't about to let you get hurt. Helping you is worth a couple scratches." She pats her arm gently, then smirks playfully. "Besides, can't help if I want to show off a little, you know?"
Her rebuttal to Arone’s comment is enough to earn a chuckle from the redhead. She may not know what exactly Teagan does, but she can make some guesses, given how often she’s found her in trouble. “I mean, they probably don’t try for murder just because of your green-”
Her response cuts short as Teagan opens the pouch, the levity in her face vanishing in an instant. She glances inside for only a moment before reaching out quickly, not removing the object from Teagan’s grasp but clenching it shut. “Yeah, that sure is...”
Her mind moves through all the probable reasons she can think of that someone would have a heart in a pouch on their belt, and, as one might imagine, none of them are good. “You know, out of all of the possible things that could have been in there, that is one of the more disturbing things we could have found. I’m feeling less conflicted about killing that guy, though.”
The Cheshire had zero issues with the bag being closed up by her friend. Honestly, she was still a little too shocked to really react beyond muttering, "Yep, it totally is. A heart. In a bag..." The corner of her lips twitched as the sheer ridiculousness of the situation almost made her laugh.
That or the nerves were doing it.
"Right? I mean... I guess it could've been full of eyeballs or, I dunno, something like... eyes," she finished lamely, still holding the pouch and very much debating what to do with it. Fire was the first thought, certainly, but she realized quickly that would just mean they'd have a heart on fire and, while kind of romantic, it was mostly just horrifying, even by her standards. "So, wanna just... leave the pouch on the dead guy, pretend we saw nothing, and go find something to drink?"
❝everyone wants things from me and I don’t mind— I want to help. but I’m just so tired.❞

Truthfully, it had been a while since she’d been in this house outside of a light cleaning spell and to check her mail every few months. But, Tegan caught her on a much-needed personal vacation form Faery and most queenly duties. Perhaps they were both lucky in that regard. Ellyn smiled more when her favourite Cat tucked into her neck a bit more and nosed her temple with a soft sigh. “It’s been a good while since I had adult-oriented fluff, Tea. And, to be fair, there’s only so much adorableness I can handle with my nieces and nephews on hand before they make me want to smother them in their sleep.”
Snickering softly, she hums a little after Tegan shifts in to press flush against her; letting her hands slowly smooth up and down her back but not quite tempted to travel below her petite waist. The motions still when Tegan stammers off in the middle of a sentence and she smirks more before carding her fingers through her hair. “While, it’s true a bed woudl be better for sinful shenanigans, I’m still just content to holds you and savor your return like this at the moment...Ask me for whatever you want in a bit, darling. Just let me have this long enough to make sure I’m not hallucinating on questionable edibles I got from a gnome again--then I can go back to calling you my ‘titty-kitty’ and aggravating you as much as possible.”
The Cat drank in any and all affection, purrs getting louder until Ellyn's speech gave her a reason to try and control herself. She was content to bask in the fae's presence forever, but she couldn't just leave her hanging. "M'sorry. I can't relate; never around adorable kittens long enough to feel anything but vaguely maternal. Either I wanna strangle 'em at first blush, or I wanna play with them until I can't move."
Still, the thoguht of Ellyn? Smothering some kids? It made the Cat giggle lightheartedly, with the sound melting into deeper purrs; this woman knew how to play her like a fiddle. "M-mmm... You're right. This is really nice... ... Wait." She tried to sit up to stare Ellyn in the face. "Are you high right now? Oh my Cat. You-- aaaand you've remembered that nickname, I see. Pffft."
She flopped down against Ellyn and cuddled into her all the more possessively. "Y'know, considering how much smaller mine are compared to yours, that nickname really dosn't fit~"

Needing to get some money Arone can get. She gets the feeling her line of work is a little more above board than Tegan’s (as much as ‘wandering sellsword’ is above board), but even for her money is an imperative at times. Figuring out the dates is a new one from her, though, and she can’t help but wonder what she could mean by that...
She doesn’t press, though, honestly more interested in the altercation she had helped with for the moment. “Tegan, you know you got to check on these things. Rich assholes and dangerous mages can look really similar sometimes.” Her tone is less truly admonishing, and more just friendly teasing, even if her point is a good one. “Just losing a coin pouch or something wouldn’t be worth the lightshow he was popping off at you, though. He wasn’t trying to get his pouch back, he was trying to kill you. Wanna find out why?”
Tegan realized, as she usually did, she probably had never told Arone what she was. Then again, there was usually a good reason for that, but... She frowned briefly as she tossed the sack around idly. "Probably best to tell friends," she muttered under her breath, before shrugging. Later.
The Cat put up her hands in mock surrender, but at least she had the good sense to be somewhat sheepish-looking when scolded by the other woman. "You're right, you're right! It was an obvious blunder, but I blundered right into it anyway~" Though, she did find that odd. There were plenty of magical methods (probably) that could hold her (probably not~), but going straight for murder? That... "To be fair, you'd be surprised how many people jump straight for the "murder the girl with the funny green hair" approach. But you're right! Let's~"
She opened the bag for both of them to see, and immediately wished she hadn't, given the... smell. "That is a heart."

She could admit to being a selfish brat quite easily and has done so before countless times. In fact, she and Tegan often times used to annoy each other to the point of exhaustion. However, the makeups were always lovely. While her darling Cheshire had been gone for so long, she had to content herself with having her nieces and nephews help indulge her mischievous side. Tegan’s near nonstop purring reminded her of small boat motor in some ways and she couldn’t help but grin more as she spoke. “Well then, consider me glad that we’re clearly on the same page, darling.”
Her ears definitely picked up that mewl sound, but she left it alone to sit back a bit more on the couch when Tegan decided the bed was too far away. A little wiggling gave way to finding a more comfortable position before her lap is full of Cat and that smoke lingers around them. It was reflex to have her arms drape over the younger female’s waist and she nodded at those words. “Aye, won’t be too hard to manage that one. Though I do reserve the right to lay down on the couch if your adorable purring makes me drowsy.”
If only Tegan had such luck with mischief. Really, it was a lot of running for her life, figuring out the mechanics of other worlds, and generally just trying to continue existing in a multiverse that sometimes preferred she didn't. It made coming back to Ellyn's world that much easier; she'd craved comfort and, in her exhaustion, all but fell into the Fae Queen's home. Tegan tucked her face up against her favorite mutual annoyance's throat, smiling against her skin. "I'm glad. It's a wonderful page, with lots of gay fluff, apparently~."
All too happy to move with Ellyn rather than cling to her, Tegan didn't waste any time in pressing as close to her as she could. "Prrrr~! ... Ahem, that soundds fine to me. I mean, the bed would be better for that... but it's so far away, and we're here already, and you're...," she started to speak, failed to, before nuzzling into Ellyn's shoulder. "Ellyn, this is usually a sorta dangerous topic, but I've fucking missed you and you are just... a comfort to be around and delicious in every sense of the word an-and so fucking hot.
"I'm not asking for anything, I swear, just... I've missed you, even the parts I complained about sometimes."
Tegan tilts her head, then gently cups the beautiful, muscular human's face, all the love in the world in the Cat's eyes. "Jaqi, my dear, my luv, my lovely les-bean? Dying for someone is easy," she purrs happily, before squishing those cheeks and narrowing her eyes. "Staying alive is much, much harder. If you die on me, I will carve my way into the afterlife, grab your soul, and drag it screaming back to the mortal realm. Okay? Okay~"
An arm coiled around the cat's waist only to tug her backward into a strong and tall body. Fang's approach had been stealthy hoping to get a drop on the cat.
"You've been missed."
Maybe she was losing her touch, maybe her inner Cat thought the alternative to the usual would be funny; whatever the reason, Tegan was spooked by the Yun woman, enough that she squeaked out and shifted one hand to have claws--
Until the familiar scent and voice hit her like a pillow. Tegan let out a sigh of relief and leaned into Fang's front. "You charmer... I think I can forgive you for nearly scaring the piss out of me just now~."
"I mean I could, but I'm not gonna," Tegan purred into Xu's ear, hugging the woman from behind. "Were the roles reversed, you'd be the one holding me. Only difference is I wouldn't complain~"
She kept her tone casual and her grip loose, but the Cat was bristling behind her. Whatever had happened to warrant it had raised Tegan's hackles, and the woman wasn't going to let go of her friend until she was sure they were safe.
"Bullshit," Tegan growled out as she tried to stand back up, green smoke and electricity clinging to her body. "I can still fight, and I'm not about to lose to anyone of these Cocoonian sons of bitches-- nnghoh fuck." She barely got upright before collapsing back down, her magic fading rapidly. The look she shot fang was hostile, but she couldn't hold it for long; a few seconds was all she had in her before she sighed and slumped fully against the wall behind her.
"... We really need to stop meeting like this, Fang," she grumbled out, sounding frustrated beyond measure. "You keep finding me like this, and I might finally start to believe you're a trouble magnet."
Her clothes were riddled with holes, but the wounds behind them looked minor at best, like she'd gotten better at dealing with the weapons this world had to offer, but there was a bleeding cut on her forehead she was trying to ignore. "My magic reserves are nearly tapped. If you hadn't shown up when you did, I'd have been screwed... ... Hey, weird question; how long has it been since we last saw each other?"
❝everyone wants things from me and I don’t mind— I want to help. but I’m just so tired.❞

How she missed her sassy little Cat’s purrs and warm hugs. Ellyn’s hard pressed to try not to just pull her into her lap and take full advantage of the couch she’s sitting on. A low hum fills her before she returns those purrs while nuzzling her. There was something unique about Tegan’s scent that made her inner dragon quite content and helped soothe her. Though her words make her snicker and she leans her head in a bit more to press her cheek against hers. “Small ones for now, please. After a while I know you won’t be able to help yourself and that’s more than alright with me.”
The Fae Queen snorts a little laugh then Tegan admits to not turning down her cuddles and presses a soft kiss to the corner of her lips as she pulls back a little and meets her gaze. “Sweetheart, I’m not in the bratty mood just yet. But, give e time. I’m sure it’ll reappear with you around...More importantly, cuddles on the couch or in bed?”
The Cheshire Cat did her damnedest to not let the beautiful seductive dizzying comforting Fae Queen's reciprocations melt her too badly, really, she was. But no amount of reminding herself that was was a strong, independant feline whose beheaded tyrants and toppled dragons could spare her from Ellyn. Her scent, her purrs, the feeling of her cheek rubbing against her; all of it stirred a gooey warmth in her that had her hugging herself closer to the woman, purring up a storm as she did. "You know me too well... Thankfully, the only thing I want out of you is... this. What's happening right now."
A soft mewl slipped out of her at the kiss, soft and chaste as it was, but it was more than enough to make her forget herself and get lost in Ellyn's eyes. "M'glad that I inspire you so, then... Mm. Bed's further away, and I don't think I can trust myself on a bed with you right now." Her grip loosened as suddenly Tegan's shape shifted, becoming more smoke than flesh and bone, all so she could step out of her shoes and move to straddle Ellyn's lap. As she relooped her arms around the Queen's neck, smoke still clung to her, making her scent even stronger. "Do you mind keeping me right here?"
At least on the surface, Tegan looks fine - no holes in her clothes, no obvious wounds. If she hadn't mentioned it, it'd be hard to believe she was hurt at all. "Tempting, but that is sort of the downside of taking a hit that sorta goes threw you. Burned both side, and a little bit in between," she pulled away with smile. "All done."
... The Cat wanted to pout, but honestly? That was the exact kind of reasoning she'd give for putting herself in harm's way. Plus, it was sort of her own fault anyway. "Okay, okay, I won't complain... Especially cuz you did look pretty cool there~ It's good to see you, Arone."
Arone can't help but frown at Teagan's description of the effect of the fire spell on her. In all honesty, it sounds awful, and she resolves to keep an eye on her for any signs of the injury. For the moment, though she pushes that away and brings her smile back. "Thanks. It's good to see you to."
She gently works the areas where the cuts are located, not even wincing at any pain at this point. To say she has had worse would be an understatement, after all. "How'd you even get those guys so mad anyway? I mean, I know pissing off assholes is basically a full time hobby of yours, but getting a mage that angry is a bold way to spend an evening."
She caught the frown, of course, and tried her best to look sheepish; like she hadn't just said that she had burns on the inside of her body right now. Still, if her favorite warrior was willing to push past it, so was Tegan. "Ehehe, about that... See, i'm sort of "back in town"," yes, she did the air quotes. "and so I needed to get some money, figure out the dates; you know, basic stuff for me!" She paused.
Did she tell Arone what she was? ... She did, right? "Fluff, uh, put a pin in that! Anyway, so I sorta kinda robbed the richest looking guy I could bump into! ... It wasn't until after that I smelled the magic on him. He really wanted what was in this little pouch here." The Cat dug around in her jacket pockets until she pulled out a small leather sack.
//Yo, real quick: Did not die. Just got distracted by fanfic, friends, and anime. Also some BS involving my teeth. Anyway, gonna try to knock out some replies, thanks y'all for being you <3
