The Apple II, an 8-bit home computer designed primarily by Steve Wozniak, was one of the world's first successful mass-produced microcomputers. Launched in 1977, it marked Apple's first foray into personal computers aimed at consumers. The Apple II, Commodore PET 2001, and TRS-80 formed the "1977 Trinity" of home computing, with Apple II standing out due to its color graphics capabilities. This innovation led to the redesign of the Apple logo to feature a spectrum of colors. The Apple II series included several compatible models, with production ending in 1993 for the last model, the Apple IIe.
kunio-kun as a franchise is so nutty because the original arcade game diverged into a weird home-only side series that quickly devolved into Not-Kunio time travelling and beating the shit out of captain caveman knockoffs.
like you think that the period plays and the constant sports would be jumping the shark for a japanese delinquent series, and then you have British Studio Ocean Software barging in with this.
divergent evolution at work. everything said and done, it would rule if they remade this as a proper kunio-kun title, if only because i think japanese delinquent time travel is an unfulfilled niche.
