In my experience of approaching World of Darkness/Chronicles of Darkness, I found out that there should be a certain time period of you processing one of the games upon learning because it's like, girl, you need to process the philosophical, moral and existential implications and also your rage and anger at the antagonistic group/force (that's most likely a form of elites or other powerful individuals) that turns people's life into literal hell, before going to another more complicated and depressing game
