Reblog this if youâre pro-receiving a brown paper package containing one (1) handwritten love letter, a small jar of strawberry jam from the farmers market, and a smattering of pressed flowers.
The Self has downed several bottles of wine in one sitting.
And is definitely the kind of person to stick out leggy real far
//rough sketch but there they are! The self welcoming you to the revelries!

Send me the name of a character and Iâll say the first words that come to mind for them.
(Please Iâm legit so bored and I wanna do something)

â an invitationâ
@evxrgrcwing reblogged this for a starter
It began with a letter. The envelope was a deep azure with the words âTo Whom it May Concernâ sweeping and curling in iridescent gold ink. The letter was an invitation. No RSVP required.
Dear receiver of this letter,
I greet you and on the behalf of The Self, cordially invite you to our upcoming festivities as we continue to celebrate our beautiful lives.
It continued on with some more flowery words, and an address to an estate. There the party goers were already enjoying themselves, while one quietly waited.
The question, though simple, made the figure chuckle softly to themselves. âKatiya. A beautiful name. We are The Self, but you may call us You, if you prefer.â A pause. âNot many do, come to think of it. Ah, but you must have questions. Or would you like to hop on in with the festivities?â It was impossible to know for sure, but there was a smile in their voice.
âUhm, yes⌠Why me? Why send an invitation to me?â Katiya asked them. She seemed a little⌠On edge. All of this seemed odd to her, like she wasnât seeing the full picture of what really might be going on. The Self. You. It all seemed so strange why they referred to themselves like that. However, she knew she had to look like nothing was wrong. She wouldnât want anyone to get suspicious or anything.
"Haha, an expected response" they laughed, a jewelled finger poking her nose. "Most people tend to ask that question for many things. But what about 'why not'? Life is made to be experienced, and we'd love if you shared some of those experiences with us"
