I have a logistics question though. Wouldn’t buying honey just attract more pests to my apartment? Like, hypothetical scenario: oops, oh deary me, I’m so clumsy and left my jar of Bug Busters Pest Control Solutions honey open next to an inconveniently cracked window. And, oh no! The bees! They’re everywhere! Now they’re making a hive in my kitchen sink! They multiply, take over the apartment, and then demand I pay rent. I have no money. I’m broke. They do not like that answer. The Queen Bee kicks me out onto the streets. I’m homeless now. All because I bought honey FROM YOUR business!!

(Crazy but not impossible! If Doctor Strange looked into the future, it’s one of the possible realities whether you like or not!)

A sleeping plague? Wow, that sucks! People in this town def overwork themselves and should get those full eight hours when they can! Or else they’ll just crash and burn for days! I did that once when I stayed awake for 72 straight ours to make a costume for Boston Comic Con. Fell asleep for FOUR DAYS and then missed the con! My friends literally thought I died lol! ..... Oh wait, okay so this whole “people think I’m kidnapped or dead” thing isn’t new... got it.

That’s…quite a thing to have happened, wow! But, um, let’s see– there was some weird stuff going on a few weeks ago, including a giant pizza that fell from the sky, weird sticky tar stuff down at the bend, and “monster” sightings at the beach. And then this other weird thing happened where a bunch of people fell into like really heavy sleep and couldn’t wake up. But! It’s all over now and the Spring Festival is in full swing! So, um welcome back! Don’t touch the bees, apparently.

I was gone for three months give or take. My parents were like super panicky and pissed when I came back, which I didn’t really get, so it was an uphill battle convincing them to let me leave again if “convincing” is code word for literally having to sneak away in the middle of the night and catch a train back to Maine. But I’m back now! My job was super nice and let it slide. I’m ready to wow Faetal Attraction with ALL THE NEW COSTUMES I made in the meantime!

So... APPARENTLY... if you suddenly pack everything up and move to a new remote town in the middle of nowhere Maine without telling any of your family or friends... they MIGHT jump to (which I think is frankly a wild) conclusion that you’ve been kidnapped... and may or may not launch a missing person investigation to find you... so, um... yeah. Long story short, I had to go to NYC to deal with that for a bit, but now I’m BACK, BABY! What’d I miss, White Crest? 🤩

Uh, well I like the Perfect Pint, but that’s mostly to watch the football matches. The Aquarium is really nice, surprisingly. You should check it out. Al’s is good for your standard American diner food, if that’s your thing. 

I applied! And with my previous bartending experience and blatant begging I got the gig! It’s been great so far! People there are kinda weird, but I’m a weirdo too after all!

Well... Since they can’t talk to each other, I’d imagine their communication is at a minimum. Like, what if ALL of them pick the supervision role?! I feel like mimes have a superiority complex like that (because honestly what a pretentious career choice!!). And then they're all just staring at each other, waiting for someone to make the move, grab the light bulb, do something... but alas... no one ever does. And the cycle continues... and we are plunged into an eternal darkness...

Clubbing? Well, it’s easy! Just wear whatever the hell you want, show up at the club, and get ready to dance! It’s 20 bucks to get in, which I know is steep, but it’s a great place to party, I promise!

I’ve been searching for local conventions... if you know of any, please let me know!! I’m in such a Comic Con drought that I’m THIS CLOSE to just throwing my own convention!

People cosplay in your bar? Why? That seems like a good way to wreck an expensive costume. 

RIGHT?! You’d THINK that, but these people go all freakin’ out every single night! It’s amazing and all, but believe me when I say I’m screaming on the inside whenever someone spills a drink on their fancy looking dress or silk tux. 

(I was also just told by someone else literally seconds ago that advertising the club isn’t such a good idea but you should still come through ahem ahem cough) Oh man did you hear something? I sure didn’t! Total silence.
