Reflections, Thoughts, and What's Next?

It's been over a month since the launch of oneshot.exe, the brainchild of me and Chazzerbox (and by "brainchild", I really mean she did all the thinking and I did all the coding). Originally envisioned, and still considered, as an April Fools project, oneshot.exe has blown up to a degree I still cannot truly wrap my head around.
In fact, earlier today YouTuber Thafnine uploaded a playthrough of various Creepypasta games to his second channel T9. Bundled amongst those games? oneshot.exe.
Absolutely unreal to see it come this far. By this far I mean reaching across into the United Kingdom.
It's just so... insane to me how far it's come. Like, seriously??? What the hell?????
Ahem.
Ahem.
So. Thank you so so soooo much to everyone who downloaded it. Thank you to everyone who has played, will play, or is playing right now. Thank you. I cannot type that enough times to express how thankful I am. And!
Thank you to everyone who has subscribed to the Patreon!!!!! It's entirely optional and solely for my own benefit, but you do get sneak peaks into stuff before everyone else!!!! And maybe some other stuff!!!!!
If you feel like doing so, here! If you don't like Patreon, here's my Ko-Fi! If you don't want to donate, you don't have to! I love you anyways! Parasocially! VERY parasocially!
Speaking of being parasocial, we have also opened a Discord server. I say "opened", but there was already a server dedicated to the puzzles within oneshot.exe... yeah. Join!!!!!!!:
Server for the development team Brimrose Software. Current creators of oneshot.exe and OneShot: Red & Yellow | 70 members
Why does a Discord server link embed, but not Patreon...? Ah. Anyways. I'm done plugging my stuff.
Right.
In the coming weeks, me and Chazzerbox are going to record a developer's commentary for oneshot.exe, giving insight and showing off just how much was actually intended and planned. For example: yes, cypher text is very "baby's first ARG". That was the point. And as an example of "behind-the-scenes fun fact"isms, the scream Cedric lets out at the end of the Inbetween segment is taken from the UK cult-classic TV show Utopia. Specifically, it's Wilson Wilson's from the end of Season 2 Episode 6. There are, fun fact, multiple versions taken from all over this scene. I'll share them with you right now, actually:
And, as a little bonus, here's the original audio un-bitcrushed:
It is NOT, however, Cedric engaging in sexual intercourse. That was very inappropriate of you, T9 viewers, and I would appreciate that you Not say that again.
Thank you so much to everyone who played. To everyone who downloaded. To everyone who WILL play.
Thank you. Thank you to Chazzerbox for giving me the chance to make this, thank you to everyone who chipped in with art or music, and thank you thank you thank you to everyone who stuck around for the puzzle.
All-in-all, I am very, very proud of this and what we've made. And I am so happy I got to share it with you all. But this little critter's story isn't over quite yet.
No...
...we've barely just begun, haven't we?
