[The start of a Coffee Addiction]
Summary: Emile has a mocha, and his mer boyfriend wants to try some
(Tiny drabble for my friend @not-cam-pad !!!)
Emile had just finished his exams, and he was downing a really yummy iced caramel mocha as a reward to himself.
He walked to the bay quietly, slipping under the big pier. The salty smell never bothered him anymore, in fact it made him relax. The smell of the seat made him think of Remy.
He kicked off his sandles and plopped on the sand, sticking his feet in the water.
As soon as he did, a head poked out from underneath the water. Remys cheeks were flushed, meaning he had probably swam very fast.
Emile perked up at seeing his mer boyfriend, frowning and papping his cheek. “You’re warm!”
“It’s hot.” Remy responded, sticking out his tongue. He dragged himself onto the sand, royal blue trial flicking back and forth as he struggled.
“I’m quite cool!” Emile chirped, taking another sip of his drink.
Remy’s eyes zeroed in on the drink, pupils dilating curiously as he tilted his head. “What’s that?’’
Emile pulled up his drink and shook it. “This?”
A laugh bubbled out of his mouth as the mers head followed the movement of the drink, much like a cat.
Remy nodded, jumping when the drink was offered to him.
“It’s a coffee! You may not like it… but you may as well try it, right? It’s usually hot, but it’s super hot outside.”
Remy tilted his head, before reaching forward and wrapping his hands around the cool drink. The cold condensation made him perk up, if felt really good in the heat of the day. He gently pulled the green straw between his lips, and took a sip.
The sweet caramel flavor hit his tongue, making him hum happily. The drink was cool and sweet, with a slight vanilla aftertaste.
“Mmm!” He hummed happily, handing the drink back to the beaming teen beside him. “Tastes good!”
Emile beamed. “Really? I don’t usually drink coffee, but I like sweet stuff like this.”
Remy nodded. Wow, his heart was beating really fast. He purred and rolled on his back, flicking his tail happily.
Emile watched him in confusion. It was almost like watching a cat slowly get affected by catnip….
Remy cooed softly, rolling around before flopping in the water.
He swam in quick, happy circles, popping back up again and doing a fancy flip.
He jumped up, wiggled stiffly like an air deprived fish, and flopped back in the water.
The caffine was kicking in.
Emile watched the energized mer with wide eyes as he zipped back and forth.
Remy continued to swim energetically for a few minutes, before popping up and dragging the unexpected Emile in a happy kiss, making the boy squeak and flush hotly.
Remy pulled back with a toothy grin, eyes sparkling.
