I thought of you when I read this quote from "Humans: A Brief History of How We F*cked It All Up" by Tom Phillips -

It was my 27th birthday, 12 days ago. I received the first GIF from Mom, and the second one from my cousin who is 16 years younger than me. The cousin ordered me an Echo Dot while we were at it. Made me filled up with joy and surprise - how can he adult so early in life? I want to be friends with him, know more of this part of him. I, well, did see the potential over the years even before he had started talking.

And that's how an old person might feel on his 27th birthday. There are many new projects he is relentlessly toiling for, and he is a self- starter so he ensures he gets his proteins right.

Happy 28th revolution around the Sun, Soumya!

Do you eat time? 

A few months back, I was able to have a commute conversation with a fellow passenger around time. The idea of 'eating time' should prevail over the idea of 'wasting time' is what the conclusion was. I think that's because it helps us rewire and trick our minds to think that we are eating at least something, all the time!

Well. What can I say about this book. It brought me and a little of people I know, come back out of depression. If you want to start reading well and good, this is the book for you. The tale's all about accepting things as they come, through the eyes of an old soul.
