Honestly though, a Knucle’s Pet Adoption AU

-he steals neglected pets

-he takes in EVERY unwanted litter of kittens and puppies (and rats, and ferrets)

-he shows them all SO MUCH LOVE

-like, you know Knucle but you have no idea how much he loves these animals.

-he’s so picky about who adopts then. They need to have a good home or he’ll just live in his crowded house with all of them, spending all day playing and cuddling them.

-he has a pet rat that is HIS and his name is waffle and it’s always on his shoulder or napping in the hood of his sweater because he’s skittish and shy.

-a really shy dude with long hair and no eyebrows comes around to find the friend furry friend.

-doesn’t happen the first visit. It’s important that he bonds with them. Knuckle agrees.

-His name is Shoot and a mutual friend Morel sent him to Knuckle as soon as he lamented about feeling lonely and kind of wanting a cat or something to keep him company.

-he comes back the next week to visit the animals again. His shyness is kind of endearing. He still isn’t sure who he wants to adopt. He leaves empty handed again.

-he comes back a few times a week. All the animals start to get excited when they hear him come in.

-oh wait. He’s actually kinda cute. Watching him play with the ferrets and talking to the cats like they’re having a normal ass conversation is adorable. He starts to really warm up to Knuckle. He still can’t choose his new friend.

- This goes on for like 3 months. His visits becoming more and more frequent. Even Waffle starts to trust him and will crawl into his lap when him and Knuckle are sitting together.

- one day he just... gets the courage and kisses knuckle goodbye. It’s quick and they’re both flustered and embarrassed.

-he comes back the next day still though, and Knuckle kisses him properly this time.

-suddenly he just... lives there, and they’re in love and taking care of their massive family and fuzzy buddies and he’s decided to keep one of the cats forever and names her Sunny (you know, like sunny side up eggs).

-everything is good and happy and nothing bad every happens the end.

Okay so my friend had a panic attack in the bathroom so I ended up skipping the entire class period by accident. I don’t normally skip just to skip but my friend really needed me.
