Kinda seems like a one sided conversation, doesn’t it? I’m tired of “conversations on race” whenever another innocent, unarmed black person is executed by the police. They’re as perfunctory as they are repetitive.

We need justice, not another hollow conversation that doesn’t change anything and does nothing to prevent the next shooting.

the part in three dark crowns when kat comes back after clawing herself out of a pit and says “first, i want revenge, and then i want my crown”?  yeah my brain always corrects it to “i want my fucking crown”. bc i feel like. if there was going to be a ‘fuck’ dropped anywhere in the series, it should be there, and i have this image in my head of kat actually being the sister who rarely curses, and her dropping one here would tell us that

1. shit is about to get real 2. she’s really not all she seems anymore.

plus, the raw power of her final scene in book one? yeah it deserves a ‘fuck’.
