Welcome to, Sicesca: When Reason Ends, So Does Life.
This will be an in depth explanation of Greg’s cult, this also may be the start of a series of comparing his cult to others. All links to every source I used will be at the bottom of every post, I encourage everyone to go and read up and listen for yourself
Greg claims to have created his religion in 1997 at the tender age of 11. At the age of 17 he wrote down the ideas and those ideas became Sicesca. However, in 2014 Greg made a series of videos explaining his religion, in the first video, “Sicesca: Life After Death” Greg claims to have created the religion at 17 and only followed it for a year.
In 2003 Greg created a website dedicated to Sicesca and maintained it throughout the years. This website was used to describe and teach others how to live according to the Sicescan faith, during this time Greg would reference his site on other sites of his, such as his ghost hunting site, Ghost Skin, he also listed it as his faith and religion on Bibliography sites. Greg often claimed that Sicesca was “the most logical religion”, as he had taken the most logical parts of other religions to create his.
Now before I can properly explain the beliefs of Sicesca, there are terms that frequently appear,
Divant: “The space/realm unseen by human eyes which all sivontes and zodins dwell.” In this realm both Zodin and Sivonte live, humans can travel to this realm to fight the Zodin. This realm also affects what happenes on Earth.
Zodin: “the souls which have never experienced human occupation of given right. Often times sociopaths due to lack in experience of human emotion through a first person perspective.” Zodin attack weak humans, which would explain haunted houses.“ Demon like creatures that live in the Divant that feed off human energy to attack our plane of existence, they cause terrorist attacks and other horrible things that happen on Earth.
Sivonte: “Post human souls which have experienced the honor of being awarded a human body to dwell in.“ Angel like creatures that help humans fight the Zodin, they can be corrupted and join the Zodin.
Aliens: “Alien abductions are real and they are just more advanced species from other planets studying us. Some people think they may have been abducted, but really they were suffering from sleep paralysis.”
As all religions do, Sicesca also has an origin story for the life on the planet. However, unlike most mainstream religions Human life was not created by a god or some kind of alien being, human life was in fact created by the Earth itself.
All planets in the universe are sentient and have an energy core, and with said core all planets are capable of creating beings to live on them. Our planet created a species before us, this species however did not live up to our home’s expectations and created an environment for the 1st species to be created. Once Earth was sure it could create a better being, it created mankind. Our planet also created other “living and non living” beings that are said to be dormant and living within the Earth until it is ready to release them.
The Earth created mankind to care and protect it. As the Earth is just a mass of rock it can not defend itself or care for the creatures it has created, mankind must take up the task of protecting all living and non living things. Humans should not kill another sentient being unless they plan to use every part of the creature.
A part of our duties as protectors of the planet is to unlock our potential to travel to the Divant. All humans have the potential to cross into the Divant based on how powerful our souls are. The strength and power our souls contain depend in how many times we have been reincarnated.
Once a soul has crossed into the Divant we must use our energy to fight the Zodin, as the Zodin have made it their goal to cause destruction on our plane of existence. If a soul can not defeat a Zodin the Zodin can reach into our plane and do a number of things, they can cause massive attacks, suck as the 9/11 terrorist attacks, or they can simply find a human to torment.
There are two ways to escape the torment of a Zodin, by either crossing into the Divant and defeating the Zodin in battle, or to write symbols on a wall of a room you spend most of your time in. Though the symbols are never specified, Greg does state that the symbols are stronger if you have another member of the Sicescan faith in the room with you.
Like most religions Sicesca has an afterlife, though in theme with the rest of this religion it doesn’t make much sense. When our bodies die how we lived on our Earth determines many things about our next life. If a soul was able to stay pure in both the Divant and our plane of existence then the soul is given the opportunity to take up residence in a developing baby.
However all souls have the ability to be reincarnated, those who did not remain pure are placed into bodies where what they did in their past life is inflicted upon them now. So if you are abused in this life it is more than likely that you were an abuser in your previous life and are reaping what you sowed. A soul, pure or not, could choose to have a harder life though, knowing that the harder your life is the faster you will evolve into a higher being.
When our soul leaves our human bodies and you choose to be placed into a new body you lose all memories of your past life. There are two ways a soul will not move onto a new body, a soul refuses to give up their last religous beliefs, forcing them to stay in the Divant until they eventually renounce their former faith, or they refuse to be reincarnated so they can stay with family members.
The Earth we life on now is one of the many planets out there. Our Earth is a 50/50 planet, 50 percent good and 50 percent evil. Eventually once our souls have ascended enough we can travel to another planet of our choosing. The next planets our souls could ascend to is either a 60 percent evil 40 percent bad, or a 60 percent evil 40 percent good planet and so on and so on. Once a soul reaches a 100% planet either way you will essentially become a god of that planet.
All Sicescan followers are to follow simple rules, all followers of the Sicescan faith are to not talk about or push their faith on others unless asked about their faith. You are not to attack other’s beliefs, but to show them a better way to live.
The Sicescan faith holds no condemnation for anyone of any sexuality or gender, though the male and female gender complement and complete each other perfectly.
All Sicescans are to keep their bodies healthy and clean, as their goal is to keep the Earth clean and pure as well.
