Last month Oniri was totally funded thanks to our awesome community! We are truly grateful for this amazing support! Oniri will become a reality ❤️

55% de l’objectif ! Présentation des créateurs de nos Fan Arts

Nous avons dépassé les 50 % de l’objectif après seulement quelques jours !! Merci à tous pour votre soutien, nous sommes ici très heureux de voir que le projet vous plaît.  

Il est temps de vous présenter les artistes qui ont réalisé les magnifiques illustrations présentes dans notre FAN ART ÉDITION :

Fabien Roché est designer graphique et illustrateur indépendant français, diplômé de l’école Estienne et des Gobelins (Paris). Il travaille en parallèle sur des projets de bandes dessinées.

Atelier Sentô est un duo d'artistes français (Cécile Brun et Olivier Pichard). Leurs projets s’inspirent de leurs voyages au Japon, de personnes rencontrées, ainsi que de leurs croquis et photos. Ils travaillent avec des techniques traditionnelles : aquarelles, gravures et crayons de couleurs. Leur travail offre une vision atypique d’un Japon fait de petits villages montagnards, de festivals et d’esprits oubliés.

Bérénice Milon est designer graphique et illustratrice française, diplômée de la HEAD – Genève. Elle développe un style graphique singulier rappelant le collage et les jeux de construction. Elle s’intéresse et dessine sur des sujets comme l’écologie et l’habitat.

Aurélien Mabilat est designer graphique et illustrateur français, diplômé de l’école Estienne, des Gobelins et de la HEAD – Genève. Artiste pluri-disciplinaire avec un univers mélangeant poésie et science, il participe en ce moment à une résidence d’artiste au CERN.

Swan Keller est un concept artist et illustrateur suisse travaillant dans l’industrie du jeu vidéo, du film et de l’animation. C’est un grand fan de bandes dessinées et d’art digital.

Célia Beauduc est une artiste française vivant à Paris. Elle travaille essentiellement en digital painting pour créer ses univers et ainsi partager tout ce qu'elle aime dans ses concepts art, sketchs et character designs. Elle met facilement de côté son stylet pour savourer les plaisirs des techniques traditionnelles telles que l'aquarelle, le crayon et l'encre. Amoureuse de la nature, de fantaisie et d'ost, son style se rapproche des histoires vikings et des aventurières indépendantes. Toutes ces sources d'inspirations l'aident à communiquer sa sensibilité dans la plupart de ses créations.

Nous espérons que ces illustrations vous plairont autant qu’à nous. À très bientôt pour plus de nouvelles !

We outreached 55% of our funding goal in just a few days!! Thanks to all of you for your amazing support, we are more than happy to see how much you love our project.  

It is time now to present to you the artists behind the beautiful illustrations that you can find in the FAN ART EDITION:

Fabien Roché is a french graphic designer and independent illustrator, alumni of Estienne School and Gobelins School (Paris). He is also working as a comic book artist.

Atelier Sentô is a french duo of artists (Cécile Brun et Olivier Pichard). Their projects are inspired by their travels in Japan, the people they met and their drawings and photographs. They work with traditional techniques: watercolors, etching, coloured pencils.Through their work they would like to show an unusual side of Japan, made up of small villages in the mountains, festivals, forgotten spirits.

Bérénice Milon is a graphic designer and illustrator, alumni of HEAD – Geneva School. She develops a unique graphic universe inspired by collage and construction set. She takes interest and draws on topics like ecology and habitat.

Aurélien Mabilat is a graphic designer and illustrator, alumni of Estienne School, Gobelins School and HEAD – Geneva School. Pluri-disciplinary artist with a universe blending poetry and science, he is participating in an artist residence at CERN.

Swan Keller, is a swiss concept artist and illustrator working in the video game, film and animation industries. He is a big fan of comic books and digital art.

Célia Beauduc is a french artist living in Paris. She essentially works in digital painting to create her universes and thus shares her interests through concept arts, sketches and character designs. She easily switches between digital pen and traditional techniques like watercolor, pencil and ink. Nature lover, fantasy and OST enthusiast, her style is inspired by viking tales and independant female adventurers. All her sources of inspiration help her convey her sensitivity in her creations.

C’est parti, notre campagne est live sur Kickstarter !!!

C’est avec un immense plaisir que nous vous annonçons le lancement de notre campagne Kickstarter de notre jeu Oniri Islands. Notre objectif est de 30’000 CHF qui nous permettront de fabriquer la 1ère série de figurines.

Voilà maintenant plus de deux ans que nous travaillons sur notre jeu Oniri Islands. Nous avons démarré officiellement la production en janvier 2016, avons développé deux chapitres du jeu et participé à de prestigieux festivals comme la Gamescom, la Paris Games Week, la Nasscom, l’IndieCade EU et dernièrement la GDC US afin d’avoir vos retours et d’améliorer l’expérience de jeu.

Nous y voilà enfin ! Après des mois de travail acharné nous sommes prêts et fiers de vous présenter notre campagne. Nous espérons qu’elle vous plaira, nous avons pris beaucoup de plaisir à préparer des rewards aussi jolies qu’intéressantes !

Vous nous avez soutenu depuis le début, maintenant réussissons ce kickstarter ensemble !

We are thrilled to announce today the launch of our Kickstarter campaign for our two-player cooperative toys-to-life adventure game : Oniri Islands. The goal for the Kickstarter campaign is set at $30,000, which will go towards supporting the manufacturing of the figurines.

We’ve been working on Oniri Islands for more than two years. We officially started the production in january 2016 developing two chapters and exhibiting our demo in great festivals like Gamescom, Paris Games Week, Nasscom, Indie Cade EU, and GDC US to get feedback and improve the game experience with you. It’s finally happening! After hard working months we are ready and proud to show you our campaign, we hope you will like it, we took great pleasure to cook you interesting and beautiful rewards! You’ve been showing us your support since the beginning, now let’s rock this kickstarter together!!

Figurine #9 Mina, Tim et leurs masques

Il y a quelques mois nous vous montrions sur le blog les concepts 2D des futures figurines de Mina, Tim et leurs masques d’animaux. Dans le jeu, nos deux jumeaux, qui explorent l’île d’Oniri, trouvent des masques d’animaux aux pouvoirs magiques. Nous tenions à donner la possibilité aux joueurs de pouvoir changer ces masques “physiquement”. Nous avons donc imaginé un système permettant de les clipser sur le visage des personnages.

Nous avons travaillé cet été avec le talentueux Nassos Apollonatos qui a créé l’ensemble des modèles 3D. Nous sommes très fières de pouvoir vous présenter la version définitive des jouets qui accompagneront le jeu : 

Certains d’entre vous étaient impatients de voir la version 3D des différents masques. Nous avons travaillé dur dessus, nous espérons qu’ils vous plairont !

Le mois dernier, nous nous sommes rendus à la Gamescom pour présenter notre nouvelle démo. Nous en avons profité pour faire des impressions 3D en résine de tous les objets: les deux personnages et les masques. L’idée était de montrer au public à quoi vont ressembler les jouets dans la version finale du jeu. Les figurines ont rencontré un grand succès et nous avons reçu de très bons feedbacks <3 Voici quelques photos des figurines imprimées :

Figurine #9 Mina, Tim and the masks

A few months ago we showed you the new concept design of Mina and Tim, and of course the little animal masks. In the game, Mina and Tim will find animal masks that grant them powers. We really wanted to let you the possibility to switch the mask physically as well, so we designed them in such a way that masks can be clipped on the head of the character.

We worked with the talented Nassos Apollonatos to create the 3D models. We are really proud today to present you the toys final design: 

Some of you were really eager to see the 3D versions of the different masks, we put hours of hard work into them, hope you’ll love it!

We went to Gamescom in August, so with the 3D models, we made prints in resin of all the objects: the two characters and the masks. The idea was to show the public how the toys will be. It was a great success, we received a lot of great feedbacks <3 Here some pictures of the prints :

Onirigami devient Oniri Islands

Chères toutes et Chers tous, nous avons une annonce importante à vous faire! Après des mois de réflexions nous avons décidé de changer le nom de notre jeu.

 Adieu Onirigami, voici Oniri Islands !

Maintenant pour les explications : beaucoup de personne n'arrivait pas à prononcer le nom correctement ni à vraiment bien s'en souvenir, et au tout début du projet il y avait un lien avec l'origami, mais ce n'est plus le cas aujourd'hui. Nous avons gardé "Oniri" car notre scénario est en lien avec les rêves, et pour "Islands" et bien tout simplement car notre histoire se déroule sur une île, et nous espérons sur pleins d'autres îles dans le futur ;)

Un grand merci à @aurelienmabilat et @dataswitch pour avoir créé notre nouveau logo, nous espérons qu'il vous plaira autant qu'à nous <3

Onirigami becomes Oniri Islands

Dear all, we have a big announcement to make! After months of reflexion we decided to change the name of game.

Goodbye Onirigami, and welcome to Oniri Islands!

Now we must explain why we changed our name: a lot of people couldn't pronounce well the name nor remember it really, and at the very beginning of this project there was a link with origami, but now no more. We kept "Oniri" because our story has something to do with dreams, and "Islands" well, it simply takes place on an island, and we hope many more in the future ;)

A huge thanks to @aurelienmabilat  and @dataswitch for creating our new logo, we hope you'll love it as we do <3
