Now Ed is a completely different person. He plays slot machines online all the time. And the worst thing is, he actually makes money doing it! I am pretty good at winning, when I play slot machines online, but this guy is amazing. I know, they say, there is no such thing as skill, but it really seems like my friend Ed somehow has figured how to do it right. 

To top it off when I say he plays slot machines online constantly, I do mean C-O-N-S-T-A-N-T-L-Y. And why can he do this? Because he wins enough money to make a living! 

Granted, he doesn't have many expenses. This is one of the laziest dudes, you'd ever meet. He is incredible at spending no money at all, until one day you'll see him prancing about in sweet new shoes or a fancy new leather jacket. And you ask him: "Dude, how can you afford that?" and he would just shrug. 

Somehow I feel I should have a slice of that cake. After all I did tell him to play slot machines online in the first place. Whenever I bring this up, he just shrugs. 

Wow, writing this really gives me the urge to go play more. I need to show Ed, that I can win more money than he can! I have been doing it for longer anyway! If you commit to it, you will win. I just need to go and do that.

Scratch cards will take me to the end of the world and back

It might sound odd to you, but I might want to make clear that these scratch cards are for free and most importantly: requires very little time to scratch. I can do it on my lunch break!

I have been yearning to leave the country for a while. I need to go see what more the world has to offer me! The minute I have scratched my way to enough money I am out of here.

It always surprises me, when my friends  complain about not having enough money to go do what they want and not do anything about it! At least I do what I can to get what I want by playing free scratch cards.

But oh no, "luck in games" - does that mean I am unlucky in love? Okay, I am seriously doubting this now! Will I be able to win anything playing online scratch cards when it's in the name of love? Do you prefer to play one-armed bandit online or offline?

The normal real life one-armed bandit has that lever on the side that you can pull, which somehow gives you the sense of being slightly more in control of the outcome than you do with a click. It also reminds me of my earlier days when you couldn't play one-armed bandit online, because it didn't exist. 

Today I play the one-armed bandit online and almost never in real life. It is more accessible and there are a lot more options. Often they have a fun theme or a little game as a platform. So yes, I would probably prefer to play one-armed bandit online rather than in real life. But that doesn't mean I would miss out on the opportunity to play the one-armed bandit in real life. 

I remember once in vegas playing the one-armed bandit and winning a big prize of £10.000. That was pretty huge and I will never forget the rattling sound of all the coins dropoping down. You do not get that online, but I find that it is easier to win big prizes when I play one-armed bandit online. 

I have a friend who doesn't have to work. He makes all his money playing the one-armed bandit online. All he ever does is sitting in front of the computer playing. Sometimes he doesn't have a lot of money, but at other times he is very rich. He says he wouldn't trade it for a steady income and a nine to five job. He can take off work whenever he wants to and he can start working whenever he wants to. Such freedom is enviable!

I said "Ok, listen mate, I'm going to do the free online scratchie and if I win anything the money goes to you."  And as if the free scratch online was on my side it revealed a prize of £50! I could not believe my luck! Then again I am quite lucky. "There you go," I said, "50 quid for you!" JJ clearly in a dilemma looked at me in bewilderment. I knew he wasn't going to be able to say no to £50. On the other hand he is pretty proud and can't allow himself to admit a mistake. "No thank you" he said after a while. " I don't want your free scratch online money, it's probably not real anyway." I decided to leave it there and started playing battlefield instead. A few moments into the game JJ said "If I win this round I get the 50 quid, yeah?" I laughed. So typical. My point is proven. Nobody in their right mind would say no to free money from free scratch online. Would you?

I always get lucky when I play the one-armed bandit

My friends call me "lucky bandit", because I always get lucky when I play the one-armed bandit.

Even from an early age, I was keen to play the one-armed bandit and even at that time I showed incredible luck. Obviously, back then I didn't play with big amounts, but I still felt invincible when I took home £50 having started out with only £5.

In the beginning, I played with my parents' money and I think this made me the responsible player I am today. I wouldn't dare coming home with less money than what I'd borrowed for the one-armed bandit. However, I soon began putting money that I'd lured out of the one-armed bandit aside for future games. I always decided on a specific amount that I was allowed to lose and I was careful not to risk a single penny more. I have stuck to this rule ever since and in fact I have never lost the full amount, which means I am playing with the money from the same pool of won money.

Naturally, I am cheated by the one-armed bandit from time to time, but due to my strict rules I never lose too much money to the one-armed bandit.

I used to love pulling the lever on the one-armed bandits, but today I play online where there is no lever to pull - obviously. On the other hand there are many more opportunities online than in real life. I don't just stick to the one-armed bandit. I have also tried my luck with online bingo and other fun games. Usually I win something, but most importantly: I always know when to stop and I am convinced that my luck generates from this particular skill. Unlike my playing friends I know when to stop and to just call it a day.
