I'm not joking when I say that unfortunately it will take a long time for us to see African-based religions so well represented in media again, especially in animation, after Castlevania: Nocturne.

The mystical tone, the golden colors and sparkles, the grandeur of Ogum and at the same time the respect that the deity demonstrates when mentioning other deities, such as the Egyptian ones... This is beautiful.

I've just finished rewatching both Castlevania series, and I'm bringing this up again because the point still stands.

Please, give Castlevania a chance. It's an amazing show, and I say this as a someone who enjoys both universes (the games and the animated series).
