Trending on Twitter in Ankh-Morpork, as its citizens chronicle their daily interactions with the city's many... unique... characters. (Submissions are always welcome!) UPDATE: this basically just a fanblog at this point
Why this brutality What do we count among humans We can't stay safe even a little bit of a slump. They're throwing bombs at Palestinian homes Someone comes to you and says Israel has not committed any crime I'm sad!!
Can't I live for a moment without suffering By the way, they say we're in a truce Nothing indicates a truce and we still bomb every day Maybe the meaning of the ceasefire is different there from here Someone with a square head comes to you, doubting Gaza is still suffering Or not! We're oppressed!
We are still being attacked so brutally and powerfully, and no one looks or stands beside us, please stop what you are doing now, stop playing, stop watching movies, stop reading, leave them even for a few minutes, and see what is happening to us. We are still bombing, killing, and the world is silent that my father's health will not last any longer if we do not provide him with treatment he will not be able to live Please, if you read my words, please don't ignore and help me even once, please
I won't talk today about all the suffering we've endured throughout this war. Instead, I'll share one simple reality of our daily life.
Just to avoid becoming homeless, we must pay $500 every month to rent the small plot of land where our tent stands. That is the price of having a roof over our heads.
And that's only the beginning. It doesn't include food, clothing, medicine, education, or the countless unexpected expenses of a family of seven, including three university students trying to survive one day at a time.
Oh God Oh God Oh God The doctor told me words that broke my heart: "If your wife does not receive urgent treatment, we may lose her." She urgently needs two units of blood and treatment that cannot be delayed. Every minute that passes while I stand helpless beside her feels heavier than the one before. Save my wife. Save the mother of my daughters. I stood beside her hospital bed feeling like the ground had disappeared beneath me. I cannot bear the thought of my daughters losing their mother, or losing the woman I love because I could not provide the treatment she needs. At the moment my wife needs help the most, I cannot access the funds from our previous fundraiser, so we were forced to create a new campaign. I am begging you as a husband who is terrified of losing his wife... Please help us before it is too late. Donate or share our Chuffed campaign:
The suffering of the victims will not be erased by silence. Justice is not a slogan, but a responsibility. The voices of the victims must remain present until accountability is achieved and every human being's right to life and dignity is respected.
To everyone who hears but doesn't speak, to everyone who sits but doesn't move, to everyone holding their phone right now but not participating: do something for justice.
In Gaza, life is nonexistent. The tents are dilapidated, healthcare is nonexistent, and there's no cleanliness, water, food, medicine, hospitals, education, work—everything. Despite all this, my family and I cling to Gaza and Palestine. We still have hope.
In the midst of the war, everyone was donating and helping the people of Gaza, but now, unfortunately, everyone is ignoring them except for a few compassionate individuals. Please donate and participate.
The media blackout on Palestine coinciding with new bomb types dropped in a ceasefire tells its own story.
Nothing says "ceasefire" like a Thermobaric bomb. I guess "ceasefire" means something else down there than here... What pigs. They saw it as too hot and the temperature is too high, so they bombard us with heat generators. Damn them.
We are still being attacked so brutally and powerfully, and no one looks or stands beside us, please stop what you are doing now, stop playing, stop watching movies, stop reading, leave them even for a few minutes, and see what is happening to us. i work with kids. i have a shitty substitute childcare job where i get called in day of to watch preschoolers or elementary students all day and it's ok, i do it because it pays and because working with children is genuinely one of the most fulfilling things i've ever done in my life.
my job can be hard, sometimes. the other day i had a long day of watching preschoolers who were scratching me, trying to get into places they shouldn't every 5 seconds, and then in the last hour of my shift some little girl got her pee all over me. it was hectic but i got through it.
my friend eslam, who i've known for almost two years now, also works with children. she is a teacher in gaza and has recently gone back to work since the war in order to support her three children. she tells me the school has no desks or chairs, so they sit on the ground as they learn. eslam tells me the circumstances of teaching in gaza are hard, but she still does her very best to give them the best education possible, and to give them a sense of hope and normalcy amidst the war.
working with kids is hard already, but i can't imagine teaching kids like eslam does in these conditions. to teach them with so few resources, all while the children are likely struggling with hunger, grief, and ptsd from israeli bombing. i've worked with kids in difficult circumstances, and it breaks my heart to see them suffering sometimes when there's hardly anything i can do about it. i can only imagine how hard it must be for eslam to watch her students face even worse conditions every single day. i admire her so much for trying her absolute hardest to still make sure these kids receive a proper education, and to give them something to look forward to each day.
despite how hard eslam is working, her teaching job still doesn't make enough to help her family survive. i want to ask that if you have any funds to spare to please consider donating to @eslamram2's family and campaign. the funds would go towards helping her youngest mahmoud who has recently fallen ill, and keeping the rest of her family fed and healthy. families in gaza are still struggling. they need all the help you can get.
I am Eslam from Gaza, 30 years old, a mother of two girls, and eight months pregnant. I used to work as a children's teacher, and my husband
Not every position creates courage, but courage defines true leadership. Deep respect to those who raise their voices in defense of humanity. While others choose to stand by in silence, as if none of this concerns them. History does not remember those who remained silent. It remembers those who stood for what was right when doing so demanded real courage.
What I'm about to say isn't being reported in the news. Organizations in Gaza don't distribute money; most distribute food, and not everyone gets enough for their family. So, if you can donate... Donate to a family or person suffering from a specific illness
My daughter Salma and my niece Judy are suffering from severe anemia. If you are able to donate, please click here. If you would like to participate, you can also help.
Everyone is talking, writing, and seeing, but many are ignoring us or simply unable to participate. Please, we in Gaza are living in very harsh conditions. Donate, do something.
🥹How many times must my little girl be admitted to the intensive care unit before the world gives her a chance at life?
A 16-year-old girl has been admitted to the ICU twice due to kidney disease and needs €660 for urgent tests and treatment. What would your reaction be?
❤️ I would donate if I could.
🔁 I would share her story so it reaches someone who can help.
🙏 I would pray for her recovery
💔 I hope she finds someone to save her.
Sometimes, a life hinges on an amount that might seem small to some, but for our family, it represents the difference between continuing treatment and waiting for the condition to deteriorate
😭My daughter, Farah, has a severe renal tubular disorder that causes dangerously low potassium levels and blood acidity. The condition can lead to extreme weakness, muscle paralysis, cardiac complications, and is considered a form of chronic kidney failure. She has been admitted to the ICU twice after life-threatening cardiac episodes. Medical reports confirm that she urgently needs continuous treatment and close monitoring, but the medications and medical services she depends on are unavailable💔🥹
🆘Today, we urgently need €660 to cover:
🩺 Necessary medical tests and examinations.
📺 An imaging scan required to assess her condition.
💊 Healthcare services and necessary treatment.
Every day of delay increases the risk of her condition worsening, and we cannot bear these costs alone🥹💔
🙏 If you are able to donate, you are giving Farah a chance at treatment. If you cannot, sharing this appeal might reach someone who can help us. Thank you to everyone standing with us and praying for Farah’s recovery🌹
Note: if you would prefer to pay via paypal, you can do so here.

Some families measure time in days; we, however, have come to measure it by our ability to secure the next step of our daughter’s treatment. There is nothing harder for any parent than watching their child in pain🙏🏻
🚨👩🏻🦼Happy Disability Pride Month! 🤍✨As we celebrate this special month, I am reaching out to your kind hearts as a mother. My beautiful little girl is a child with special needs—she is my ultimate source of pride and joy, fighting her battles every day with the sweetest smile. To help her get the medical care, therapies, and support she needs to thrive, we are raising funds.🌹🇵🇸🤍👩🏻🦼
I reached out to Wesal today because I hadn't heard from her in a couple of days, which doesn't happen often, and she brought me this alarming news. Farah is back in the hospital:
"Farah had to undergo an urgent procedure and remains in the hospital. Her condition deteriorated—her potassium levels dropped to 2.2—forcing us to keep her in the hospital to receive intravenous potassium."
These are extremely low levels of potassium, putting Farah at risk of cardiac arrest. Intravenous supplementation of potassium must be done slowly - going too fast also endangers one's heart. This means Farah has to stay at the hospital, which, for a child like her, is very distressing. It is distressing for Wesal too.
"I feel like I am the one who will collapse to the ground, dead. I simply don't have the energy left; I am not a superhuman robot—I am a human being with limited stamina. The strain of standing, the constant vigilance and caution, and the need to monitor the IV drip—watching it fall drop by drop because the flow rate cannot be increased without risking adverse effects on the heart—have all taken their toll."
This is the second time that Farah has been admitted to hospital in a very short time. It is very costly, but there is no other option. The potassium supplements that Farah should be receiving have been unavailable for months now. We must keep Farah alive so she can be evacuated by the WHO when the opportunity arises.
Please donate if you are able, and share this post! Farah needs us!
"I'm afraid things will get to the point where I can't even buy a banana or a chicken breast for my daughter, mother, or father. I cry and say, "Oh God, please let the humanitarians continue to support us and donate. I won't even be able to afford filtered water without them.""
Wesal and I are both grateful for every single donation and every single reblog. ❤️
tagging for reach, I'm sorry to bother you once again, but please share and ask your friends to share as well, thank you <3 (let me know if you don't want me to tag you anymore, apologies for any multiple tags)
Art and other rewards being offered for those who have proof of donation (such as a screenshot of receipt, probably with personal information blacked out) to the well-known vetting lists and a few other. I have collected an up-to-date list here. There is also links to other lists: for such as flowerpawarts's spreadsheet, you should make sure they accept the vetting list or are not just funding for a specific family

🩷There is a little girl waiting not for a gift... but for a chance at life. 💔From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who donated, shared, or prayed for my daughter. 🤍🫂🇵🇸
🙏🏻I am exhausted from the endless hospital visits. So far, we have only been able to raise $65 toward the cost of the essential medical tests, and we still need $590 to complete them.💔😭
Israel systematically targets the health of pregnant mothers and infants in Gaza. This is a reality every parent in Gaza knows. It has also been confirmed repeatedly by others. Pediatric healthcare professionals in Gaza have been bravely speaking out about how Israel is currently using restrictions of formula into Gaza to torture and kill Palestinian babies.
Is there anyone who could help my baby girl by donating the cost of one can of infant formula?
She is only 40 days old, and I can no longer afford the formula she needs. Even the price of a single can would make a huge difference for us during this very difficult time.
If you can't donate, please consider sharing our story. It may reach someone who can help.
idk why no one helped my sister. I can't describe her pain; she cries uncontrollably and can't move or eat. She's been isolated from her friends. Her skin condition is severe and burns intensely. The medication is very expensive because it's not allowed in our country!!
Please don't ignore my sister's tears and help me provide her with medicine before it's too late.
After my brother's death, I became helpless and desperate, but I will do my best to raise the funds for treatment and save my sister. Please, everyone, help my little sister by donating here or via PayPal... Verification
Where do we go as night approaches? H@lp us, we won't live in s@fety. These fires you see in the picture aren't just flames; they're consuming our sky, stealing sleep from our eyes, and filling our hearts with terror every second.
I'm just a child. A child's natural place is school, or a s@fe and comfortable place in their room. But my current situation is much worse. My family and I are now inside a tattered truck that offers no protection from the day's heat, nor from the night's cold, and certainly not from the shrapnel of fear that rains down around us, as you can see in the picture.
Every sound of the tent pegs snapping against our flimsy shelters is a reminder of the possibility of reaching us.Our worn-out tent is all we have now, and we desperately need your support to survive. We need basic necessities like food, clean water, and a proper shelter. Ple@se h@lp us,—,I beg you, don't abandon us.
Please please help my friend Ahmed!!! He is enduring unthinkable terror and has no relief from these conditions. Help his family to raise the funds they need to survive this!!
The largest percentage of martyrs in Gaza are children, so have you forgotten what the children of Gaza suffered? Have you forgotten that they were starved and killed? Have you not lived a beautiful day in three years?
They were denied education, they were denied play, they lived in fear they never slept Because of the bombing We can now give them a chance to educate from the heart of Gaza The school still needs a lot of work on it to provide a better environment for them

Where are you?Why doesn't anyone donate? Where are you? the one who donates? Please help us Donate to us and share this post which is Come on. Come on..
Time is running out. My wife's life is in danger. This is not an exaggeration. It is the reality we are living every single day. Doctors have confirmed that my wife's condition is getting worse because of severe vitamin deficiencies and malnutrition. Her body can no longer endure any more delays. Sadly, this will be the third surgery she has to undergo, and her exhausted body can no longer bear more pain or more waiting. She urgently needs treatment and surgery, and every day without support puts her life at even greater risk. I stand beside her feeling completely helpless, watching the woman I love grow weaker day after day while I desperately search for a way to save her. If you are reading these words, please don't scroll past them. Your donation, no matter how small, could give my wife a chance to survive. If you cannot donate, please share our story. It may reach the one person who can help save her life. Please don't let time run out before my wife gets her chance to survive. Vetted by GazaVetter #520

I was sitting in my residence yesterday when four very heavy missiles struck the central Gaza Strip. The ground shook beneath us from the force of the explosion. Indeed, Gaza is witnessing the most documented and most denied genocide in history.
I never imagined that more than three years would pass under the yoke of merciless people, or rather, the Zionist army cannot even be called human; they are beasts devoid of mercy. Yesterday, a nine-year-old girl was killed by an Israeli sniper, just for fun. And these scenes from yesterday, the bombing of an entire residential complex—I never knew I would witness this with my own eyes, and the world remains silent.
I just want a peaceful life with my loved ones in a place that suits me, to study and achieve my dreams. But all of that is destroyed because I'm in Gaza. I beg you to help me. I don't want to remain alone like this. If you can help in any way, it will be a great help to me. Please donate now to save me and those I love.
Help Nader, I am out of a lot of work due to two injuries & intense PT and I wish I could help more but I also beg you guys to help him supplement even the little bit I was able to give.
He needs us. He is going through something I can’t imagine going through in his circumstance.
Every day, hospitals receive more dead and wounded. Explosions shake the streets, buildings disappear overnight, and families sleep not knowing if they will wake up.
My name is Hisham, a 26-year-old young man from Gaza. Like any young person, I dreamed of a simple job to achieve my goals and build my future step by step, but the war turned all our dreams into rubble. We were displaced many times, carrying our homes on our shoulders, leaving our memories under the debris.
My family now lives in a tent with no stable shelter, my sister Jana has no school, and I have no steady job. My brother Kamal carries the burden of the entire family, working every day to secure just enough food, while I search for any work, no matter how difficult or dangerous, just to survive.
My mother, the beautiful dream we once cherished, wished for a calm and happy life for us, but the war tore us apart and shattered our hopes. As for Jana, my innocent sister, she lost her school, her books, and even her sense of hope, yet she still writes her dreams on small pieces of paper, hiding them in her torn clothes so they won’t get lost like everything else.
We are not asking for the impossible, only what keeps us alive with dignity and gives us a chance to rebuild our lives. Every donation, no matter how small, means so much to us. Your support will give us hope to keep going and try again. 🙏❤️
