You turned your chin onto your knee when the Fat Lady doorway opened and the gangling array of boys stumbled in -- both James and Sirius caked in sticky mud, whilst Peter fully resembled a drowned rat... only Remus was completely dry and clean, evident that he was the only one who thought to use a spell to keep himself presentable.
“Oh, Y/N, you should have been there, James basically fell headfirst... are you okay?” Sirius questioned, trailing off his enthusiastic story when he finally
You cleared your throat quickly, shaking yourself out of your daze when your ears caught your name, "What? Oh yeah, I'm fine. What were you saying?"
Jams went to speak again but Remus beat him to it, "No, he's right. What's wrong? Did something happen while we were out?"
The boys draped themselves onto the couch on either side of you -- Sirius brushing his shoulder against yours to your left, dragging your eyes away from the fire where they naturally rested.
"Come on," James encouraged further, seating himself on your left.
"It's just something Sammy said the other day is all, playin' on my mind," you vaguely responded, tucking your chin into your knees and wrapping your arms around them.
"Geez, come on... spill," Remus chirped up, eager eyes soaking your expression, "Oh no, this isn't going to end with us burying pieces of his body in the Forbidden Forest, is it?"
"What? No," You scrunched your brow, "Of course not. We've just... nevermind, this is a conversation I should be having with him,"
"So... why aren't you? Instead of sitting staring at the fire," James questioned with a raised brow,
"Because..." you began, but your paused, cheeks flaring up, "It's-- It's embarrassing,"
"Come on! You were there when Remus tried to ask a girl out but then only wheezed out 'I've got chlamydia' nothing can be more embarrassing than that," You laughed at Sirius's taunting, even more so when Remus leaned over and pushed the boy off the couch.
"I just... Sammy wants to... to take t-the next step in our relationship," You explain slowly, rolling your knuckles against your knee awkwardly, trying to roll off the clinging second layer of sweat around your hands.
"The next... oh," Remus realised, he too beginning to look slightly uncomfortable. "Well... are you?"
"I..." You began, but your shoulders deflated, "I don't know." You answered simply, "I don't really know much about... it,"
"Oh," Sirius blanked, "Like nothing?"
"No," You rolled your eyes, nudging his shoulders slightly, "I just... don't know how to make it... good... for him, ya know? But you're all boys, you'd know."
Each boy went bright read, their image of you as their younger sister slowly crumbling as they realised what you were asking them, Remus couched sporadically, eyes feverishly dancing across the room as he grew uncomfortable.
"Well..." Sirius began, throwing over his arm around your shoulder, "The first thing is... communication,"
You rolled your eyes, "That's not what I--"
"I know what you meant," Sirius waved you off, "But it is important. He's gonna have weird stuff that he likes that we aren't gonna tell ya, but he also needs to know what you like. You also need to be 100% certain your open with communication in case you wanna stop,"
Your muscles were stiff as you nodded slowly, highlighting that you understood his words. "Okay but... what about the other stuff? Like when you're actually..."
"Are you sure you're ready?" James pressed, "If you can't even say the word, how can---"
"Sex." You cut across bluntly, "How do I please him whilst we're having sex?" You fought off the blush, refusing to give your friends the satisfaction,
That caused everyone to quieten, though Remus seemed to squeak with rouge cheeks, "Everyone's different but..."
"Blow jobs always work wonders," Sirius boisterously responded, however when he got a jab sharp to the rib, he corrected himself, "You don't have to do that first time or anything just.... If you are gonna do that, don't force it down your throat or anything -- whatever's comfortable,"
"You might not even like having sex so... let's focus with the first time for now hey, Padfoot." James jeered,
"I -- I heard that it can hurt sometimes, is it--- never mind, why am I asking you that?" You muttered to yourself, in a sowl,
"As long as he goes slow and you relax, it shouldn't hurt that badly," James offered, ignoring everyone looking at him with knowing smiles,
"If he hurts you, or does something you don't like, that scares you, you tell us okay? No matter how embarrassing it is," Remus ordered sternly, and you chose not to point that he had been shuffling uncomfortably the whole time -- you nodded instead.
It was the next day, you were on your way to Charms when you heard them -- the mixing voices of your friends and your boyfriend down a scarcely used corridor.
You stopped just before you came into view, resting yourself against the wall, peering over bravely to see the Mauraders surrounding your boyfriend. "Listen, I don't care if your little dick hurts, if she even winces, you stop. She does this thing with her--"
"Yeah I know, we are dating, I warrant that I know her better than you." Sammy argued, Remus's entire body began tight, whilst Sirius and James let out a full belly laugh,
"That's sweet," Remus hissed, "But you are so far from right. She is our friend. Our best friend. There may be more of people like you entering her life but we are a constant, a promise. So when we say if you do anything, anything to hurt her, physically or emotionally we will kill you."
"I know a particularly angry pack of animals in the forbidden forest that will gladly hide your body for us," Sirius grinned, resting his arm on James, whose smile gleamed also.
You could only roll your eyes from your hiding position with a small smile -- Remus was right, the gaggle of boys would always be by your side.

Draco's fists clenched on the table as he saw you walk inside the Great Hall under your new boyfriends' arm -- what could you possibly see in Potter? Draco didn't remember you muttering one word about Potter to him, but then again he never hid his displeasure for the boy who lived therefore, why would you?
He had just guessed, as your best friend, he would have heard the news from you, not Pansy who had stuck her nose in business that wasn't hers like she usually did.
Before either Blake or Pansy could stop him, he jumped from his seat, storming towards the entrance where you lingered.
"Hey dovie," Draco called out once he approached and you swung away from the messy-haired boy,
"Draco," You greeted, stepping away from Harry and pacing your arms over his shoulders and around his neck -- rolling onto your tip-toes to reach.
The Slytherin Prince could never stop the smile that pulled on his thin lips at your morning routine, no matter if you were mad at him or had a boyfriend, you always greeted your best friend with a hug.
He wrapped his arms around your waist, glancing up at Potter with a cocky smile, "Sleep well, Princess?"
"Of course," You rolled your eyes, slowly pulling away from Draco and stepping closer to Harry, who wrapped his arm around you protectively.
"I heard about you and Potter," Draco explained bluntly, pretending that the boy wasn't there despite his eyes lingering on his hand.
"Oh," You blinked, "I was going to tell you but it only happened last night and I know you--"
"Dovie," Draco cut across, "It's fine," even he was surprised by his words, "I just wanna have a little word with him, that's all,"
You scrunched an eye, waiting until he smiled difficultly, before nodding, giving your boyfriend a soft kiss on the cheek and walking to Hermionie.
"Look, Malfoy if you're gonna --" Harry began,
"Don't bother, Potter. I'm not gonna tell you to break up with her because of her," Draco rolled his eyes when Harry looked confused, "Because it is up to her when she realises she is way out of your league. But for now... just... take it," Once again Harry seemed confused, "If she gives you her heart don't you break it. She's the best thing that you'll ever have,"
"She always has trouble falling asleep. And she likes to cuddle, while under the sheets,"
You had been staying in the Malfoy Manor over the summer, after begging with your parents for half a term. They had only agreed for half the summer, proposing that Draco came back home with you.
His mother had given you the room opposite Draco, already knowing that the two of you would stay up late in one of the rooms -- what she didn't know was that you and Draco rarely slept in separate rooms now.
Therefore on the first night, Draco had placed his head on his pillow for five minutes before he heard his door creak open, "Draco?" He heard your timid voice whisper into the darkroom, curiosity lacing your words, "Are you awake?"
"I saw you five minutes ago dovie, no one can fall asleep that fast," He smirked, raising his head and turning to you. Leaning in the doorway, your hair curled naturally and a large t-shirt he recognised as his own clung to your frame, "Come on," He offered, raising the duvet -- silently laughing as you scrabbled towards the bed and hopped inside, "How come you no longer sleep in your own bed?"
"If it annoys you that much..." You muttered beginning to leave the bed but Draco wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you back to the centre of the bed,
"You know what I mean," He grumbled into your shoulder-- your body heat erupting through the thin shirt,
You shrugged, "I've always found falling asleep difficult, you know? It doesn't affect your sleep, does it?"
"Absolutely not,"
"She likes Pop songs and dancing, and bad trash TV."
When Draco arrived at your home, he wasn't expecting so many muggle items littered around your room. You had piles of CD's next to your player, and a box-like television in the corner, you spent half an hour explaining both to him.
Just before dinner, you placed a silver disk into the speaker and One Direction filled the room. "Come on," You encouraged as 'She's Not Afraid' began to play, twirling and twisting your shoulders to the beat,
"I-- I don't really dance," Draco stuffed his hands into his pockets,
"Come on," you echoed, "No one's watching,"
No one but you, and your eyes felt like a million to Draco. Awkwardly and very stiffly, he shuffled from left to right, "Wow, you really don't dance," you jeered, "If you have moves like that I might have to kick you out," That finally caused him to relax and laugh.
"Is that all Malfoy? I know my girlfriend, thanks," Harry grumbled, going to step away from the blond prince,
But Draco grabbed his hand, "There's still a few other things. She loves love notes and babies."
The two of you were studying over the Winter Break in your local library. It, thankfully, had a cafe next to it so you badgered Draco for a constant supply of hot chocolate with whipped cream.
Just as you were flicking through your final assignment, a father approached the two of you with his baby. "Hi," He spoke up awkwardly, recognition flashing across your face, "Do you mind looking after him for a moment? Just whilst I grab something,"
"Of course," You offered, ignoring Draco's look of protest. The father smiled, placing the child on the seat next to you and disappearing behind two book shelves.
"What are you doing? Why are we looking after a random person's kid?" Draco hissed over the child's head, for some reason believing she wouldn't hear him.
"She isn't a random kid, Draco. They're our neighbours," You rolled your eyes, "Don't tell me you're scared of children," When Draco didn't speak you smirked, "Hey, Addison, look at this," you pushed your finger through the whipped cream, still untouched before placing the dollop on Draco's nose and giggles erupted -- from both her and you.
"And likes giving gifts, she has a hard time accepting a good compliment."
Christmas was always your favourite time of the year, it wasn't that you enjoyed harbouring new things and indulging on chocolate, candy, cake and turkey -- instead, it was because you enjoyed splurging on presents and the bubbling happiness in your stomach when you know that your friends and family appreciate your gift.
Draco sat crossed-legged on the floor, slightly uncomfortable surrounded by your family -- the only savouring factor was that you sat opposite and was smiling for most of the gift-giving section.
It finally came to his turn to open the present from you, and he noticed you roll forward subconsciously.
He placed the neatly wrapped bundle onto his lap, his brain already trying to determine what it could be -- but he hesitated to open it. Your mother mentioned something about needing to check on the food, though she also dragged your father with her, therefore he could only assume that she had noticed his embarrassment.
Your siblings were already playing with their own presents you had bought them -- and he began to relax, knowing it was only you watching. Carefully, he began to remove the wrapping paper, making sure not to tear any of it, though his bottom lip poked out when a little of the decorative side of the paper tore near the sellotape.
Inside was a simple chain with a tin box at the bottom, hesitantly he glanced up before sliding the lid off, a fragrance bubbling around him, one of pure comfort -- the same one he spread across his room when he was stressed... or you were stressed.
"It's solid perfume..." You explained slowly, resting your hands onto your knees, peering over at him, "You said that the spray disintegrated too easily," You became somewhat shy in your explanation, glancing down at the object and puffing your cheeks, squirming in his silence, "I know it's not much and--"
"It's perfect," He responded bashfully, sliding the top closed once more, running his rugged thumb over the snake engraved onto the mental, "Thank you, really. For all of this. You're amazing,"
You snorted, cheeks growing bright red, pushing his arm slightly -- awkwardly, "Shut up, Slytherin Prince,"
"So if you're the one she lets in. Take if, if she gives you her heart don't you break it. She's the best thing that you'll ever have... she'll love you if you love her like that,"
