audience engagement and excitement can absolutely be one pillar of a campaign & allows a project to get additional reach / promotion — but it being the only tactic used repeatedly does not garner more reach. it has you garnering ultimately the same reach, every time, with no real increase or widening of a target audience

you know what, i’m not done!!!! they could garner so much reach with this — louis is the first 1d member to lead/produce a documentary since the band went on hiatus. after EIGHT YEARS! with never before seen clips and first hand accounts from a member who was not only in the band but was involved in pivotal behind the scene decisions, who has been titled the leader of the band by the other members? that not only appeals to current fans and former fans, but also anyone interested in the music industry and the stereotypes/stigma that comes from embarking on a solo career from a boyband. there are so many avenues they can take promo, and they continue to reach out to the same audiences who communicate within the same circles for their promotion. it’s like yelling into a room full of people and saying they need to share it, but they can’t exit said room. let louis do interviews garnered around this, have it as an opportunity to further promote his album and tour, don’t post on an HQ account only dedicated fans pay attention to.
