After hearing that familiar voice, Tharros hurried to Tanith and the suspicious men. The silverette gently moved the woman behind her and glared at the men before him. “You heard her. Leave unless you all wish to have a limb removed..”

Tharros was enjoying a pleasant walk with Kamui, looking at the town bustling with activity due to the festival. His hand was gently holding his beloved’s as they looked at the sights, enjoying having her close. So when he spotted a bundle of mistletoe hanging from a decorative arch, he stopped to gently pull Kamui a little closer. The man leaned in to place a soft kiss upon her lips.. and once more because he couldn’t help himself.

Gently her hands cup her beloved's face. Leaning in, small kisses are placed all over his face. One on his forehead, two on each cheek. Another on top of his nose and the last against his lips, soft but passionate. She holds it for a minute, two more kisses following.

Tharros had a rather tiring day so far, tending to numerous things around the camp. He was feeling weary, that is until Kamui found him. The kisses were very much welcomed and each one seemed to give him a second wind of sorts. How did he manage to have someone like her in his life? Must’ve been a blessing from Naga or whatever deity she looks up to. “Just what I needed.. What would I do without you, My Love?” The paladin pulled Kamui closer, giving her a warm kiss in return.

Thank goodness Tharros didn’t make it any worse for him. Gaius was already nervous, and having to ask him certainly didn’t help any. He took a deep breath and pulled a rather extravagant golden ring from his pocket. His eyes were focused on the ring as he moved it back and forth between his gloved hands.

“See, I was kinda hopin’ I could get your blessing, because…I wanna propose to Nix. I know you don’t exactly approve of me, but I promise to make her happy and protect her forever. I swear on my life. She’s been a huge part of my life and I love her more than anything. So…?”

The moment Tharros saw the ring Gaius had brought out, he had a rather good guess on what was going to be asked of him. That very guess was confirmed when the man finally gathered the courage to speak his thoughts aloud. It seemed the thief wanted to take the most serious and meaningful step in a relationship, proposing to Nix. Part of him wanted to decline giving Gaius his blessing but that was just lingering disapproval talking. Tharros needed to think rationally before giving an answer, taking everything into consideration. Gaius never hurt Nix physically, didn’t break her heart, and had done a fair job in protecting her in battle..

Sure his occupation as a thief was a glaring problem but his sister didn’t seem bothered by it so far. Ultimately it was Nix’s happiness that swayed Tharros’ decision on the issue. If she loved Gaius and was happy with him so far, there was no way he was going to step in the middle of that and make her unhappy. “You are correct that I haven’t approved of you in the past. You are a thief and a cocky human being that lands himself in trouble.. Though you have kept your promise of making Nix happy and safe so far. Any injuries she has sustained weren’t the result of failure on your part.” Tharros took a step forward, placing a hand on the other’s shoulder. A small smile came to his lips as he gave a small nod. “You have my blessing, Gaius.. Just remember that if you break your promise, you will answer to me. Got it?”
