Market Days
This past weekend Boerne had their monthly Market Days located in downtown Boerne at the Main Plaza. Many vendors from surrounding areas attended to showcase their handmade products.
Market Days has been a successful event since 1997, many local residents look forward to the second weekend of every month to see who is going to be vending this month. Many of these vendors come from Helotes, Comfort, Spring Branch, San Antonio, Bulverde, and many other surrounding cities. Each month they average around 3,500 people in attendance.(www.boernemartketdays.com) Each vendor is different, there are people who work from their home, a franchise, or even a boutique. Vendor, Ruby Sue, coming from Helotes, makes her own scarfs, tunics, active wear tunics, active wear headbands, and tunics for girl all handmade.This was her second time returning to market days and when asked what made her want to come back she said, “The cliental is great and many friendly people!”
