We performed this as a cosplay competition intermission in Tracon 2017. This has been a long journey and we all have been working really hard on this. It’s really great to see the whole show in screen now but also kind of sad because it’s over. Hope you enjoy watching this as much as we did making it!

The long-awaited Haikyuu!! -collaboration project is finally here!

We’ll be performing at Tracon 2017 on Sunday 10.9. as an intermission show for the cosplay competitions, along with Rintamasuunta and Operaatio Fredrik! The show will include a CMV from us and stage shows from the other two groups. See you there!! 😉⚾💕

Tracon was last week, so it’s time to speak about that!

So I actually managed to do two new costumes for the convention in a month (on top of helping with 5 others) which was both very fun and quite tiring. On Saturday I was fem!Guren with mintmia as Shinya (desings done by @xatanic) and Sunday was Fai tokyo arc version. (Syaoran is@peikkolapsonen and Kuro-sama is kiipy. Sakura by mintmia too.)

On Saturday I was judge for the first time, which I was pretty scared about, but it turned out to be very interesting and fun experience. Cosplaying this version of Guren was somehow incredibly fun too, I really felt home in the costumes and I had simply best Shinya. I forgot to take any full body pictures, only thing I have is like two selfies, but I pray I can find one picture of myself from the internet later…

Sunday was literally mindblowing to me. Having the whole group felt like all my dreams came true that day. Our Kuro-sama destroyed me basically by being far too perfect and every time I managed to gather myself, they found one new thing to destroy me with (There might be around 2 minute long video of me simply refusing to look at them in the morning).

Overall I need to say tracon was most fun I’ve had whole year. I’m so incredibly thankful for the whole weekend and everyone I spent time with.

After a week I have mostly recovered from my post-convention tiredness! So I finally got around to write something here about Närcon.

If you are interested in my skit (last two pictures are from it) you can watch it here. Actual show starts around 36 minute mark, and my part is at 00:59:00. I do recommend watching the whole show, there were so many good skits and costumes!

I have been basically waiting for whole NCC thing since I qualified in Yukicon. Needless to say, during the whole weekend I was extremely nervous (only slept like 3 hours per night) but thankfully everything went pretty smoothly and there wasn’t any real issues. In the end, this has propaply turned out to be one of the highlights of my whole time as a cosplayer, and big part of that is to these three people; peikkolapsonen was my amazing and creepy brother who supported me in everything, handling hard communications and such when it became hard; mintmia was savior with her prop skills; and aleatha was my emotional support and helped with directing skit. I literally couldn’t have done this without them, so hugest shout out and thank you to them!

People in general were very lovely during the weekend and I got to meet so many amazing people. My fellow team members from Finland and basically every other contestant turned out to be lovely and inspiring people- and I can safely say I’m more excited about doing new cosplays now than ever before. I have also been almost embarrassingly happy about all the good comments I have gotten, reading them again and again. Meeting vandetta cosplay briefly was also one of the highlights of the weekend, and getting to actually talk to them a bit meant the world to me since I started cosplaying thanks to them.

Only thing that keeps bothering me a bit are the not-so-good- angles TV crew used for my skit. For example me throwing my staff looks pretty weak in the TV broadcast compared to fact that the staff is currently in 7 pieces thanks to the force of the impact.

In the event I wore Mahiru with Aleatha on Thursday and Fai World Chronicle version on Saturday when I wasn’t required to be in his normal version. Nirai Kanai Hen version was super fun and comfortable, I hope I get a chance to wear it again!

I took Mahiru with me again to cosvision, and I’m so glad I did since for the first time I got to have photoshoot. I have been in love with the results ever since I saw these.

My hand slipped and I decided to costest fem!Guren version by @xatanic , from light novel (since I happened to have this uniform...)

I got this wig for another purpose but seeing as it is pretty perfect colour and length I wanted to give it a try~ Possibly making full costume for her too since my friend almost promised to make fem!Shinya for me.

Around week ago was Yukicon, and I finally gathered myself to write something here too. First of all, huge thank you to all people who were with me there! 

Yukicon was very strange con for me in a sense both very good and very bad things happened. One of my friends knee got dislocated so badly I needed to call ambulance, other one was terribly sick and my own back was killing me so badly I could hardly sit upright in the evenings. On the other hand, we talked about cmv making at the con with my friends, and that went very well! I was positively surprised there were even that many people listening to us. 

And then the Big Thing, aka Nordic Cosplay Championship! I won the preliminaries and needless to say I’m still quite confused how that managed to happen. There were only two participants at the competition, which was quite a shame. Thank you forever to my fellow competitor for being there! Many people said they liked my acting, but I was personally quite unhappy with it, because I know I can do even better. Now I’m just determinated to make everything even better for next competition!
