                             lets not think about how ysi never thought he’d have anything to his name. lets not think about how he figured he himself would be resigned to marry for the purpose of continuing on his dragonfell lineage and nothing more. lets not look at the fact that sana showed him that there is love in life and it isn't just purely about assigned duties. lets ignore that ysi has only ever loved one person, being sana. lets turn away from the thought that ysi never thought he’d have love or even a family. lets hide the truth that when sana adopted ardan ysi was scared out of his mind, for the fact that this child may fear him like everyone else does. look away when i tell you that ysi loved that child with his entire being. don’t look at me when i say that when ardan died, ysi showed strength in being there for his wife who was broken. but don’t acknowledge that there would be days ysi would fly off and rampage. he would fly until he couldn't any longer and he bordered exhaustion. lets not talk about how he would sob, and i mean gut wrenching sobs over the fact that they’d lost their child. don’t mention to me how ysi and sana mourned for ages over their first child. don’t mention to me how long that winter lasted, don’t stare down the fact that ysi a ruthless and feared king among his own kind -- was brought to his knees in anguish at the death of a human child. lets not acknowledge that.
