@harusomi​ kindly sent me a ask for this ask meme (thank you! ❤❤) Unfortunately I clicked ‘save as draft’ and xkit seems to have eaten it. I’m so upset. xkit has never let me down until this fateful day... this is truly a harsh lesson to learn... 

ANYWAY, I did type up my answers elsewhere, so I still have them! They are under the cut, because this is rather long ish (which, thank you, I do enjoy typing up things about myself and sending them into the cosmic void of the internetz).

2) What fandoms do you write for and do you have a particular favourite if you write for more than one?

BSD is my fave! I've written for various TV show and book fandoms in the recent ish past, though. Also YOI, but I’m not very fannish about it. I DO have a shiny new enemyship that I want to write for Psycho-Pass, too... 

4) What is your favourite genre to write for?

I’m superficial, so I’ll write for anything that lets me have my faves suffer in a more-or-less canonical manner. (They’re so pretty when they’re sad, or injured, or tearing themselves up, or perilously backed into a corner with no escape &c...)

12) Who is your favourite character to write for? Why?

I like writing about Dazai — he’s so wonderfully messed-up on so many different levels. It’s hard to get his POV credible, though.

27) Do you make a general outline for your stories or do you just go with the flow?

answered here! god, for longfic I would die without an outline. ‘This is where X and Y will fuck for optimal badfeels… but they already fucked 3 chapters ago because I have less self-control than them… is badfeels or porn more important… I DON’T KNOW BUT I DON’T WANT TO REWRITE THIS' 

45) What spurs you on during the writing process?

Focusing on my ~vision~ for the fic, the mood/feeling that I want to evoke; the potential end product, really. I don’t enjoy the process of writing much (where is the technology to directly transcribe the stuff in my brain into lovely perfect prose, pls) even though it’s an unparalleled feeling when a sentence or metaphor just clicks into place beautifully. (Like, my brain came up with that, yo. It may be dumb af 99% of the time but it did that ONCE.)

Also reading past comments, because it’s like ’someone said that I could write like that once upon a time. Technically speaking, I should be able to do it again! BRAIN PLEASE COOPERATE.' 

50) If you could write only angst, fluff or smut for the rest of your writing life, which would it be and why?

Smut, because it can be angsty smut, or fluffy smut. Character studies through smut are also my jam.
