⌠ AXEL AURIANT, 20, CISMALE, HE/HIM ⌡ welcome back to gallagher academy, LUC MONTAGNIER! according to their records, they’re a FIRST year, specializing in AWARENESS TRAINING, BREATH CONTROL, HAND TO HAND COMBAT + KNIFE FIGHTING SKILLS, SWORD TRAINING, PRECISION SHOOTING, FIREARMS & SWAT TRAINING; and they DID go to a spy prep high school. when i see them walking around in the halls, i usually see a flash of ( dried blood on busted knuckles, forced smiles and sweat drenched after training ). when it’s the (virgo)’s birthday on 09/17/1999, they always request their SEARED SCALLOPS from the school’s chefs. looks like they’re well on their way to graduation.

HISTORY

the montagnier family was originally located in the south of france until luc’s grandfather moved them to quebec. their empire was in manufacturing all kinds of weaponry and selling them to governments and other spy families and organisations. if you needed something a bit obscure or unique, this was the family you’d come to.

luc grew up in a fairly isolated countryside area in a family of four brothers who he loved for the first few years of his life. first was marc, shy and respectful, luc himself two years behind, and then another two years graced the family with twins; charles and elias who lived by their own rules. marc and luc had always been close, marc was the best big brother possible and luc loved him a lot.

eventually after being pitted and forced to compete against each other for so long, it got quite personal and their bonds started being tested. their mother turned a blind eye to their father’s borderline abusive methods when luc overtook his older brother in their father’s tests and training. bruises and broken bones were only natural in training so there wasn’t much she could say even if she wanted to.

from as long as he could remember, he’d been firing guns. there was a shooting range on their estate and they went on hunting trips, too. his dad often had him show customers the potential of their weaponry and so he’d always been thrusted into that life whether he wanted a say or not. it’s been clear since he was around fourteen that if anyone was taking over the family business it’d be him, not his older brother, marc.

this definitely caused somewhat of a rift between him and marc, as he’d end up getting much harsher punishments when luc would disarm or ground him.

luckily for luc, he did enjoy fighting and was exceptionally gifted in the life planned out for him. he was always the most determined to gain their father’s approval, which definitely showed in their results and how obedient he was in front of the man. when he finally got what he wanted, he didn’t quite expect it to mean what it did. it was rare but every now and then he would kill for his dad. whether it was someone who betrayed the family or a potential threat to their business, if his dad told him to, he would, no questions asked. it was during this time he was more excluded from training with his brothers since he would be with his dad instead.

SUICIDE TW !!!!!!

his oldest brother marc was sent to blackthorne once he was eighteen and ended up committing suicide at the end of his second year, with luc set to follow the next year. this news was shocking for the montagnier family as luc’s father was bitterly embarrassed and disappointed by his firstborns’ death, wanting to cover it up as a murder so it couldn’t be tied to the family name with such dishonour. it quickly created a divide as charles and elias defended marc’s actions and revealed he’d been struggling with depression for the majority of his life, much like they did, which was all unknown to luc, who, for the first time, felt the repercussions of his father’s favouritism. he had a new found rebellion against him that was violent with them going at each other’s throats for the foreseeable future. luc ended up avoiding his place at blackthorne in hopes to piss off his dad and becoming more reclusive and bitter as time went on.

he really took his brother’s death personally, believing he was a factor in it and wishing he’d been there for him more closely. if anyone so much as mentions marc to him he will be on guard and very easily angered. i think before marc died he was very charismatic, egotistical at times and driven whereas now he’s lost a lot of his energy and is more negative & aloof.

the following year was Rough™. he was no longer his dad’s golden boy and the family dynamic shifted a lot with marc’s death as luc ended up protecting his younger twin brothers instead of beating them for their dad’s favour. he’s certain he’d have been disowned had his mother not aligned herself with the kids as well.

i think their family dynamic is kinda like the cha family from sky castle if anyone has seen it !

luc eventually decided to enrol in school late, only to end up at gallagher instead. which… i mean, i think before marc died he was excited about attending blackthorne. so he’s bit ??? uncertain about the girls school.

PERSONALITY

genuinely i think it comes down to so many factors, whether he’s in a good mood, who’s speaking to him etc but neutrally he’s quite charming, happy to mess about a bit but more or less takes most stuff too seriously. since he’s not around his dad i do think he will explore a lot more and seek out adventure and fun but if he’s got a test or something due the next day then he’ll bail early since he is defo the type to never let his grades or performance be ruined

he’s quite cocky + likes to win no matter what so yes he will ruin a friendship to beat u at monopoly. second place is last place in his head.

at his best he can be confident, alluring, courteous, loyal… at his worst he’s aggressive, destructive, apathetic and always says shit he doesn’t mean !!!! will he apologize ?? unlikely but he’ll try n make it right once he’s calmed down

thinks the best way to deal with things is with his fists, he’s so EASY to snap and start a fight n he’ll…. maybe apologise for it

i think he defo likes to pretend he’s got no problems and so reverts to a social, supportive friend every once in a while. the type to be brutally honest !!

he’s a definite know it all, thinks he’s the dog’s bollocks, gods gift etc !!!!! doesn’t believe in god but still. I kinda see him a bit jocky idk why but more brooding n isolating 70% of the time bc he’s easily pissed off but when he’s having fUNNNNN he’s ok like a solid guy at times just easily angered

within the first year at gallagher he did assume a fake relationship with ellie cavanagh to hide his sexuality but they’ve ended things and while he hasn’t openly come out officially, quite a few people know and he’s not so secretive about it ! 

pretty much avoids making new relationships but isn’t the worst person to get to know ? once he’s comfortable with you he’s a completely different person tbh

it's  little  things  like  this  that  make  luc  more  partial  to  someone  than  not .  if  elliot  were  to  not  do  what  she  just  did ,  he  actually  might  have  disliked  her .  luc  is  a  little  picky ,  but  he’s  never  tried  this  cruzan . .  "  alright .  ”  a  pause .  “  like  shots  ?  ”

“If I like a person they get a nickname, so, you’re welcome!” It was silly really, but it was how her brain put it all together. If you got a nickname it meant she was taking the time to build something between herself and that person, something special. A friendship. “Okay, and I also don’t get miserably hungover, you’re not special.” Miraculous, really. A stroke of luck or a stroke of idiocy. “That’s what I said.” Duh. “Ooh… Oh, okay. You know what you should do. Invite me to come over.” Blonde nodded excitedly at the very idea. “This is the summer I stop talking to mommy and daddy dearest so like, I have nowhere I have to be.” And no one to fund her adventures. “Soooo… Yeah? Yeah!”

" unlike  me.  "  hell  say  as  more  of  a  command  than  a  suggestion  ,  a  pointed  glare  towards  her  .  “  though  i  am  . ”  luc  will  say  just  because  he  is  rather  special .  when  ria  begins  to  suggests  what  he  should  do ,  his  gaze  turns  to  her  because  he  is  interested  to  hear  her  point  of  view ,  he  might  find  it  amusing  at  best  .  and  he  does .  "  so  you  need  somewhere  to  stay ,  is  that  it  ?  ”  luc  is  not  charitable  and  he  thinks  ria  would  simply  despise  being  stuck  in  canada  for  the  summer  with  his  family .  “  i’ll  only  allow  it  if  you  participate  in  the  annual  obstacle  course  this  july .  ”   because  he’s  pretty  sure  that  is  something  ria  would  hate  to  do .

“  incorrect .  you’re  not  funny .  ”  luc  will  tell  him  with  a  somewhat  pointed  glare .  he  means  it ,  though  sometimes  tigs  can  be .  “  i’m  sure  she  won’t  miss  me . ”

      Aidan lets out a breathy laugh at his friend’s obvious discomfort. “You do know that absolutely no one in this room will know who those people are, right?” He himself only knows because he was subjected introduced to them during their road trip to Blackthorne. “Come on… Just a little swaying?” He teases, eyebrows raised as a smirk rises. 

“  precisely  what  i’m  talking  about .  pure  insanity .  ”  luc  often  knows  when  he’s  being  dramatic  but  currently  he’s  unaware .  though  he  will  glare  a  little  towards  aidan  and  his  teasing ,  a  hold  on  it  before  his  eyes  roll .  “  would  you  like  me  to  sway ,  aidan  ?  is  that  what  this  is  ?  ”

luc  will  blink ,  taking  a  half  second  to  process  his  mistake  before  promptly  eliminating  the  thought  like  it  never  happened .  “  —  if  you’re  not  above  self  service ,  just  take  whatever  it  is  you  want .  ”

           “i’m honored, bro.” and really, if he didn’t have such an expensive piece of clothing on, he’d be more than happy to snivel and cry the entire evening with it on. especially when it came to luc. rizo looks over the options and points out one that looked particularly tasty. “that one looks good. thank god i’m not allergic to anything.” after a beat, he turned to luc again. “i’m gonna come visit you, you know that right? like..i can kinda drive so .. i’ll drive here.”

luc’s  already  packing  treats  onto  a  plate  but  ensures  to  get  a  few  of  whatever  rizo’s  referring  to  because  they  do  look  good ,  and  luc’s  a  sucker  for  anything  sweet  so  he’s  gone  overboard .  “  we’re  superior  beings .  ”  he  nods ,  including  himself  as  he  is  also  not  allergic  to  anything .  a  power  move  ,  really .  luc  will  shift  his  focus  a  little  to  rizo ,  though  he  isn’t  fond  of  such  conversation .  “  ‘ kinda ’  really  fills  me  with  confidence .  ”  he’ll  say  with  a  small  smile ,  but  it’s  a  little  sad .  “  you  don’t  need  to .  i’m  sure  you’ll  have  a  lot  to  focus  on  once  you’re  out  of  here .  don’t  worry  about  me .  ”

“Lucas.” Not his name, she knew that, but what other nickname would she give him? He needed one. “Your logic is flawed. You don’t have to walk down a stage so you should drink excessively.” Sitting through a ceremony was boring. “Smells like not alcohol.” Which meant it was even more dangerous, “Raspberry vodka? Maybe?” Eh, she didn’t care, taking another sip. “Are you going home for the summer? Will you send me puppy pics?”

"  he'll  sigh  with  a  glare  in  her  direction  ,   ria  knows  that  .  "  no ,  tomorrow  is  just  like  any  other  day  for  me  ,   therefore  i  will  not  be  hungover ,  just  like  any  other  day .  "  so  he'll  just  be  stubborn  instead ,  just  like  any  other  day ,   soft  smile  on  his  lips .  luc  thinks  it  tastes  a  little  like  alcohol ,  though  subtle  and  give  him  a  couple  more  he  wouldn't  notice .   "  i  can  taste  raspberry .  "   he'll  confirm .  "  i'm  trying  to  avoid  it  as  long  as  possible  —  apparently  elias  has  a  girlfriend  now  and  i  won't  be  exchanging  pleasantries .  "  he  rolls  his  eyes .  "  i  will  send  you  photographs .   agnes  was  your  favourite ,  i  know .  "  he  rolls  his  eyes  again  because  he’s  already  on  it ,  ria !

“Well, why don’t you?” He asked him. “It’s easy to do and everyone knows it.”

luc  will  stare  at  emmett  momentarily  because  he  thinks  it's  very  obvious  why  he  does  not  .  "   apologies ,  i've  been  busy .  "  he  says  flatly ,  the  sarcasm  being  the  height  of  how  rude  he'll  allow  himself  to  be  with  emmett .  "  you  don't  need  to  teach  me .  "  because  he'll  shut  down  the  idea  before  he  even  gets  the  chance  to  suggest  it .

“Why’s that halo floating over your head then?” Martina nodded to point her chin above his head, where she thought a halo should be. “Just checking,” she shrugged. “You’d tell me if you’re sad, right?” Say right, Luc. Martina sipped before her eyes widened. Is that a question? “‘This’ Beyoncé?” she repeated incredulously, blinking. “Are we talking about Yoncé, Bey, Sasha Fierce?”

luc  will  try  his  hardest  to  not  roll  his  eyes  but  in  the  height  of  giving  in ,  he  just   looks  upward  as  if  to  check  for  said  halo  instead .  “  a  halo  was  not  considered  for  this  outfit  and  therefore  i  repel  it  . ”  this  is  luc’s  version  of  humour ,  he’s  having  fun ,  honest .  he  scoffs .  “  i  don’t  get  sad .  ”  and  if  he  does  he  doesn’t  even  tell  himself  let  alone  martina .  it’s  luc’s  own  turn  to  blink  .  “  . .  .  beyonce . ”  he  clarifies  again ,  slowly ,  as  if  he’s  unsure  now .

luc  will  expel  a  grateful  sigh .  "  thank  god ,  it's  you .  or  thank  the  devil ,  or  whoever  —  these  people  are  insane .  "   luc  declares ,  eyes  widened  only  slightly  but  for  luc  it’s  a  lot .  "  i  would  understand  if  it  was  emmanuel  pahud  or  you  know ,  even  joël-françois  durand  but  this  ?  ”    index  finger  points  to  the  sky ,  though  he  means  beyonce .  “  i  will  not  be  swayed .  ”

“  i  understand .  ”  luc  does  not .  “  rizo .  he’s  usually  my  date  to  these  things ,  and  it’s  his  last  one ,  so . .  anyone  other  than  me  would’ve  be  a  downgrade  for  him .   ”   and  he  refuses  to  bid  farewell  to  rizo  like  that .

I can see your halo!” Martina serenaded her bestie, tipsy and off-key, as she glided toward Luc, carrying two drinks to where he sulked in a corner. “I… forget the rest,” she giggled. Martina handed him one of the drinks, pouting that he’s being wallflower. “Why the long face, babe?” That’s just his face but with Luc, Martina could never be sure. 

“  martina ,  i  am  clearly  not  a  saint .  ”  luc  says  flatly  because ,  no ,  he  doesn’t  listen  to  beyonce  but  he  will  not  be  assigning  himself  as  saint   nor   sinner .  still ,  he’ll  take  one  the  drink  from  her .  “    —  that’s  just  my  face .  ”   he’ll  clarify ,  though  maybe  he’s  sulking  just  a  little  because  while  he  won’t  admit  it ,  some  of  his  friends  will  be  departing .  “  are  you  a  fan  of  this  beyonce ? ”
