Forgive the lack of replies. I've been super busy playing Soul Sacrifice Delta this week. I'm getting on them today and tomorrow!
I've just realised that I haven't made an introductory post yet. SO.
Hey all, I'm Owen. I am an English grad from England; I've upgraded my skills to being a professional editor for a publisher. I've RPed for... 3 years now? 4? Does it even matter? All you need to know is that I'm Milla Maxwell here and maybe will soon have a Master too - that's all you care about, right?
As Guerra is currently in the peacocking stage if anyone wants to thread with me or even take Milla on as a Servant, please don't hesitate to ask! You can find me on my personal at insertrupee and my Twitter is here. Both are good places to get hold of talk to me if ya'll be friendly and stuff.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm just a really cool guy.
He was off making another alcohol run, and returning back to his normal haunt when he was halted in his tracks by an absurd question asked by an equally absurd woman, another servant by the stench of her. He looked at where her eyes fell upon. As he looked back on it, that might have actually been his fault. Not like he cared, but still.
"You’re an idiot."
She didn't show a response to the other Servant, deciding to just stare at him after he insulted her. What a brazen one he was. She mulled over what to say, choosing the words carefully.
"And here I hoped you'd at least have been civil. I suppose you're the type of Servant that needs the Command Seals. Still, I doubt even you'd be foolish enough to start a pointless battle when you're close to disappearing, before the first round has even begun."
The Servant stood at the side of the street, not moving as others crossed the road. As someone walked passed her, she simply begun to as them a question.
"You know, just a few hours ago there were two smashed cars here, and a few ambulances. But if I didn't tell you that, would you have noticed?"
"It sort of amazes me still, that things like that can just disappear."
â™› foreseer | lucina & milla
Who would have thought that a hero from another world could be a participant in the Holy Grail War?
She could already sense a lot of servants here and she couldn’t help but wonder if anyone from her world would be a participant too. A part of her was hoping not but… Seeing a familiar face after being dead for so long wouldn’t be too bad.
She wondered what type of master would call to her. She should be finding a master soon but she wasn’t in too much of a rush. Instead, she was enjoying some tea time and there may have been a few pastries near her too.
“… Things are starting to get more interesting.” It was a calm before the storm after all. Soon, the real fights were about to begin. And while Lucina may look peaceful right now, she was going to give it her all in this war.
She still had one more thing to do for her past life.
With no Master yet, Milla had a limited amount of options with with to restore lost mana. They were simple pleasures really, and eating was the favourite of the Servant by far. She did not need to eat for the first twenty years of her life, after all, and only got to experience the activity for a few months before dying.
It was at a random café she had stopped by as she was searching for a suitable Master where she has ordered a large sundae - her sweet tooth being surprisingly large for a deity, where she heard another person talk to herself.
The words carried meaning, and it didn't take Milla long to feel the familiar presence of a fellow Servant emanating from the blue haired teenager. Maxwell picked up the large glass containing her dessert and moved behind the other Servant to sit down, still scooping the ice cream out as quickly as she did so.
"Yes. Very interesting..." she said between mouthfuls, "You never know... who's... around..."
A soft blink and a quiet stare — Chizuru hadn’t meant to overhear the other female’s comment, though she finds herself hard-pressed to avoid a response now.
”If I may, Miss, I doubt it’s your attire which they find their eyes drawn to.”  She almost has trouble continuing, having to gulp down a small knot and hide a rose tint to her cheeks as she speaks again.  ”Servants have a particular allure about them, especially the beautiful heroines.”
There, she’s said it.  Now she’s going to bury her head in the nearest ancient mosaic floor.
Maxwell turned around, surprised that someone could have actually heard her among the group. Even more surprising was when the girl in front of her actually mentioned the word 'Servant'. It was a shock, almost one that would have knocked her off balance if the would-be Master didn't suddenly turn bright red at the compliment.
Milla gave a slight smile at the reaction, chuckling to the rather childish behavior.
"Oh my! Aren't you a bold one. I certainly wasn't expecting something like that to come from a, well, from someone like you. Admittingly I've never even seen another before, but, still it doesn't make it any less of a surprise."
He had no idea what a servant was supposed to look like. In truth, Koyomi was one of the most unprepared for the Holy Grail War— not having expected it, nor really wanted any part of it in the first place.
But, disregarding that…
What exactly was he supposed to think when he saw one of these elusive servants standing there, plain as day, looking so… normal. And in a school uniform of all things?! … And how exactly was he supposed to approach this situation, anyways? His mind grew heavy with confusion.
As a result, the young adult whom stood a couple inches shorter than the servant before him merely stared at the other blankly from afar.
The Servant turned her head slightly, feeling as if someone was once again fixating on her. Sure enough, there he was. Standing there with a gawkish look on his face.
He was a Master, no doubt about it.
She moved towards him, staring down at him, trying to soak everything up about him in one go. Did he already have Servant attached to him? She felt that he didn't... but one can never be too sure. She put her head close to his ear and begun to whisper.
"Excuse me, I'm pretty sure from your expression you know exactly who I am, so do you mind answering a question I have?"
The sensation of a fellow servant captured his attention almost immediately, prompting him to at least catch a glimpse, if not ultimately approach. Since her concerns were both understandable and relatable, he saw no harm in giving some advice from his experience. It’s not as if there was some danger to be had should he do so, anyway.Â
“Maybe it’s your hair," he pointed out, waving casually to indicate he held no hostilities. "I know I got stared at less once I tied mine up.”
There was no need to guess who they both were; they could both plainly tell that the other was a Servant. Still, there was also no need to be too wary around this spirit - the war had yet to start, and if Milla was careful enough then there was no problem of revealing any information that might come back to bite her later.
Though, he seemed friendly enough at this point. Milla grabbed the clumped together green strands that were found at the top of her blonde hair and nodded. It was always rather long...
"Ah, I suppose you are right. Still, it does seem like a rather silly thing to constantly point out. All hair grows, after all. But at the same time, I suppose people never do change, do they? Always focusing on the silliest things..."
In one of the lesser-packed streets of Rome's meandering geography a woman, obviously in her young 20s, yet for some reason wearing a school uniform, attempts to find a place to disappear to. Stopping to look around, she crossed her arms and whispers under her breath in an attempt to process her predicament.
"Hmm, strange. I thought I was successful in blending in with this era's fashion. But for some reason people keep looking and pointing to me..."
