I like to think that Asmo takes the most immense joy in painting everyone's nails. Leave your hand too still for more than five minutes and he's already picking out colours.
When he's stressed while doing paperwork, Asmo will sneak in and take his hand, tut loudly, and seat himself next to him. On the desk if he has to.
He won't make any remarks about Lucifer obviously being stressed, nor will he talk about the work. He talks about the day they've had, what the brothers have been up to, plans for the weekend, anything but work
Lucifer always mutters a threat if he gets any polish on the desk or the papers, but Asmo has the most nimble fingers, he never would.
Lucifer allowed him to do it to humour him at first,figuring that since he wore gloves that it wouldn't matter either way. But now he considers it very special bonding time between the two of them, and wouldn't trade it for the world
He protests. Of course he protests. He can hardly keep still long enough to let them dry, Asmo shops for polishes that are quick-dry and long-lasting specifically for Mammon
Asmo catches him whenever he's in a bad mood and does it then. Either he's so restless that being forced to sit still calms him down, or he's so upset that he's already still enough, and having someone just touching his hands helps ground him, and get him out of his head
Pretends he doesn't like it, because of course he does. But he closely inspects his nails afterwards, and blows on them like a still-smoking shotgun. Asmo rarely makes mistakes, but if he does, Mammon picks up on it right away with a loud "Oi!"
He loves the time they spend together. He tells himself that HE is the one looking after Asmo, not the other way around. He probably knows deep down that it goes both ways... Probably.
Asmo times it with Levi's gaming and anime habits, and tries to catch him either between gaming sessions, or when there's a binge session about to happen. If he's been gaming for a long time he'll make sure the joints in his fingers are taken care of as well. It can't be good being so tense for that long! ❤️
There's a very, very small overlap in their interests. Asmo always has to start the conversation, but knows that once Levi gets talking he won't stop. He also knows that Levi gestures with his hands a lot, so it's a balancing act to make sure the conversation doesn't get too wild.
Levi grumbles a little if he doesn't want to take a break from his gaming, but lets him do it, and always thanks Asmo when he's done. He really does love the finished result, especially since the colours match his favourite controller.
Once Asmo has left, he'll sit and look at his nails for a while. He has a folder on his phone that's just photos of his hands in different spots, poses, and lighting that capture his nails differently. His favourite is one where his hand is against the glass of the fish tank and it looks like Henry 2.0 is swimming between his fingers
Asmo knows how much Satan hates it when people read over his shoulder, but he needs to take a peek to see what book he's reading first. He's only able to get away with doing his nails if it's a really wordy text, and Satan won't be flipping through the pages too fast
He'll ask about the book to slow him down further, but he knows that talking about it will also help him grasp the material better. He has to GRIP his hands though, since he's another one that gesticulates
Satan won't let Asmo come near him if it's a particularly valuable book, and will mutter every time about not getting polish on the pages like Lucifer but likes the ambience of it.
It's torture for him to not pet a cat until the nails are dry, but he doesn't want Asmo to stop. He ends up buying a quick-dry polish and asking Asmo to use it, and Asmo is thrilled, naturally.
It's once he's finished a big meal or nothing. The window to paint his nails is VERY narrow and has to be timed perfectly.
Asmo just adores how Beel's painted nails look on his massive strong hands, and tells him every time. From the way he smiles when Asmo does it, it's easy to forget who the younger sibling is.
Beel is a quiet one, so he won't say much while he's having them done, but he'll ask about the process, the different types of polishes, the nail care, he likes hearing Asmo talk about it. It's fun just to entertain him sometimes.
The process slightly numbs the endless hunger, so Beel secretly makes sure he's within earshot of Asmo when he finishes a big meal. He can't help but grin when he hears his footsteps when he's running to his room and running back with everything he needs, and acts surprised every time. He loves it.
Asmo tries to catch him when he can't sleep, but their sleeping patterns almost never align since Belphie sleeps during the day, and Asmo likes to get early nights to look after his skin. He'll grab him whenever he thinks he'll tolerate it.
He complains, he whines, and he sometimes falls asleep. But he won't pull his hands away, ever. Asmo hums while he does it, and Belphie pretends he isn't listening.
Asmo doesn't mind it when Belphie falls asleep while he's doing it, since that means there's more he can get away with. If he's very lucky, he'll even be able to cleanse his skin and wipe the sleep out of his eyes. Ever one to push his luck.
Belphie enjoys it. He never used to, but he values the quiet time, and since he usually dozes off, it's nice to wake up to manicured hands. He usually resists Asmo's doting, but he'll let his big brother get away with this much.
