It's that time again!! Happy Open the Floodgates weekend everyone! In celebration, I will finally post the finished Queen cards! Of course all credit goes to the amazing @pseudopossum for their amazing original sprites!

The expressions are on point and I am impressed on how you made to make them mirror so well! Aaaah! I love them all especially Big Mama and April! The fire effects on April's bat and Karai's hand are also so cool and stylized! Your hard work definitely paid off and you should be extremely proud of it because this is amazing! So far, one of my favorite art pieces made for Open the Floodgates! Seriously, keep up this incredible work! I definitely agree with the opinion that every character he plays is himself in a different font. And I love that about him! Greetings, dear viewers! I am back with more notebook doodles and as promised they are Rise of the TMNT ones! As well as alternative reality versions of my Sonic OC, Katrina. I drew the Rise characters without reference and at night after I finished my journaling (My journal entries are less about emotions and more of what I did that day like the first letters written by Violet in Violet Evergarden). Also my journal is Sonic themed and I love it. My favorite out of these doodles is the Donnie swinging pose. I thought it would be funny to also draw Kirby copying Donnie (one proper copy ability and one where Kirby stole the tech bo) and Mikey's abilities. An interesting note to make is that I haven't freely drawn characters from a fandom like I did with Rise before. Sure there are a couple of doodles but not a full blown page which just goes to show how much I love these characters. As for why I drew a dystopian and idol AU version of Katrina, it is part of the official story and wanted to lay out some parts and designs. It will take a looooooong while before we get to that part of the story so I don't mind sharing some tibits of it now. Alright that's all for now! I hope you enjoyed these art pieces. Hello there and welcome back to my little corner of the Internet! Guess what? I decided to join @mkthedingus DTIYS! This is my first time drawing the turtle tots and joining a DTIYS which was a fun and interesting challenge. It also gives me another chance to draw the Rise turtles in general. I realized while exporting the drawing, I accidentally made Donnie bigger than Leo and can't change it without having to overhaul a lot of details and for that I am sorry I didn't mean to do that. I still love how it turned out! Once again, I had a lot of fun doing rendering, especially for the water! The main difficulty in this piece was drawing Donnie's hands holding the water gun and Leo's hands carrying Donnie. I think they worked out fine in the end. I thought it would be funny that while Mikey got jumpscared, Raph catches a fish that decided to jump up onto the float when Mikey's foot hit the water so I added it in the drawing. I am back with more Rise of the TMNT doodles ! Also Happy International TMNT day! I was genuinely surprised to learn it was today but it is a good thing because I finished these doodles today. It's a nice coincidence. Mikey has been the easiest to draw if only because I make his head very circular. Raph is my favorite in this bunch of doodles! Yes, these are still in my English notebook and I have just accepted that my notebook will be filled with more fandom and other types of doodles than actual notes. Some of these are just me drawing Season 1 and 2 (Lair Games) moments from memory and without reference and others are just me drawing the turtles in random poses. It is always fun to do. Leo will always be tricky in doodles but I don't mind the challenge. I have been drawing him more because I wanted to practice drawing him for the inside of my sister's birthday card. She is Leo and Mikey a lot of the time plus Leo is her favorite so I need to include him!

I am back with more Rise of the TMNT and OC doodles! I am at two pages full of doodles...how...I am genuinely surprised with myself and my current rate, I doubt this will be the last page. This show has somehow gotten stronger in investment over the course of just a couple of weeks despite the fact I got into Rise over 2 years ago. I love how I decided in my English notebook to make angst art of Raph and Leo and then just doodled Mikey cooking afterwards. The hardest doodle was the Big Mama one which I think turned out well. Donnie is still the most drawn of the Rise characters though Raph is climbing into second place. By far my favorite doodles are the pair ups of the Rise characters with my OCs, specifically Opal and Leo. Those two share massive similarities and some personality traits. Now Crystal may seem as an odd choice for Donnie but out of all my OCs, she is the most subdued in her personality which is to say she doesn't have the same big displays of emotions like Katrina would. I need to draw her more. Laika would be fascinated by Donnie's tech and absolutely take notes if he started info dumping. Katrina and April were chosen mainly due to personality compatibility. I might make some of these doodles into digital pieces. We will see how things play out.
I also made concept art for a new character: Madame Hera, the main mentor figure for my Sonic OCs, mainly for Laika as time goes on. Why Laika? For spellbook mastery. I will explain the world and magic system for my characters in another post. Speaking of my OCs, I decided to doodle Tala more on this page, mainly being her more quirky side especially with being a theatre kid at heart.
