Why I still watch OUAT…
Who got Lana to sign this? It’s brilliant!
Caption: “It’s not my fault I help girls realize they’re lesbians.” Charming “what?!?!”
And of course Lana signed and wrote “#TrueDat and PROUD!”
As if I couldn’t love this woman any more.
guys this was 100% what the dialogue was.

WE WON! WE DEFENDED OUR TITLE!!!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO VOTED FOR SWAN QUEEN AND HELPED MAKE THIS COME TRUE!
We faced some tough rounds but working together we managed to overcome all the difficulties and obstacles thrown at us.
It doesn’t matter if we get an interview or not, this win is ours and no one can take it from us.
Swen has shown an enormous dedication to Swan Queen and especially to our fandom once again. We can be proud, no other ship managed to win the Ultimate Femslash Tournament two years in a row.
THANK YOU SWEN!
AND VIVA LA SWAN QUEEN!!!
My four year old: “Mommy, for Halloween next year I want you to be Regina, and Mama, you can be Emma... And I can be Dumbledore!”
Ok because I'm generally curious
I keep seeing that swan queen is the biggest fandom out there and I want to test it If you’re a swan queen shipper reblog this post If you ship captain swan head over here If you ship swan thief head over here

There is a post that I’ve reblogged a couple of times over the months…. about how heteronormativity is so strong that little girls don’t notice the crushes they have until they are much older because being gay is an adult thing. It just crossed my dash again and it made me think about my first crush.
She was a character from a scifi television show, so like so many of my crushes later in life, her name was Juliette Parish and she was a medical student turned resistance fighter on the event television of the early to mid 1980s, V.
Forgive the hair. It was 1984. She was was played by an actress named Faye Grant. V was a nazi/holocaust resistance narrative with alien invaders, and it included what I recognize now as the evil lesbian trope in it’s main villain.
I was 5-6 when I had this crush. It would be more than a decade before I even thought to articulate that I might be gay. I had a number of crushes on fictional women after her. But when I hear people talk about how somehow female friendships are too important to make them sexual, or how you don’t need gay characters on television where they don’t show much sex at all, I think about this show… and I think about six year old me, and if maybe I would have been a happier young girl if I had had the language to understand.
So my friends… tell me about your first fictional lady crush. Reach back deep. Not just the first one you recognized at the time. Tell me about the first one you recognize now.
Mine would be Carrie Fischer. I was a big Star Wars nerd when I was a kid. Of course, I never would’ve called it that. Not in a million years.
Yeah - protect little girls with intense crushes on other girls
Beverly Crusher. I was four when I started watching TNG (during the original run) and I loved everything about her. It was probably a crush by season 6 or seven, when I was old enough to have crush-like thoughts at age 11.
agent 99 on get smart! i grew up on nick at night reruns and she was just so cool and competent and beautiful
I was trying to remember my little girl crush. It was Maria on Sesame Street. My whole face used to light up whenever she was on screen.
Mine was Jenny from The Muppets Take Manhattan, when I was 8. I kept a picture of her hidden in my bedside table and every night at bedtime I’d take it out and hide under the covers so I could look at her. I remember being so scared that my mom would discover it, though I didn’t quite understand why she would be upset.
Alright SWEN I know there’s a lot of mixed emotions going on in our fandom right now but this is something positive we can put our energy into! Let’s win this final round and hold on to our title!
