When you've got 3 WIPs to finish but this guy comes along and sidetracks everything.
"Mama?" Eyas asked, her nose touching Kinsley's as she patted her mother's cheek gently. Kinsley's eyes opened slowly, and all she could see were Eyas's eyes. She was sitting on her mother's chest, and she bounced with glee when she saw that her mother was awake. The wind rushed from Kinsley's lungs and she groaned. She sat up, scooping her daughter up into a hug. Eyas giggled and threw her little arms around Kinsley's neck.
"Good morning, sweetheart," Kinsley greeted her daughter tenderly. As she did, she remembered the events of the night before, glancing around to see if Bucky was still nearby - and hopefully, fully clothed.
"Mama?" Eyas asked, leaning back from the hug. "Where's your nightgown?" She asked, utterly baffled by her mother's bare shoulders and the blanket she clutched under her arms for modesty.
"What?" Kinsley asked, acting surprised and looking down at herself. "Oh my goodness! What a silly goose I am, I forgot my nightgown!" She declared.
"Silly mama!" Eyas agreed, giggling along with Kinsley's exaggerated laughter.
"Hey," Bucky said from the hallway. He leaned against the arched entry, arms crossed over his chest and a smile on his face. "What's going on in here?" He demanded playfully. Eyas squealed and put herself between Bucky and Kinsley, making herself as big as possible by stretching all of her limbs and standing on her toes.
"Don't look!" She declared. "Mama nakey!" She squealed jumping up and down. "No boys!" Bucky laughed in surprise and covered his face with both hands.
"Oh no!" He declared, like an old lady clutching her pearls. He turned his back to them but stayed where he was.
"Her's silly," Eyas offered by way of explanation, giggling like Shirley Temple.
"So silly!" Bucky agreed. "She can't eat breakfast nakey!"
"No!" The girl giggled.
"Baby, why don't you take Bucky into the kitchen and get breakfast while I get dressed? I'll be there in just a minute."
"OK! C'mon, Buppy," Eyas replied. She rushed to join Bucky in the hall, taking one of his vibranium fingers in her tiny hand and leading him to breakfast. Now that he mentioned it, Kinsley could smell the coffee, bacon, and blueberry pancakes. Her stomach growled for the first time in days. It felt good to have an appetite again. She never ate much when she felt unsafe. Bucky cast a cheeky glance back over his shoulder and Kinsley dropped the blanket for a moment, flashing him. Bucky's face lit with amusement, his cheeks reddening a little. He grinned at her, then let the tiny ruler of the house lead him to breakfast. Kinsley smiled to herself as she showered quickly, the ache between her legs a pleasant reminder of what had happened the night before. Once she was clean and dressed, she joined the pair at the table. Bucky's plate was already empty and he was pretending to steal food from Eyas' plate to keep her eating rather than getting distracted.
"Hi, mama," Eyas said with a smile.
"Hi, mama," Bucky said, too. The man knew how to flirt, Kinsley thought to herself. It wasn't about the words, but the tone and timbre of his voice. It was the way he looked at her while he said it.
"Good morning," Kinsley greeted them again while she fixed her plate. She sat down across from them and ate silently while Eyas and 'Buppy' play fought over the last of her bacon.
Her heart soared, and Kinsley felt all floaty and discombobulated. What was this? Because it felt like heaven to her.
************************************
After breakfast was said and done, and Eyas was in front of the TV singing along with Steve and searching for blues clues, thanks to a VHS tape from a resale store in the nearest village, Kinsley went back into the kitchen. Bucky had just finished washing up the dishes. He dried his hands on a towel and smiled at her.
"Hi," he said, mimicking their banter from the night before. He hung the towel over the faucet and leaned one hand against the countertop.
"Thanks for breakfast," Kinsley told him.
"You needed a solid night's rest," he told her. "Did you sleep well?" Kinsley's cheeks reddened as his eyes caught hers, and the corner of his mouth twitched up slightly.
"Ah, well..." she stuttered, flustered under the weight of his gaze. Did he realize how intense it was when he looked at her that way? "I did, yes."
"Good," Bucky said, nodding his head once as if he had accomplished a task and was checking it off on a list. He didn't mention that he had been unable to sleep, watching over her instead. He memorized every moment; the smell of her thick, soft hair, the smoothness of her skin. Her softness against his body had been a boon to his weary soul. "Today, you and I are going to start doing some investigating. Now that you've told me everything, I want to be proactive. You can't keep running forever." Though she knew, logically, that this was probably exactly what it seemed on the surface, Kinsley's heart fell and she felt the familiar wave of rejection. Immediately she tensed up, her stomach turning and breakfast threatening to crawl back up her throat. While she struggled to find the composure to act naturally, Bucky stepped forward, reaching out to touch her shoulder. He bent his head down to try and catch her eyes.
"What's wrong? What did I say?" He asked sincerely.
"Nothing, no, nothing's wrong," Kinsley said. Was her voice too strained? She thought she was acting nonchalant.
"Your heart rate spiked, you went pale and you stink of adrenaline," he told her.
"I *stink*?" Kinsley said, acting offended. "You really are out of practice, aren't you?" Bucky sighed and rolled his eyes. He grabbed both shoulders now and pulled her into his arms. She bristled despite the sweet gesture.
"Do I have to tickle you until you cheer up like you do to Eyas?" He asked, his voice a playful whisper. There was an implication to his tone that sent a flash of excitement through her veins. When she didn't reply fast enough, Bucky ran his fingertips lightly along her side and she jumped.
"No!" She declared, just like her daughter did when they played this game because Eyas was pouting. "Stop!" There was laughter in her voice now, despite her irritation. Bucky laughed, too, and tickled her all the more until she was squeezing and trying to get away.
"OK! OK! I give up!" She finally cried out, laughing so much it was hard to breathe. She threw her head back in laughter and forgot the fear of rejection altogether. Bucky had her pinned against the counter, and he took the chance to kiss along her exposed throat.
"That's not fair!" She objected weakly. Bucky pressed his forehead to hers.
"I'm not going to let you get hurt," he told her. "And I have no intention of leaving you unless you tell me to." He promised. The way he'd so quickly surmised the situation was a little annoying, but it was also such a relief. She searched for a witty comeback or sarcastic quipped but her train of thought was interrupted when he cupped her face in his hands and kissed her slowly.
"No-no!" Eyas scolded them, running into the room and trying to push them apart.
"Woah, hey!" Bucky said, backing away. He put his hands up in surrender. Kinsley scooped Eyas up, assuming she didn't like the fact that Bucky was getting kisses from her mother when she had always been the only one to get her affection.
"What's wrong?" She asked while Eyas squirmed and struggled to get free. She threw her arms out to Bucky.
"Buppy!" She cried for him to take her. When he did, she laid her head on his shoulder and wrapped her tiny arms around his neck. There was a long moment of stunned silence. When Bucky and Kinsley's eyes met they began to laugh. Eyas growled and hugged Bucky tighter.
"I can't kiss Bucky?" Kinsley asked her little girl.
"No!" She replied quickly.
"Why not?" Bucky asked lightly. "I like kissing your mama." He shot a flirtatious glance at Kinsley as he said this.
"No!" Eyas insisted. She put one hand on Bucky's cheek and looked him in the eye. "You *my* Buppy." She asserted firmly. Bucky made his face serious and nodded.
"Can I be yours *and* your mama's?" He asked. He leaned in conspiratorially and whispered something in the little girl's ear. Still serious, she turned to study her mother thoughtfully. Then she reached her arms out for Kinsley and hugged her.
"You can kiss *me*, mama. Not Buppy," Eyas told her, shaking her head for emphasis.
"Not Bucky?" Kinsley asked, acting sad.
"No," she said plainly. She even reminded Kinsley of Bucky in some of her habits. The way they say 'no', for example. She coughed to stifle a threatening guffaw.
"Not even once?" Kinsley asked, holding up her finger.
"No."
"That's right, mama. Who said I wanted to kiss you anyway?" Bucky teased.
"Oh! Is that what you're doing?" Kinsley exclaimed.
"What I'm *not* doing is kissing you anymore," he retorted. He bit his lower lip and looked at her from the tops of his eyes, his head bent forward. It should have been a goofy face, but even this was charming. A thrill exploded inside as she began to fully process everything that had happened in the last 8 hours. She was as bad as a 12-year-old with a crush on the cool boy at school. She'd never felt such intimacy with anyone else in her life.
Bucky picked Eyas up in one arm and walked past Kinsley toward the door. He walked backward as if afraid to turn his back on her. Eyas extended a hand as if to hold her back should Kinsley try and attack Bucky with kisses. Once they were through the door, Kinsley could hear Bucky and Eyas chatting playfully. After a moment, Bucky leaned around the corner of the kitchen door and pulled Kinsley into a lingering kiss.

Chapter 10 of Finders Keepers over on AO3
Haven reminded Sam of a cat. She moved gracefully, silently - every gesture languid and relaxed. She had drifted around the bunker like a ghost from a gothic novel. Beautiful, mesmerizing, and unsettling. Of course, she might say the same of him - only he would be more like a cat that froze and stared at you nervously when you noticed him. She was poised to pounce, and he was ready to retreat. He wanted to study her. He wanted to understand her. He wanted to know who she was, what she was... but she was also just a woman. A person. Who wanted to be examined like some ... *freak*? He remembered how awful it was to feel that way, and he didn't wish that on anyone.
He had tried to convince Dean to let them go with him and Wren to see the collection of supernatural items she'd stashed away since coming to the US. It was easier to study Haven while they were locked in a car together for hours. He wouldn't need an excuse to talk to her or just be near enough to be included in other conversations she was in. At the bunker, just the two of them, things were a bit trickier. He could only ask her how she was or if she needed anything so many times before it was evident that he didn't want to let her out of his sight.
She spent a lot of time searching through Sam's supplies of incense, candles, herbs, and other arcane ingredients. She didn't ask their names or what they were used for. She just held them. Sometimes, she'd cup her hands and close her eyes while she did. Other times, she might sniff or even taste something. She reminded him a little of Jack, learning about life all at once. As if she had the body of an adult and the innocence of a child.
Sam knocked on her door, running a hand through his hair absently. He felt a bit like a kid, himself, when she was around. Like an awkward pubescent boy with a crush. He could hear music through the door. Joni Mitchell played the piano and sang about both sides of love. The melancholy song had a soothing effect on him, settling his nerves. When the door opened, he smiled softly at Haven. His heart rate jumped as his eyes scanned down her body in a silk robe, and he suspected, nothing much else. Her long hair was pinned messily up, tendrils falling around her face. Tiny braids in her hair held her bun together somehow. Her aquamarine eyes smiled at him as she looked up into his own eyes.
"Hi," she greeted him simply.
"Hi," he replied. For a moment, the energy that buzzed between them rendered him unable to speak. He stood there, wishing he could speak, but utterly unable to think of anything but the way he felt as if she were a magnetic pulling him in with some unseen force. She was an enigma. A riddle he couldn't solve, and he couldn't stop trying. His inate need to understand things kept her attention the forefront of his mind these days. He hadn't even begun to find an answer to the problem of the cursed pick axe because he couldn't focus on it.
"Come in," she told him, breaking the silence.
"I, uh, I found this book," he told her, brandishing the volume he'd carried to the dorms. It was about psychic phenomena, astral projection, and all of the stuff he and Dean once would have considered impossible. "I thought it might, I don't know... it might help you understand your abilities."
"That's very sweet," she told him, accepting the leather bound book. Her fingers brushed his, sending a jolt of energy through them both. "Come in. I could use some company."
Sam tried to push down the flurry of excitement that felt like a swarm of butterflies in his chest and belly. His skin flushed with a sudden sweat. He knew where this would probably lead. He was good at reading a situation. He didn't want to assume anything, of course, but there was a sort of energy between them. He wasn't sure it was a good idea. He'd never had a healthy relationship that ended well for the woman he cared about, after all. It seemed as if Haven and Wren would be around for a while longer, and casual sex might easily turn into more. Or it might just make things awkward. Haven took his hand and stepped closer, looking directly up into his eyes.
"Stop trying to predict the future, Sam," she told him with a sweet smile. Sam let out a breath of relief and smiled shyly back.
"Right," he chuckled. She knew things. Did she know...? Sam's thoughts were interrupted when Haven led him into her room and directed him to set on the bed.
"Will you indulge me in that cleanse?" She asked. Sam felt a little blindsided. His mind had been preoccupied.
"What, uh... what does that entail?" He asked cautiously. Haven loved Sam's nervous smile. She wanted to kiss him already, but it would probably lead to this encounter ending much sooner than she would like. He was already showing a bulge in his jeans, and she could feel the desire radiating him like heat from the sun.
"Well, first, I'll have you get undressed..." she told him, gently running her fingers through his soft hair. She was looking down into his eyes now, rather than up. It was like night and day. He was still such a little boy inside. A little boy starving for love and affection.
She knew what that was like.
"Uhh..." Sam chuckled nervously.
"You can cover up. It's just a massage. Have you ever had a massage?" She asked. Sam was so drawn into her eyes he was having a hard time keeping his thoughts clear.
"No. Never had a massage," he murmured.
"Well, you're about to," she told him. She moved away, pulling some things out of her top drawer. A bottle of some sort of massage oil, some incense, and a sheer blue scarf. She draped the scarf over the lamp, dimming the light and softening the atmosphere. She lit the incense. It was familiar, but Sam couldn't place it. He couldn't explain how it made him feel because it was a new sensation - but it was good. He felt *safe*.
"Do you want me to go?" She asked. Sam was alarmed at the thought. Why would she think he wanted her to leave? "While you get undressed." She added with amusement in her eyes.
"Oh. Uh, I... no. No, it's ok," he said, rising to his feet and unbuttoning his flannel shirt. His fingers didn't want to work as quickly as his brain told them to, but Haven wasn't watching at least. He took a deep breath, his heart was pounding with nerves and a healthy dose of anticipation. Now that he was giving in to the feeling, he was overwhelmed with the need for her. He wanted to touch her and be touched so badly he considered just grabbing her and kissing her, then carrying her to her bed and hurrying things along. But he knew it would be better if he just followed her lead, and so he did. While she warmed the fragrant massage oil in her hands, he folded his clothes and put them on the desk. He didn't know what to do, so he found himself standing there, half erect and trying to hide it with his hands.
"Lay on the bed, sweetheart. Face down. Use that throw blanket to cover you up if you'd like," Haven told him. She was still trying to pretend she wasn't looking. Her body was reacting to his, though, in the way that a woman's body should. Her nippled drew tight, and the light brush of the silk against them was delicious torture.
Sam did as she asked, throwing caution to the wind by refusing the blanket and simply stretching out at an angle on the bed so that his feet didn't overhang the mattress too much. He closed his eyes and tried to calm his racing heart. The music was still slow and soft, and if he weren't so turned on, he might've fallen asleep. He felt Haven get on the bed with him, straddling his waist and sitting back on her heels. The warmth of her skin against his naked hips sent a shock of lust through him as he realized she was naked, too. He felt the light brush of her against his skin - she was warm, soft, and *wet*. If he'd doubted the inevitable outcome of this encounter before, he was no longer unsure. His cock throbbed with eagerness, pressing into the mattress below. She started by massaging his shoulders and back, kneading deep into his muscle and slowly releasing tension he had carried with him for much of his life.
She warmed her hands with more of the fragrant, slippery oil and then massaged each of his arms, lingering on his biceps perhaps a bit longer than necessary. She massaged the palms of his hands and in between his fingers, the switched to his neck and scalp. She sat against the small of his back now, and he felt her spread open against his skin. Every slight movement created more friction and he swore he could feel her growing hotter and wetter as she rubbed his neck and up into his hair. He moaned despite himself when he felt her hard nipples grazed the skin on his back. He ached to roll over and touch her, but he bit his lip and held back. He had never been touched so thoroughly - there wasn't and inch of skin she missed. She turned and sat backward now, massaging his long muscular legs and feet. She slid the warm, wet palms of her hands over his firm ass, squeezing slightly with the last touches. Sam was squirming, every bit of his body begging him to grab her and ravaged her like some rogue in a romance novel. The cheesy ones, with the bare chested pirates or kilted scotsmen on the cover with a swooning lady.
"Ok, roll over," she told him, standing and giving a playful tap on one cheek. "Let me do the front."
"Oh, uh..." Sam pushed himself up on his elbow. There was no hiding his condition from her if he rolled onto his back. Haven offered him the blanket, and this time, he accepted it.
It didn't help much, but he didn't feel quite as exposed.
Haven sat on the bed beside him and ran her hands into his hair. She massaged his scalp, then ran her fingers along his cheeks and across his forehead gently. She smiled gently down at him while she did and hummed along to the music. She ran the pad of her thumb along Sam's lower lip, and he couldn't take it anymore. He sat up, his hand in her hair, cradling the back of her head while his mouth devoured hers. He was ravenous for her, wanted to touch her as long and deep as she had him. He wanted to be so close to her they merged. As he kissed her, he grew bold and tossed aside the blanket, rolling onto his back and easily lifting her and guiding her to straddle him again. When her mouth was released from his barrage of kisses, Haven let her head fall back on her shoulders and laughed a throaty, sensual laugh of absolute rapture. She was as lost in Sam as he was in her.
She put her hands on Sam's broad chest, fingers splayed wide as if wanting to touch as much of him as possible. She brushed her thumbs through the coarse hair and her pinkies over his nipples. She straddled him, pinning his cock to his belly, her labia open to cover him so that the tip of his cock pressed against her clit. She rocked forward, grinding them against one another and making Sam groan. Rocking against him with a motion like waves lapping at the shore, his hands grasping her hips roughly, his eyes on her pussy as she guided the tip inside of her. His hands tightened painfully on her hips, the tips of his fingers digging into her skin. She bit her lip in concentration, letting the head of his cock slip into her silky, tight entrance and withdrawing only to do it again until he thought he might die of frustration.
It wasn't until he lifted his eyes to look at her face that she sank down further, giving him what he wanted so desperately. He fought to keep his eyes open; all of his senses faded except for the glorious pressure around him as he pressed in deeper into her softness. He lifted his hips to press deeper but stipped when she hissed. The intensity they both felt was straddling the boundary of pleasure and pain.
"Are you ok?" Sam asked breathlessly. He released her hips, propping himself up with one hand and brushing the hair out of her face with the other. Haven leaned into his touch.
"So much better than ok," she told him breathlessly. "Don't stop. I want you to give it all to me." Sam groaned at her words and trailed his fingers down her cheek to caress her lips. He watched with his heart pounding as the tip of her pink tongue licked his fingertip before sucking lightly at it. He moaned from deep in his chest and flipped her onto her back, pinning both of her wrists above her head with one hand and using the other to guide himself back into her. Each thrust forward pushed her boundaries a bit further, just to the point of making her gasp but never as far as to hurt her. Soon, they were flush against one another at their apex and completely, utterly intertwined in body and mind. Sam moved slowly with long, deep strokes.
"Oh, Sam, there, right there..." Haven told him when he found a spot deep inside her that made her vision turn white, and her soul seem to lift up out of her body a little each time he pressed against it.
"There?" Sam asked as he did it again. Haven nodded quickly, gasping for breath, her kiss swollen lips parted slightly. Sam couldn't imagine anything more beautiful in that moment. He smiled and did it again, earning a gasp. His smile turned playful. A bit wicked, even. He felt powerful now that he was in charge. It sent a rush of excitement to his already turned, throbbing cock. His balls tightened, and he forced himself to take a deep breath. He wasn't ready yet. He wanted to stay here for as long as he could. It was the best he could remember feeling. Ever.
He bit his lip and closed his eyes, focusing not on his overwhelming arousal but on the task of making her come. He needed to feel her walls tighten and spasming around him. To watch her face while she trembled and lost herself in the feeling.
"There?" He asked again.
"Yes," she replied.
Each thrust was just a little faster than the last, a little more demanding. Each landed exactly where she wanted it. He repeated his question each time, leading her to cry out louder in response, to thrash her head and buck her hips. His teasing tone had the desired effect. Finally, she screamed his name, and her whole body seized as she came around him. Sam kept moving at the same pace and rhythm, riding her through her orgasm and drawing it out as long as her body could go.
"Oh!" She breathed. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked up at him with a smile of her own. "More." She said quietly. Sam half growled, half laughed. His mind and body practically glowed with pleasure. He felt unburdened. All that existed - all that mattered - was right here, right now.
"More?" Sam repeated, releasing her wrists together, brace himself with one hand planted firmly on either side of her head, her knees over his shoulders as he bent her in half and began thrusting faster. He couldn't hold himself back after that, letting his body drive the pace now until the bed squeaked and rattled under them. Finally, a gutteral noise swelled up from his throat, and she felt him swelling and pulse as he came in deep, strong spurts that made his flexed body tremble. When some of the bloodflow returned to his brain, his eyes focused, and he smiled at her. There was a bit of that shyness again, but there was more confidence than before. More peace, too.
"Oh, oh, shit... I shouldnt have..." Sam suddenly said, his eyes watching as he pulled out of her and the evidence of his orgasm slipped out with his now limp, well exercised cock. "I should've pulled out, I'm sorry..." he told her softly. He seemed disappointed in himself.
"I didn't ask you too," she told him with a smile as he lay on his side next to her. "It's not as powerful if you do."
"What?" Sam's brows knitted together with worry at this. Panic knocked at the back of his mind.
"Sex magic," Haven told him with a light kiss before standing up she found a pair of panties and slipped into them. "You feel better, right?"
Sam chuckled once, his mouth agape. Finally he had to admit, he hadn't felt this good in ages.
"It worked," she told him with a coyly smile as she opened the door. "I'm going to pee and wash up. I'll be back soon. Will you still be here?" There was a hopeful note about the question.
"Uh, yeah. Yeah," Sam told her. As she stepped out, he called lightly after her. "I don't think that's how sex magic works!"
"Are you sorry I tried it?" She asked, peeking back in the door.
"No," Sam admitted.
"Good. Me either," she said, closing the door between them.
*******************************
That night, in her dreams, Haven found herself in a dark cell of some sort. It was nothing she'd ever seen before. She was examining her surroundings when she heard a voice behind her.
"Well, you're not Sam."
She turned to see a tall, thin man with a wicked smile.
"How did you get here?" He asked, walking in a circlenaround her. He reached out and touched one of the braids in her hair.
"I'm not sure..." she admitted. He laughed at her fear.
"Well, it doesn't matter," he told her. "Welcome to hell. I'm Lucifer, you might've heard of me. I'm kind of a big deal."
oh my goddddddd x

So I finally watched the bike riders. Norman was awesome, as always. During the scenes when he had his sunglasses off, his eyes hit me hard! It's amazing how even with almost all of his other features were covered, his eyes were enough to knock me over
He's so beautiful
And just like that.. I’m back on my Bucky Barnes bullshit.
