My favourite fantasy books are those that combine romance and adventure. I am such a bookworm I can’t possible choose one so I’ll do a rec list for you. You’ll see I have a real thing for Urban Fantasy and Paranormal romance lol  

A word of warning a lot of these are adult orientated books but some are young-adult.

I'm going through my reading notes for the Weird & Wonderful holiday romance anthology for my review (I'm so behind *sob* It came out on the 5th) , and I had forgotten this hilarious bit from Christina Rose Andrews' "A Holiday (or Two) to Remember".

The hero is a romance novel cover model. Get it?

Like any anthology, some stories will be a hit for you, and some will be a miss. But if you love romances set around (occasionally odd/obscure) holidays, this anthology is a lot of fun!

Sarah is at NYCC and she talked about the Nessian book.

- Sarah said she's working on the next acotar book and she's in love with it.

- The book is about Nessian and Nesta's recovery

- Sarah said she's training with wooden swords so she can understand what her character is feeling (so Nesta is training, theory confirmed)

Random Cressworth HC’s

I’m desperate for CTD,,, can you tell??

Thomas spoils her so much. It’s practically canon that she looks at a dress and he buys it instantly we love him

someone insults Thomas?? Audrey flays them within an inch of their life with her glare a l o n e and her words finish them off (Thomas is standing there watching his wifey go)

Thomas can braid hair (daciana once annoyed him into doing it) and sometimes when they’re just cuddling Thomas will braid Audrey’s hair

And if he’s not braiding her damn hair he’s fiddling with it in some way (the boy just loves her hair okay)

it annoys Audrey so much cos her maid has just done her hair in a beautiful braided up-do and Thomas kisses her and immediately runs his hands through it (she loves it really, and payback comes in the form of ruffling his own hair which Thomas pretends to not like but really,,, he’s a cat)

Thomas is an actual house cat. He will sprawl onto Audrey’s lap and she’s absentmindedly stroke his hair (one time he purred and AR will never let him forget it)

Thomas is the biggest cuddler?? Boy loves to be the little spoon (AR is a great big spoon even tho she’s tiny; she kinda,,, koala-s him)

But he also loves to be the big spoon because she fits so perfectly in his arms and he presses his face into the spot between her neck and shoulders, and kisses her so softly

All the little absentminded touches?? Like the little handholds, brushing hair from the other’s forehead, kisses when they’re barely awake and it’s habitual
