The version of you right now is deserving of love. Not you two years ago when you had more of your shit together, or the five years later version where you’ll surely be thriving. The version of you right now. The one that might just be okay, or is really struggling, or is bored and unproductive. That version deserves love. Having trouble accepting this is fine, but actively denying it is not. Your value is intrinsic, and finding confidence in that is mandatory.
Facts everyone should know their worth.. don’t ever let a mf try and play you or make you feel like you ain’t deserving
“Your love for someone is NOT their love for you. Read that again. Get really clear on whether you FEEL loved by another. Because anyone can say they love you, but if you don’t feel it, then it’s not true for YOU. How you experience love is a part of your personal truth. And if any part of you questions their love for you, then you don’t feel loved by them whether they truly love you or not. Sometimes not feeling another’s love is a result of a disconnection within the self. And at other times, it’s because of a misalignment with the one we love. Both are two sides of the same coin. When someone makes you feel loved, there’s no question; you’re too busy in the present moment enjoying how they make you feel.”

I remember the first time I even heard of beauty privilege I was like “nah that’s nonsense.”
But intersectionality aside: beauty as a concept has always been super important? What is considered physically beautiful often determined what oriented a society’s moral axis!
What does it mean if all the evil characters are ugly wenches? What does it mean if even an evil beautiful character has to either lose their beauty (People literally say this about Lucifer becoming Satan so), or compete with an even MORE beautiful prize, because it also has moral beauty?
Like when you read the word “virtuous” in some texts it looks like a physical compliment! As in you could see the virtue priming on her lips way over there!
And if beauty is important on both a physical and moral level, it stands to reason that it will just as important on a social level, where morals conflict with actions taken.
Beautiful people get more sympathy. Simple example: male children getting raped by hot teachers. Was even a joke on South Park. You literally have an example of children being harmed, with said harm being lessened as a priority based in beauty!
As in the actual harm a beautiful person can do is conventionally acceptable!
It was also @marfmellow who got me into that. Shout out to her, what a talented and good person.
this was so good to read babe!
thanks for the shout out and keep critiquing!!!
