Valentina is kind of the Superman stand-in, even if her origin is completely different.
Superman's super senses are actually an incredibly important part of hos power set in terms of characterization. Being able to see and hear so much means a) he needs to be able to handle being exposed to all that and b) he is perceived as almost godlike because he appears to be omniscient. I actually love how My Adventures with Superman twisted things by making him become Superman BEFORE getting his super-hearing, then showing how things changed overnight once he did. Suddenly, the weight on his shoulders is a lot more real, and his presence is a lot more obvious to the people of Metropolis.
Many Superman analogs don't have these powers, or don't focus on them as much. But Valentina does. It's a huge part of her character.
If he existed, he'd essentially be a second Valentina, though he probably wouldn’t be able to "see" Etienne's telepathy and so he would be less relevant to the equation, even if you compensated by making him stronger than her or something.
*all of this assumes that a) he's not susceptible to Etienne just shutting his brain off whenever, b) we take Superman at his strongest, since his powers vary a lot depending on what's needed by the plot, and c) we agree that at that power level "who can punch harder" becomes kind of irrelevant. They're all world breakers. That's the point.
