Legretta had just returned from a trip from Belkend to see the Cathedral swarming with knights looking everywhere and the priests barking orders at them hoping to be the one who found the Fon Master. She was stopped by a few of the Oracle Knights who were hoping to expand the search.
She blinked when she noticed Van coming towards her, the look of annoyance on his face as she seemed to straighten up by the time he had fully approached her. “Commandant.” She acknowledged his presence as she looked at him. When he asked if she wished to join him she nodded “Of course.” she answered,
“Perhaps he wondered off on a walk as he does.” she added, the Fon Master was known for liking to take walks and he would get distracted and run off easily. “Do you know if he had a Guardian assigned to him?”
“I do hope so.” Van answered at Legretta’s supposition.
The commandant really hoped that the Fon Master was only on a walk and was going to come back soon. Unfortunately, he had a bad feeling and, once again, he really hoped that the woman’s idea was the good one.
“I don’t know, they didn’t talk about it. But I didn’t see Anise even once. So she is searching for him or she is with him.”
Anise was probably with him. There was no way the young girl would let him alone. She looked like this anyway. Except if she was the kidnapper? What if she was? It could be easy for her.
“Let’s search outside the city. Maybe he’s somewhere near.” He proposed, looking at the knights who were already searching in the city.
They could take a look outside the city in the case Ion wanted to go at the village near here.
