I wanted to start doing some very simplistic lineups of all the characters we met in Malevolent: Threshold so far! So here's batch one featuring Faroe, Michael Callihan, Arthur and Detective Logan

GUYS I DONT KNOW IF I CAN LOOK MY BOSS IN THE EYES ANYMORE!

So, about a two weeks ago, one of my bosses came up behind me while I was working on this:

(more context: I am a student assistant at my college, and I basically have no work at all. I got to entertain myself somehow.)

I have been working on this at work here and there, so they have seen it before. However, one day they asked me what I was working on. I just said, “Oh, just a flow chart of an audio drama I really like.” Hoping that was it. THEN SHE ASKED ME WHAT IT WAS CALLED! BECAUSE SHE WAS GOING ON VACATION THE FOLLOWING WEEK, AND SHE WANTED SOMETHING TO LISTEN TO!

I would’ve been more than happy to share with her, BUT SHE IS JUST A LITTLE LADY. And I am 100% sure this is not her cup of tea. But who am I to say no to my boss. So, I gave her some warnings mostly saying it’s VERY gory and reluctantly gave her the name.

Today is the day she comes back. I wouldn’t be as worried if only ONE OF JOHN’S first words weren’t “Arthur, your whimpering is quite distracting”.

God, what have I done.

UPDATE:

SHE HAS SAID NOTHING! So, I am hoping that she has forgotten all about it, or she loved it so much she doesn’t want to say anything. I could just be blown all of this out of proportion.

I absolutely love malevolent and want other to listen to it BUT NOT MY BOSS, I think she would have a hear attack </3

first post, hello! animated a lil' something to wish a certain yellow fella a (very, very belated) happy birthday :]

I like the idea of both Arthur and Faroe knowing that something is wrong about each other and that isn't their daughter/father. But, while its a tragedy for Arthur, its a horror movie for Faroe.

Think about it. While Arthur knows what happened and struggles with Faroe being grown up and not his little girl, Faroe knows nothing. To her, her father just returned from a 6 month "trip". He looks similar but he acts different. He grew his hair out and it grows at a unnaturally fast rate (headcannon). He's jumpy. He's constantly asking questions he should know the answer to. He writes with his left hand dispite being right-handed and his handwriting is different (Its easier for John to write than Arthur)(another headcanon). Hes secretive. He's ALWAYS wearing gloves. People call him the "Dead Man's Mouthpiece". He's always mumbling/talks to himself and she has no idea who John is (a name he says alot). His confidence and the way he moves through the world feels different. Hes disjointed and frantic at times. He sometimes starts talking about something (possibly a memory she doesn't remember or a fact he treats like second nature) but catches himself and stops from finishing the sentence. She swears he's always had yellow eyes but the memories feel fuzzy. Wrong.

Thats not even considering Parker and Eddie's deaths, Arthur's disappearance after said deaths, and in the short time he visited Daniel he talked about horrors, being followed, and trying to find a group of people (and Daniel also almost got killed).

Faroe's smart, she'll eventually put the pieces together. Maybe she might start diving into more supernatural mythologies to find a answer. I mean Astronomy has strong connections to different mythos. Perhaps she comes to the answer that Arthur is possessed by some spirit/entity (partially true) or that isn't him at all but a changeling/fey of some kind.

Imagine how horrifying that is. To have to act like a man who looks like your father but isn't your father is. To look into those yellow eyes that never seem to fully focus and convince yourself those are your fathers eyes. To find photos of your father from before the "trip" with your now dead uncle. Photos where your father had short hair, dark eyes, no gloves, and no scar across his neck.

If you also want another very good Malevolent fanfic, check out the Freedom in the Flesh series by Senora_Luna @lunaescribe !!! A dear friend of mine recommended it to me(love you, Kay <3), and now I am recommending it to yall!! I will say, fair warning, it is explicit. I usually skip explicit scenes in other fics, but I actually found myself enjoying the writing style. The way they added so much feelings and emotions to those scenes, man, I just love it!! Please go and check them out!!!

(Nothing But) Flowers by DeathRainbows @it-doesnt-matter BRO ANOTHER AMAZING SONIC FANFIC?! I completely and fully recommend this fic to anyone!! It’s basically if Sonic was geared towards adults instead of kids. Each zones are mentioned from the very first game and are described perfectly. All of the original characters that are inserted as side or for plot actually feel like they are needed (this is also coming from someone who isn’t the biggest fan of OC’s in fanfics)!! The extra characters makes sense and actually contribute to the plot. I am also a big fan of angst and hurt, and this story had it all!! I will say there is a VERY serious and sensitive subject that is mentioned, so PLEASE read the tags and warnings!!! But overall, an amazing fic, and this is just the first fic in a trilogy that is still being written. I plan on drawing something for each (if artblock doesn’t kick me in the butt as it did for this, and if college allows me to…)

Also, if you enjoy their fics I also fully recommend FortuneSpirit fics as well!!(I SWEAR I AM DRAWING MORE STUFF FOR THEIR FICS THEY ARE ALSO SO AMAZING)!! <333

Some fanart for an amazing fanfic on ao3 by FortuneSpirit @fortuneshyspirit . It’s called “By the Blade, We Are Bound”. It’s an absolutely gem, and I can not get enough from all the other stories the author has written.

Also this is my first time ever using Tumblr, so let’s see how this goes :)
