What the fuck is the universe trying to teach me right now
not a secret, just not your business
I know it sounds fake but you really do have a lot of silent lovers on this planet who look at you and wish they had your smile or your hair color or your humor or your intelligent or your intentions or your heart, your manners, your eyes, your ease, even just you. People who are too shy to tell you what they admire about you or what they wish for you or who they see themselves becoming bc of you & theyâre too shy to tell you. even tho it isnât verbalized, the universe has still heard and the universe has loved you for helping out on its creations. Youâre that person. Youâre you.
Trauma survivors on tv: (beautifully broken, delivers tearful speech on their traumas, hug it out)
Me: (describes abusive event and laughs) BOY THAT SURE WAS FUCKED UP
âI was very fond of you, but now Iâm so, so tired. Iâm not happy to go, but one neednât be happy to make another start.â
â Camus, Albert. The Plague. (via thequotejournals)
âIf you see beauty in something, donât wait for others to agree.â
â Sherihan Gamal (via wordsnquotes)
âShe wanted to say âDonât leave me,â but she couldnât do it, not again. She was so tired of begging people to love her.â
â Kristin Hannah, The Nightingale (via theliteraryjournals)
A part of being an adult is living with regret and not allowing it to consume you. The older you get, the more mistakes youâve made, opportunities youâve missed, people youâve disappointed. And every day you have to remind yourself to be kind and forgiving of yourself. You accept and love the you from the past and understand that itâs all a part of the process. Then you move on and live your best life, knowing now as old as you feel today, youâll never be this young again.
when will i stop analysing every micro interaction and realise other people have moods and feelings that are not necessarily influenced by my presence
THIS RIGHT HERE
Fuck anyone whoâs ever made you feel like you were hard to love.
Honestly I donât understand how extroverted people even exist??? Going 23 diff places every day?? Then going out every night?? What are you all even doing?? Go to bed.
i feel small; but so are stars from a distance.
ten word poem, i. (via alunit)
what, with all due respect, the absolute fuck
Stop apologizing. You donât have to say sorry for how you laugh, how you dress, how you make your hair, how you speak. You donât have to be sorry for being yourself. Do it fearlessly. Itâs time to accept this is you, and you gotta spend the rest of your life with you. So start loving your sarcasm, your awkwardness, your weirdness, your unique sense of humor, your everything. It will make your life so much easier to simply be yourself.

sheâs distant! sheâs incoherent! sheâs sensitive! she uses escapism as a coping mechanism! sheâs me!!!
you have to actively push jealous thoughts out of your mind. actively celebrate when good things happen to other people. actively choose to not compare yourself. actively decide that someone elseâs success doesnât mean your failure.
of course, âiâ am included in that âyou.â i choose to push those thoughts out of my mind because i refuse to walk around in bitterness, because that bitterness will make me miss out on appreciating the life that i have
